| (1) የሸፋኝቱ (ትንሣኤ) ወሬ መጣህን? |
(1) Has there come to you the story of the Overwhelming Event? |
| (2) ፊቶች በዚያ ቀን ተዋራጆች ናቸው፡፡ |
(2) On that Day, some faces will be humiliated, |
| (3) ሠሪዎች ለፊዎች ናቸው፡፡ |
(3) toiling and weary, |
| (4) ተኳሳን እሳት ይገባሉ፡፡ |
(4) as they burn in a scorching Fire. |
| (5) በጣም ከፈላች ምንጭ ይጋታሉ፡፡ |
(5) They will be made to drink from a boiling spring, |
| (6) ለእነርሱ ዶሪዕ ከሚባል (እሾሃም) ዛፍ እንጅ ሌላ ምግብ የላቸውም፡፡ |
(6) and they will have no food except bitter thorny plants, |
| (7) የማያሰባ ከረኃብም የማያብቃቃ ከኾነው፡፡ |
(7) that neither nourishes nor satisfies hunger. |
| (8) ፊቶች በዚያ ቀን ተቀማጣዮች ናቸው፡፡ |
(8) Other faces on that Day will be joyful, |
| (9) ለሥራቸው ተደሳቾች ናቸው፡፡ |
(9) well-pleased with their past striving, |
| (10) በከፍተኛ ገነት ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ |
(10) in an elevated garden, |
| (11) በውስጧ ውድቅን ነገር አይሰሙም፡፡ |
(11) wherein no idle talk will be heard. |
| (12) በውስጧ ፈሳሾች ምንጮች አልሉ፡፡ |
(12) There will be a flowing spring; |
| (13) በውስጧ ከፍ የተደረጉ አልጋዎች አልሉ፡፡ |
(13) and couches raised high, |
| (14) በተርታ የተኖሩ ብርጭቆዎችም፡፡ |
(14) and cups placed ready, |
| (15) የተደረደሩ መከዳዎችም፡፡ |
(15) and cushions lined up, |
| (16) የተነጠፉ ስጋጃዎችም (አልሉ)፡፡ |
(16) and splendid carpets spread out. |
| (17) (ከሓዲዎች) አይመለከቱምን? ወደ ግመል እንዴት እነደተፈጠረች! |
(17) Do they not reflect on the camel, how it is created; |
| (18) ወደ ሰማይም እንዴት ከፍ እንደ ተደረገች! |
(18) and the sky, how it is raised high; |
| (19) ወደ ተራራዎችም እንዴት እንደ ተቸከሉ! |
(19) and the mountains, how they are firmly set up; |
| (20) ወደ ምድርም እንዴ እንደተዘረጋች (አይመለከቱምን?) |
(20) and the earth, how it is spread out? |
| (21) አስታውስም፤ አንተ አስታዋሽ ብቻ ነህና፡፡ |
(21) So remind [O Prophet]; your duty is only to remind; |
| (22) በእነርሱ ላይ ተሿሚ (አስገዳጅ) አይደለህም፡፡ |
(22) you are not assigned to compel them. |
| (23) ግን (ከእውነት) የዞረና የካደ ሰው፤ |
(23) But whoever turns away and disbelieves, |
| (24) አላህ ታላቁን ቅጣት ይቀጣዋል፡፡ |
(24) Allah will inflict upon him the greatest punishment. |
| (25) መመለሻቸው ወደእኛ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
(25) Indeed, to Us is their return, |
| (26) ከዚያም ምርመራቸው በእኛ ላይ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
(26) then it is for Us to call them to account. |
