36 – Yaseen
| (1) የ.ሰ.(ያ ሲን) | (1) Yā Sīn |
| (2) ጥበብ በተመላበት ቁርኣን እምላለሁ፡፡ | (2) By the Qur’an, full of wisdom, |
| (3) አንተ በእርግጥ ከመልክተኞቹ ነህ፡፡ | (3) You [O Muhmmad] are indeed one of the messengers, |
| (4) በቀጥታም መንገድ ላይ ነህ፡፡ | (4) on a straight path, |
| (5) አሸናፊ አዛኝ ከሆነው አምላክ መወረድን ተወረደ፡፡ | (5) [This is] a revelation from the All-Mighty, Most Merciful, |
| (6) አባቶቻቸው ያልተስፈራሩትን ሕዝቦች ልታስጠነቅቅበት (ተወረደ)፡፡ እነርሱ ዘንጊዎች ናቸውና፡፡ | (6) so that you warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. |
| (7) በአብዛኞቻቸው ላይ ቃሉ በእውነት ተረጋገጠ፡፡ ስለዚህ እነርሱ አያምኑም፡፡ | (7) The decree [of punishment] has been passed against most of them, for they will not believe. |
| (8) እኛ በአንገቶቻቸው ላይ እንዛዝላዎችን አደረግን፡፡ እርሷም (እንዛዝላይቱ) ወደ አገጮቻቸው ደራሽ ናት፡፡ እነርሱም ራሶቻቸውን ያንጋጠጡ ናቸው፡፡ | (8) [It is as if] We have placed shackles around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are forced to remain up, |
| (9) ከስተፊታቸውም ግርዶን ከስተኋላቸውም ግርዶን አደረግን፡፡ ሸፈንናቸውም፡፡ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያዩም፡፡ | (9) and We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have blocked their vision so they cannot see. |
| (10) ብታሰጠነቅቃቸውም ባታስጠነቅቃቸውም በእነርሱ ላይ እኩል ነው፡፡ አያምኑም፡፡ | (10) It is the same to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. |
| (11) የምታስጠነቅቀው ግሳጼን የተከተለንና አልረሕማንን በሩቅ የፈራን ሰው ብቻ ነው፡፡ በምሕረትና በመልካም ምንዳም አብስረው፡፡ | (11) You can only warn one who follows the Reminder and fears the Most Compassionate unseen. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. |
| (12) እኛ ሙታንን እኛ በእርግጥ ሕያው እናደርጋለን፡፡ ያስቀደሙትንም ሥራ ፈለጎቻቸውንም እንጽፋለን፡፡ ነገሩንም ሁሉ ገላጭ መሪ በኾነ መጽሐፍ ውስጥ አጠቃለልነው፡፡ | (12) It is We Who give life to the dead, and record what they send forth and what they leave behind, and We keep an account of everything in a clear Record. |
| (13) ለእነርሱም የከተማይቱን (የአንጾኪያን) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መልክተኞቹ በመጧት ጊዜ (የኾነውን) ግለጽላቸው፡፡ | (13) Give them an example of the People of the Town when the messengers came to it. |
| (14) ወደእነርሱ ሁለትን ሰዎች በላክንና ባስተባበሉዋቸው ጊዜ በሶስተኛም በአበረታንና እኛ ወደ እናንተ መልክተኞች ነን ባሏቸው ጊዜ (የኾነውን ምሳሌ ግለጽላቸው)፡፡ | (14) When We sent them two [messengers], but they rejected them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “We are sent to you as messengers.” |
| (15) እናንተ መሰላችን ሰዎች እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም፡፡ አልረሕማንም ምንም ነገር አላወረደም፡፡ እናንተ የምትዋሹ እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም አሉዋቸው፡፡ | (15) They said, “You are no more than human beings like us, and the Most Compassionate has not sent down anything. You are simply lying.” |
| (16) (መልክተኞቹም) አሉ «ጌታችን ያውቃል፡፡ እኛ ወደእናንተ በእርግጥ መልክተኞች ነን፡፡ | (16) They said, “Our Lord knows that we are sent to you as messengers. |
| (17) «በእኛ ላይም ግልጽ የኾነ ማድረስ እንጂ ሌላ የለብንም፡፡» | (17) Our duty is only to convey the message clearly.” |
| (18) (ሕዝቦቹም) «እኛ በእናንተ ገደ ቢሶች ኾን፡፡ ባትከለከሉ በእርግጥ እንወግራችኋለን፡፡ ከእኛም አሳማሚ ቅጣት በእርግጥ ያገኛችኋል» አሉ፡፡ | (18) The people said, “We consider you as an evil omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and we will inflict upon you a painful punishment.” |
| (19) «ገደ ቢስነታችሁ ከእናንተው ጋር ነው፡፡ ብትገሰጹ (ትዝታላችሁን?) በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ» አሏቸው፡፡ | (19) The messengers said, “Your evil omen is with yourselves [because of your disbelief]. Is it because you are admonished? Rather, you are a people who transgress all bounds.” |
| (20) ከከተማይቱም ሩቅ ዳርቻ የሚሮጥ ሰው መጣ፡፡ «ወገኖቼ ሆይ! መልክተኞቹን ተከተሉ» አለ፡፡ | (20) A man came from the farthest end of the city, rushing, and said, “O my people, follow the messengers. |
| (21) «እነርሱ ቅኑን መንገድ የተመሩ ሲኾኑ ዋጋን የማየጠይቁዋችሁን ሰዎች ተከተሉ» (አላቸው)፡፡ | (21) Follow those who ask no recompense of you, and who are guided. |
| (22) «ያንንም የፈጠረኝን፤ ወደርሱም የምትመለሱበትን (ጌታ) የማልገዛ ለእኔ ምን አለኝ?» (አለ)፡፡ | (22) Why should I not worship the One Who created me and to Whom you will all be brought back? |
| (23) «ከእርሱ ሌላ አማልክትን እይዛለሁን? አልረህማን በጉዳት ቢሻኝ ምልጃቸው ከእኔ (ለመመለስ) ምንም አትጠቅመኝም፤ አያድኑኝምም፡፡ | (23) Should I take besides Him other gods whose intercession cannot avail me in the least, nor can they come to my rescue, if the Most Compassionate wills to harm me? |
| (24) «እኔ ያን ጊዜ በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ ነኝ፡፡ | (24) Surely I would then be clearly misguided. |
| (25) «እኔ በጌታችሁ አመንኩ፤ ስሙኝም፤» (አለ)፡፡ | (25) I believe in your Lord, so listen to me.” |
| (26) «ገነትን ግባ» ተባለ፡፡ (እርሱም) አለ፡- «ወገኖቼ ቢያውቁ እመኛለሁ፡፡ | (26) [But they killed him], so he was told, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “If only my people knew |
| (27) «ጌታዬ ለእኔ ምሕረት ያደረገልኝና ከተከበሩትም ያደረገኝ መኾኑን፡፡» | (27) of how my Lord has forgiven me, and made me among the honored ones.” |
| (28) ከእርሱም በኋላ በሕዝቦቹ ላይ (ልናጠፋቸው) ሰራዊትን ከሰማይ አላወረድንም፡፡ (በማንም ላይ) አወራጆችም አልነበርንም፡፡ | (28) After his death, We did not send down any soldiers from the heaven against his people, nor did We have to do so. |
| (29) (ቅጣታቸው) አንዲት ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላ አልነበረችም፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ ጠፊዎች ኾኑ፡፡ | (29) It was no more than a single blast, and immediately they were extinguished. |
| (30) በባሮቹ ላይ ዋ ቁልጭት! ከመልክተኛ አንድም አይመጣቸውም በእርሱ የሚሳለቁበት ቢኾኑ እንጅ፡፡ | (30) Alas for the humans! No messenger ever comes to them but they ridicule him. |
| (31) ከእነርሱ በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን ማጥፋታችንንና እነርሱ ወደነርሱ የማይመለሱ መኾናቸውን አላወቁምን? | (31) Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them who will never come back to them? |
| (32) ሁሉም እኛ ዘንድ የሚሰበሰቡ የሚቀረቡ እንጂ ሌላ አይደሉም፡፡ | (32) Yet all of them will be brought before Us. |
| (33) የሞተችውም ምድር ለእነርሱ ምልክት ናት! ሕያው አደረግናት፡፡ ከእርሷም ፍሬን አወጣን፤ ከርሱም ይበላሉ፡፡ | (33) There is a sign for them in the dead land: We give it life and produce from it grain for them to eat. |
| (34) በእርሷም ውሰጥ ከዘምበባዎችና ከወይኖች የኾኑ አትክልቶችን አደረግን፡፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ምንጮችን አፈለቅን፡፡ | (34) And We have made therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines, and caused springs to gush forth, |
| (35) ከፍሬውና እጆቻቸው ከሠሩትም ይበሉ ዘንድ (ይህን አደረግን)፤ አያመሰግኑምን? | (35) so that they may eat of its fruit that was not made by their hands. Will they not then give thanks? |
| (36) ያ ምድር ከምታበቅለው ከነፍሶቻቸውም ከማያውቁትም ነገር ዓይነቶችን ሁሏንም የፈጠረ (አምላክ) ጥራት ይገባው፡፡ | (36) Glory be to the One Who created all types of things that the earth produces, and of themselves, and of things that they have no knowledge about. |
| (37) ሌሊቱም ለእነርሱ ምልክት ነው፡፡ ከእርሱ ላይ ቀንን እንገፍፋለን፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ በጨለማ ውስጥ ይገባሉ፡፡ | (37) There is another sign for them in the night: We strip from it the daylight, and they are left in darkness. |
| (38) ፀሐይም ለእርሷ ወደ ሆነው መርጊያ ትሮጣለች፡፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው አምላክ ውሳኔ ነው፡፡ | (38) The sun is running to its determined course. That is the design of the All-Mighty, All-Knowing. |
| (39) ጨረቃንም የመስፈሪያዎች ባለቤት ሲኾን እንደ ዘንባባ አሮጌ ቀንዘል እስኪኾን ድረስ (መኼዱን) ለካነው፡፡ | (39) As for the moon, We have determined phases for it, until it becomes like an old palm stalk. |
| (40) ፀሐይ ጨረቃን ልትደርስበት አይገባትም፡፡ ሌሊትም ቀንን (ያለ ጊዜው) ቀዳሚ አይኾንም፡፡ ሁሉም በመዞሪያቸው ውስጥ ይዋኛሉ፡፡ | (40) It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor for the night to outstrip the day. Each is floating in its own orbit. |
| (41) እኛም (የቀድሞ) ትውልዳቸውን በተሞላች መርከብ ውስጥ የጫን መኾናችን ለእነርሱ ምልክት ነው፡፡ | (41) Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the loaded Ark, |
| (42) ከመሰሉም በእርሱ የሚሳፈሩበትን ለእነርሱ ፈጠርንላቸው፡፡ | (42) and We created for them similar things on which they ride. |
| (43) ብንሻም እናሰጥማቸዋለን፡፡ ለእነርሱም ረዳት የላቸውም፡፡ እነርሱም የሚድዳኑ አይደሉም፡፡ | (43) If We willed, We could drown them, then there would be no one to respond to their cry, nor could they be rescued, |
| (44) ግን ከእኛ ለኾነው ችሮታና እስከ ጊዜ ሞታቸው ለማጣቀም (አዳንናቸው)፡፡ | (44) except by a mercy from Us, leaving them to enjoy for a while. |
| (45) ለእነርሱም «በስተፊታችሁና በኋለችሁ ያለውን ነገር ተጠንቀቁ ይታዘንላችኋልና» በተባሉ ጊዜ (ፊታቸውን ያዞራሉ)፡፡ | (45) When it is said to them, “Beware of what is ahead of you and what is behind you, so that you may be shown mercy.” |
| (46) ከጌታቸውም ተዓምራት ማንኛይቱም ተዓምር አትመጣላቸውም፤ ከእርሷ የሚሸሹ ቢኾኑ እንጅ፡፡ | (46) No sign ever comes to them from their Lord except that they turn away from it. |
| (47) ለእነርሱም «አላህ ከሰጣችሁ ሲሳይ ለግሱ» በተባሉ ጊዜ እነዚያ የካዱት ለእነዚያ ላመኑት «አላህ ቢሻ ኖሮ የሚያበላውን ሰው እናበላለን? እናንተ በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደላችሁም» ይላሉ፡፡ | (47) And when it is said to them, “Spend of what Allah has provided you with”, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Should we feed those whom Allah could feed if He willed? You are clearly misguided!” |
| (48) «እውነተኞችም እንደኾናችሁ ይህ ቀጠሮ መቼ ነው?» ይላሉ፡፡ | (48) They say, “When will this promise come to pass, if you are truthful?” |
| (49) እነርሱ የሚከራከሩ ሲኾኑ በድንገት የምትይዛቸው የኾነችን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም፡፡ | (49) They are not awaiting but a single Blast that will seize them while they are still disputing. |
| (50) (ያን ጊዜ) መናዘዝንም አይችሉም፡፡ ወደ ቤተሰቦቻቸወም አይመለሱም፡፡ | (50) Then they will not be able to make a will, nor will they be able to return to their households. |
| (51) በቀንዱም ይነፋል፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ ከመቃብሮቻቸው ወደ ጌታቸው በፍጥነት ይገሰግሳሉ፡፡ | (51) The Trumpet will be blown [again], and at once they will rush from their graves to their Lord. |
| (52) «ወይ ጥፋታችን! ከመኝታችን ማን ቀሰቀሰን? ይህ ያ አዛኙ ጌታ (በእርሱ) የቀጠረን መልክተኞቹም እውነትን የነገሩን ነው» ይላሉ፡፡ | (52) They will say, “Woe to us! Who has resurrected us from our resting place?” [They will be told,] “This is what the Most Compassionate promised, and the messengers told the truth.” |
| (53) (እርሷ) አንዲት ጩኸት እንጂ አይደለችም፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ እኛ ዘንድ የሚሰበሰቡ የሚቀርቡ ናቸው፡፡ | (53) It will only be a single Blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us. |
| (54) «ዛሬም ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ምንም አትበደልም፡፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን እንጂ ሌላን አትመነዱም» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (54) On that Day no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be recompensed except for what you used to do. |
| (55) የገነት ሰዎች ዛሬ በእርግጥ በሥራዎች ውስጥ ተደሳቾች ናቸው፡፡ | (55) Indeed, on that Day the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves, |
| (56) እነርሱም ሚስቶቻቸውም በጥላዎች ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ ባለ አጎበር አልጋዎች ላይ ተደጋፊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (56) they and their spouses will be reclining on couches in the shade. |
| (57) በውስጧ ለእነርሱ ፍራፍሬዎች አሏቸው፡፡ ለእነርሱም የሚፈልጉት ሁሉ አልላቸው፡፡ | (57) They will have therein fruits and all what they ask for. |
| (58) (ለእነርሱም) አዛኝ ከሆነው ጌታ በቃል ሰላምታ አላቸው። | (58) “Peace”: a word from a Most Merciful Lord. |
| (59) (ይላልም) «እናንተ አመጸኞች ሆይ! ዛሬ (ከምእምናን) ተለዩ፡፡» | (59) “Stand apart [from the believers] this Day, O wicked ones! |
| (60) የአደም ልጆች ሆይ! ሰይጣንን አትገዙ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና በማለት ወደእናንተ አላዘዝኩምን? | (60) Did I not command you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan, for he is your sworn enemy, |
| (61) ተገዙኝም፤ ይህ ቀጥተኘ መንገድ ነው፤ (በማለትም)፡፡ | (61) but to worship Me? This is a straight path. |
| (62) ከእናንተም ብዙን ፍጡር በእርግጥ አሳስቷል፡፡ የምታውቁም አልነበራችሁምን? | (62) He led great numbers of you astray. Did you not then have sense? |
| (63) ይህቺ ያቺ ትቀጠሩዋት የነበረችው ገሀነም ናት፡፡ | (63) This is the Hell that you were promised. |
| (64) ትክዱ በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ዛሬ ግቧት (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (64) Burn in it Today for your disbelief.” |
| (65) ዛሬ በአፎቻቸው ላይ እናትምና እጆቻቸው ያነጋግሩናል፡፡ እግሮቻቸውም ይሠሩት በነበሩት ሁሉ ይመሰክራሉ፡፡ | (65) Today We will seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to all what they used to do. |
| (66) ብንሻም ኖሮ በዐይኖቻቸው ላይ በአበስን ነበር፡፡ መንገድንም (እንደ ልመዳቸው) በተሽቀዳደሙ ነበር፡፡ እንዴትም ያያሉ? | (66) If We willed, We could have taken away their sight, so they would rush to find their way, but then how could they see? |
| (67) ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር፡፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር፡፡ | (67) And if We willed, We could have paralyzed them in their places, so they could neither move forward nor backward. |
| (68) ዕድሜውንም የምናረዝመውን ሰው በፍጥረቱ (ወደ ደካማነት) እንመልሰዋለን፤ አያውቁምን? | (68) Whomsoever We give a long life, We cause his strength to decline. Do they not then understand? |
| (69) (ሙሐመድን) ቅኔንም አላስተማርነውም፡፡ ለእርሱም አይግገባውም፡፡ እርሱ (መጽሐፉ) መገሰጫና ገላጭ ቁርኣን እንጅ (ቅኔ) አይደለም፡፡ | (69) We have not taught him poetry, nor is it fitting for him. This is only a Reminder and a clear Qur’an |
| (70) (ግሣጼነቱም ልቡ) ሕያው የኾነን ሰው ሊያስፈራራበትና ቃሉም በከሓዲዎች ላይ ይፈጸም ዘንድ ነው፡፡ | (70) so that he may warn those who are truly alive and establish the argument against the disbelievers. |
| (71) እኛ እጆቻችን (ኃይሎቻችን) ከሠሩት ለእነርሱ እንስሳዎችን መፍጠራችንን አያውቁምን? እነርሱም ለእርሷ ባለ መብቶች ናቸው፡፡ | (71) Do they not see that We have created for them livestock made by Our Hands, and then they are their owners? |
| (72) ለእነርሱም ገራናት፡፡ ስለዚህ ከእርሷ ውስጥ የሚጋልቡት አልለ፡፡ ከእርሷም ይበላሉ፡፡ | (72) And We have made them subservient to them; some they ride, and from others they eat, |
| (73) ለእነርሱም በእርሷ ውስጥ (ሌሎች) ጥቅሞች መጠጦችም አሉዋቸው፡፡ ታዲያ አያመሰግኑምን; | (73) and there are other benefits and drinks therein for them. Will they not then give thanks? |
| (74) መረዳትንም በመከጀል ከአላህ ሌላ አማልክትን ያዙ፡፡ | (74) Yet they have taken other gods besides Allah, hoping that they may be helped. |
| (75) መርዳታቸውን አይችሉም፡፡ እነርሱም ለእርሳቸው (ወደ እሳት) የተቀረቡ ሰራዊት ናቸው፡፡ | (75) They cannot help them, yet they serve them as their dedicated guards. |
| (76) ንግግራቸውም አያሳዝንህ፡፡ እኛ የሚደብቁትንም የሚገልጹትንም እናውቃለንና፡፡ | (76) Do not let their words grieve you. Surely We know what they conceal and what they reveal. |
| (77) ሰውየው እኛ ከፍቶት ጠብታ የፈጠርነው መኾናችን አላወቀምን? ወዲያውም እርሱ (ትንሣኤን በመካድ) ግልጽ ተከራካሪ ይኾናልን? | (77) Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm drop, then he becomes a clear adversary, |
| (78) ለእኛም ምሳሌን አደረገልን፡፡ መፈጠሩንም ረሳ፡፡ «አጥንቶችን እነርሱ የበሰበሱ ሲኾኑ ሕያው የሚያደርጋቸው ማነው?» አለ፡፡ | (78) producing arguments against Us while forgetting his own creation. He says, “Who can give life to the bones after they have crumbled to dust?” |
| (79) «ያ በመጀመሪያ ጊዜ (ከኢምንት) ያስገኛት ሕያው ያደርጋታል፡፡ እርሱም በፍጡሩ ሁሉ (ኹኔታ) ዐዋቂ ነው» በለው፡፡ | (79) Say, “The One Who created them in the first place will give life to them, for He has full knowledge of every created being; |
| (80) ያ ለእናንተ በእርጥብ ዛፍ እሳትን ያደረገላችሁ ነው፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እናንተ ከእርሱ ታቀጣጥላላችሁ፡፡ | (80) the One Who made for you fire out of the green tree, with which you kindle your fires.” |
| (81) ያ ሰማያትንና ምድርን የፈጠረ ብጤያቸውን በመፍጠር ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን? ነው እንጅ፡፡ እርሱም በብዙ ፈጣሪው ዐዋቂው ነው፡፡ | (81) Is not the One Who created the heavens and earth able to create the like of these [people]? Yes indeed, for He is the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. |
| (82) ነገሩም አንዳችን በሻ ጊዜ ኹን ማለት ነው፡፡ ወዲያው ይኾናልም፡፡ | (82) Whenever He wills something to be, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is. |
| (83) ያ የነገሩ ሁሉ ስልጣን በእጁ የኾነው ጌታ ጥራት ይገባው፡፡ ወደእርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ፡፡ | (83) So glory be to the One in Whose Hand is the dominion of everything, and to Him you will all be returned. |
