52 – At-Tur
| (1) በጡር (ጋራ) እምላለሁ፡፡ | (1) By the mount of Tūr, |
| (2) በተጻፈው መጽሐፍም፡፡ | (2) and by the Book inscribed |
| (3) በተዘረጋ ብራና ላይ፤ (በተጻፈው)፡፡ | (3) on an unrolled parchment, |
| (4) በደመቀው ቤትም፡፡ | (4) and by the much-frequented House [in heaven], |
| (5) ከፍ በተደረገው ጣራም፡፡ | (5) and by the canopy raised high, |
| (6) በተመላው ባሕርም እምላለሁ፡፡ | (6) and by the sea ever filled. |
| (7) የጌታህ ቅጣት በእርግጥ ወዳቂ ነው፤ (የማይቀር ነው)፡፡ | (7) The punishment of your Lord will surely come to pass; |
| (8) ለእርሱ ምንም ገፍታሪ የለውም፡፡ | (8) there is none who can avert it. |
| (9) ሰማይ ብርቱ መዞርን በምትዞርበት ቀን (ይኾናል)፡፡ | (9) On the Day when the heaven will convulse violently, |
| (10) ተራራዎችም መኼድን በሚኼዱበት (ቀን)፡፡ | (10) and the mountains will move a horrible movement, |
| (11) ለአስተባባዮችም ያን ጊዜ ወዮላቸው፡፡ | (11) then woe to the deniers on that Day, |
| (12) ለእነዚያ እነርሱ በውሸት ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ለኾኑት፡፡ | (12) those who amuse themselves in falsehood. |
| (13) ወደ ገሀነም እሳት በኀይል መግገፍተርን በሚግገፈተሩበት ቀን፡፡ | (13) On the Day when they will be shoved into the Fire forcefully, |
| (14) ይህቺ ያቺ በእርሷ ታስተባብሉባት የነበራችሁት እሳት ናት፡፡ | (14) [They will be told,] “This is the Fire which you used to deny. |
| (15) ይህ (ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት) ድግምት ነውን? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን? | (15) Is this [punishment] magic, or do you not see? |
| (16) ግቧት ታገሱም ወይም አትታገሡ በእናንተ ላይ እኩል ነው፡፡ የምትምመነዱት ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን (ፍዳ) ብቻ ነው (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (16) Burn in it, whether you bear it patiently or impatiently, it makes no difference to you; you are recompensed only for what you used to do.” |
| (17) አላህን ፈሪዎቹ በእርግጥ በገነቶችና በጸጋ ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ | (17) Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and bliss, |
| (18) ጌታቸው በሰጣቸው ጸጋ ተደሳቾች ኾነው (በገነት ውስጥ ናቸው)፡፡ የገሀነምንም ስቃይ ጌታቸው ጠበቃቸው፡፡ | (18) enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of the Blazing Fire. |
| (19) «ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ተደሳቾች ኾናችሁ ብሉ፤ ጠጡም፤» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (19) “Eat and drink pleasantly for what you used to do, |
| (20) በተደረደሩ አልጋዎች ላይ ተደጋፊዎች ኾነው (በገነት ይኖራሉ)፡፡ ዓይናማዎች በኾኑ ነጫጭ ሴቶችም እናጠናዳቸዋለን፡፡ | (20) reclining on couches all lined up”. And We will marry them to houris with wide beautiful eyes. |
| (21) እነዚያም ያመኑትና ዝርያቸውም በእምነት የተከተለቻቸው ዝርያቸውን በእነርሱ እናስጠጋለን፡፡ ከሥራቸውም ምንም አናጎድልባቸውም፡፡ ሰው ሁሉ በሠራው ሥራ ተያዢ ነው፡፡ | (21) As for those who believe and their offspring follow them in faith, We will cause their offspring to join them, and will not detract anything from [the reward of] their deeds. Everyone will be accountable for what he earned. |
| (22) ከሚሹትም ሁሉ እሸትንና ስጋን እንጨምርላቸዋለን፡፡ | (22) And We will provide them with whatever fruit and meat they desire. |
| (23) በውስጧ መጠጥን ይሰጣጣሉ፡፡ በውስጧ ውድቅ ንግግርና መውወንጀልም የለም፡፡ | (23) They will pass around to one another a glass [of pure wine] which does not lead to idle talk or sin. |
| (24) ለነርሱም የኾኑ ወጣቶች ልክ የተሸፈነ ሉል መስለው በእነርሱ ላይ (ለማሳለፍ) ይዘዋወራሉ፡፡ | (24) They will be served by their servant boys, as if they were well-protected pearls. |
| (25) የሚጠያየቁ ኾነውም ከፊላቸው በከፊሉ ላይ ይዞራል፡፡ | (25) They will turn to one another with questions. |
| (26) «እኛ ፊት በቤተሰቦቻችን ውስጥ (ከቅጣት) ፈሪዎች ነበርን» ይላሉ፡፡ | (26) They will say, “Before this, we used to be in awe [of Allah] when we were living among our people. |
| (27) «አላህም በእኛ ላይ ለገሰ፡፡ የመርዛም እሳት ቅጣትንም ጠበቀን፡፡ | (27) Therefore Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire. |
| (28) «እኛ ከዚህ በፊት እንለምነው ነበርን፡፡ እነሆ እርሱ በጎ ዋይ አዛኝ ነውና» (ይላሉ)፡፡ | (28) Indeed, we used to call upon Him before. He is indeed the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.” |
| (29) (ሰዎችን) አስታውስም፡፡ አንተም በጌታህ ጸጋ ምክንያት ጠንቋይም ዕብድም አይደለህም፡፡ | (29) So keep exhorting [O Prophet], for you are not, by the grace of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. |
| (30) ይልቁንም የሞትን አደጋ በእርሱ የምንጠባበቅበት የኾነ ባለ ቅኔ ነው ይላሉን? | (30) Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await a misfortune”? |
| (31) «ተጠባበቁ፤ እኔም ከእናንተ ጋር ከሚጠባበቁት ነኝ» በላቸው፡፡ | (31) Say, “Wait, I too am waiting with you.” |
| (32) አእምሮዎቻቸው በዚህ ያዟቸዋልን? አይደለም በእውነቱ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናቸው፡፡ | (32) Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a transgressing people? |
| (33) ወይም «ቀጠፈው ይላሉን?» አይደለም፤ በእውነቱ አያምኑም፡፡ | (33) Or do they say, “He has made it [the Qur’an] up”? Rather, they are not willing to believe. |
| (34) እውነተኞችም ቢኾኑ መሰሉ የኾነን ንግግር ያምጡ፡፡ | (34) Then let them produce a discourse like this, if they are truthful. |
| (35) ወይስ ያለ አንዳች (ፈጣሪ) ተፈጠሩን? ወይስ እነርሱ ፈጣሪዎች ናቸውን? | (35) Were they created by none, or were they the creators [of themselves]? |
| (36) ወይስ ሰማያትንና ምድርን ፈጠሩን? አይደለም አያረጋግጡም፡፡ | (36) Or did they create the heavens and earth? Rather, they are not certain in faith. |
| (37) ወይስ የጌታህ ግምጃ ቤቶች እነርሱ ዘንድ ናቸውን? ወይስ እነርሱ አሸናፊዎች ናቸውን? | (37) Or do they possess the treasures of your Lord, or do they have full control [of everything]? |
| (38) ወይስ ለእነርሱ በእርሱ ላይ (ከሰማይ) የሚያዳምጡበት መሰላል አላቸውን? አድማጫቸውም (ሰማሁ ቢል) ግልጽን አስረጅ ያምጣ፡፡ | (38) Or do they have a stairway [to the heaven] by which they eavesdrop? Then let those who eavesdrop produce a compelling proof. |
| (39) ወይስ ለእርሱ ሴቶች ልጆች አሉትን? ለእናንተም ወንዶች ልጆች አሏችሁን? | (39) Or does He have daughters while you have sons? |
| (40) ወይስ ዋጋን ትጠይቃቸዋለህን? ስለዚህ እነርሱ ከዕዳው የተከበዱ ናቸውን? | (40) Or are you asking them [O Prophet] for a reward so they find it too burdensome? |
| (41) ወይስ ሩቁ ምስጢር እነርሱ ዘንድ ነውን? ስለዚህ እነርሱ ይጽፋሉን? | (41) Or do they have [knowledge of] the unseen so they are writing it down? |
| (42) ወይስ ተንኮልን (ባንተ) ይሻሉን? እነዚያም የካዱት እነርሱ በተንኮል ተሸናፊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (42) Or do they intend a plot [against the Prophet]? But the plot of the disbelievers will rebound against themselves. |
| (43) ወይስ ለእነርሱ ከአላህ ሌላ አምላክ አላቸውን? አላህ ከሚያጋሩት ሁሉ ጠራ፡፡ | (43) Or do they have a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah far above what they associate with Him. |
| (44) ከሰማይም ቁራጭን (በእነርሱ ላይ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ «ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው» ይሉ ነበር፡፡ | (44) If they were to see pieces of the sky falling down, they would still say, “[This is only] a mass of clouds.” |
| (45) ያንንም በእርሱ የሚግገደሉበትን ቀናቸውን እስከሚገናኙ ድረስ ተዋቸው፡፡ | (45) So leave them alone until they encounter their Day in which they will be struck down, |
| (46) ተንኮላቸው ከእነርሱ ምንንም የማይጠቅማቸውንና እነርሱም የማይርረዱበትን ቀን (እስከ ሚገናኙ ተዋቸው)፡፡ | (46) the Day their plots will not avail them in the least, nor will they be helped. |
| (47) ለእነዚያ ለበደሉትም ከዚህ ሌላ ቅርብ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቻቸው አያውቁም፡፡ | (47) And for the wrongdoers, there will be another punishment before that, but most of them do not know. |
| (48) ለጌታህ ፍርድም ታገሥ፡፡ አንተ በጥበቃችን ውስጥ ነህና፡፡ ጌታህንም በምትነሳ ጊዜ ከማመስገን ጋር አወድሰው፡፡ | (48) Be patient [O Prophet] with your Lord’s decree, for indeed you are under Our [watchful] Eyes. And glorify the praises of your Lord when you rise. |
| (49) ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው፡፡ በከዋክብት መዳበቂያ ጊዜም (ንጋት ላይ አወድሰው)፡፡ | (49) And glorify Him at night and when the stars fade away. |
