| (1) ከ.ሀ.የ.ዐ.ጸ (ካፍ ሃ ያ ዓይን ሷድ) | (1) Kāf Ha Ya ‘Ayn Sād |
| (2) (ይህ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን በችሮታው ያወሳበት ነው፡፡ | (2) This is a reminder of the mercy of your Lord to His slave Zachariah, |
| (3) ጌታውን የምስጢርን ጥሪ በተጣራ ጊዜ (አስታውስ)፡፡ | (3) When he called upon his Lord in private. |
| (4) አለ «ጌታዬ ሆይ! እኔ አጥንቴ ደከመ፤ ራሴም በሺበት ተንቀለቀለ፤ አንተም በመለመኔ ጌታዬ ሆይ! (ምንጊዜም) ዕድለ ቢስ አልሆንኩም፡፡ | (4) He said, “My Lord, my bones have grown feeble, and gray hair has spread across my head, yet never have I been disappointed in my prayer to You, my Lord. |
| (5) «እኔም ከበኋላዬ ዘመዶቼን በእርግጥ ፈራሁ፡፡ ሚስቴም መካን ነበረች ስለዚህ ከአንተ ዘንድ ለኔ ልጅን ስጠኝ፡፡ | (5) And I fear my kinsmen after me, and my wife is barren; so grant me from Yourself an heir, |
| (6) «የሚወርሰኝ ከያዕቆብ ቤተሰቦችም የሚወርስ የሆነን (ልጅ)፡፡ ጌታዬ ሆይ! ተወዳጅም አድርገው፡፡» | (6) who will inherit [prophethood] from me and from the house of Jacob, and make him, O Lord, well pleasing to You.” |
| (7) «ዘከሪያ ሆይ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ ስሙ የሕያ በኾነ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን» (አለው)፡፡ | (7) [Allah said], “O Zachariah, We give you the glad tidings of a son, whose name will be John – a name that We have not given to anyone before.” |
| (8) «ጌታዬ ሆይ! ሚስቴ መካን የነበረች ስትኾን እኔም ከእርጅና ድርቀትን በእርግጥ የደረስኩ ስኾን እንዴት ልጅ ይኖረኛል!» አለ፡፡ | (8) He said, “My Lord, how can I have a son when my wife is barren, and I have reached an extremely old age?” |
| (9) (ጅብሪል) አለ «(ነገሩ) እንደዚሁ ነው፡፡ ጌታህ፡- ከአሁን በፊት ምንም ያልነበርከውን የፈጠርኩህ ስኾን እርሱ በእኔ ላይ ቀላል ነው» አለ፡፡ | (9) [The angel] said, “Thus it will be; your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me; I did create you before, when you were nothing.’” |
| (10) «ጌታዬ ሆይ! (እንግዲያውስ) ለእኔ ምልክትን አድርግልኝ አለ፡፡ ምልክትህ ጤናማ ሆነህ ሳለህ ሦስት ሌሊትን (ከነቀናቸው) ሰዎችን ለማነጋገር አለመቻልህ ነው» አለው፡፡ | (10) Zachariah said, “My Lord, give me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you will not be able to speak to people for three nights, despite being sound.” |
| (11) ከምኩራቡም በሕዝቦቹ ላይ ወጣ፡፡ በ×ትና በማታ (ጌታችሁን) አወድሱ በማለትም ወደነሱ ጠቀሰ፡፡ | (11) Thereupon he came out to his people from the sanctuary, and signaled to them to glorify Allah morning and evening. |
| (12) «የሕያ ሆይ! መጽሐፉን በጥብቅ ያዝ!» (አልነው)፡፡ ጥበብንም በሕፃንነቱ ሰጠነው፡፡ | (12) [Allah said], “O John, hold the Scripture with all your strength.” And We gave him wisdom when he was still a child, |
| (13) ከእኛም የሆነን ርኅራኄ ንጽሕናንም (ሰጠነው)፡፡ ጥንቁቅም ነበር፡፡ | (13) as We made him compassionate and righteous, and he was fearing Allah, |
| (14) ለወላጆቹም በጎ ሠሪ ነበር፡፡ ትዕቢተኛ አመጸኛም አልነበረም፡፡ | (14) and dutiful to his parents, and he was not an oppressor or disobedient. |
| (15) በተወለደበት ቀንና በሚሞትበትም ቀን፣ ሕያው ሆኖ በሚነሳበትም ቀን ሰላም በእሱ ላይ ይሁን፡፡ | (15) Peace be on him the day he was born, the day he will die, and the day he will be raised up to life again! |
| (16) በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ መርየምንም ከቤተሰቧ ወደ ምሥራቃዊ ስፍራ በተለይች ጊዜ (የሆነውን ታሪኳን) አውሳ፡፡ | (16) And mention in the Book [the story of] Mary when she withdrew from her family to a place towards the east. |
| (17) ከእነሱም መጋረጃን አደረገች፡፡ መንፈሳችንምም (ጂብሪልን) ወደርሷ ላክን፡፡ ለእርሷም ትክክለኛ ሰው ሆኖ ተመሰለላት፡፡ | (17) She screened herself from them, then We sent to her Our Spirit [Gabriel] and he appeared before her in the form of a perfect human being. |
| (18) «እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ፡፡ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ሆንክ (አትቅረበኝ)» አለች፡፡ | (18) She said, “I seek refuge in the Most Compassionate from you; [do not approach me] if you fear Allah.” |
| (19) «እኔ ንጹሕን ልጅ ለአንቺ ልሰጥሽ የጌታሽ መልክተኛ ነኝ» አላት፡፡ | (19) He said, “I am only a messenger from your Lord to grant you a righteous son.” |
| (20) «(በጋብቻ) ሰው ያልነካኝ ሆኜ አመንዝራም ሳልሆን ለእኔ እንዴት ልጅ ይኖረኛል!» አለች፡፡ | (20) She said, “How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?” |
| (21) አላት «(ነገሩ) እንደዚህሽ ነው፡፡» ጌታሽ «እርሱ በእኔ ላይ ገር ነው፡፡ ለሰዎችም ታምር ከእኛም ችሮታ ልናደርገው (ይህንን ሠራን) የተፈረደም ነገር ነው» አለ፤ (ነፋባትም)፡፡ | (21) He said, “Thus it will be; your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me; We make him a sign for people and a mercy from Us. This matter has already been decreed.’” |
| (22) ወዲያውኑም አረገዘችው፡፡ በእርሱም (በሆዷ ይዛው) ወደ ሩቅ ስፍራ ገለል አለች፡፡ | (22) So she conceived him and withdrew with him to a distant place. |
| (23) ምጡም ወደ ዘንባባይቱ ግንድ አስጠጋት፡፡ «ዋ ምኞቴ! ምነው ከዚህ በፊት በሞትኩ፡፡ ተረስቼም የቀረሁ በሆንኩ» አለች፡፡ | (23) The pains of labor drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, “Oh, would that I had died before this and had been completely forgotten!” |
| (24) ከበታቿም እንዲህ ሲል ጠራት «አትዘኝ፡፡ ጌታሽ ከበታችሽ ትንሽን ወንዝ በእርግጥ አድርጓል፡፡ | (24) Then the baby called her from beneath her, “Do not grieve; your Lord has provided a stream beneath you. |
| (25) «የዘምባባይቱንም ግንድ ወዳንቺ ወዝውዣት ባንቺ ላይ የበሰለን የተምር እሸት ታረግፍልሻለችና፡፡ | (25) Shake the trunk of the palm tree towards yourself; fresh ripe dates will drop upon you. |
| (26) «ብይም፣ ጠጭም፣ ተደሰችም፡፡ እኔ ለአልረሕማን ዝምታን ተስያለሁ፤ ዛሬም ሰውን በፍጹም አላነጋግርም» በይ፡፡ | (26) Eat and drink, and be glad. And if you see any human being, say, ‘I have vowed silence to the Most Compassionate, so I will not talk to any human being today.’” |
| (27) በእርሱም የተሸከመቺው ሆና ወደ ዘመዶቿ መጣች፡፡ «መርየም ሆይ! ከባድን ነገር በእርግጥ ሠራሽ» አሏት፡፡ | (27) Then she came to her people carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have committed something monstrous! |
| (28) «የሃሩን እኅት ሆይ! አባትሽ መጥፎ ሰው አልነበረም፡፡ እናትሽም አመንዝራ አልነበረችም» አሏት፡፡ | (28) O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.” |
| (29) ወደርሱም ጠቀሰች፡፡ «በአንቀልባ ያለን ሕጻን እንዴት እናናግራለን!» አሉ፡፡ | (29) Thereupon she pointed to him. They said, “How can we talk to someone who is still a baby in the cradle?” |
| (30) (ሕፃኑም) አለ «እኔ የአላህ ባሪያ ነኝ፡፡ መጽሐፍን ሰጥቶኛል ነቢይም አድርጎኛል፡፡» | (30) Jesus said, “I am a slave of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. |
| (31) «በየትም ስፍራ ብሆን ብሩክ አድርጎኛል፡፡ በሕይወትም እስካለሁ ሶላትን በመስገድ ዘካንም በመስጠት አዞኛል፡፡» | (31) He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I am alive, |
| (32) «ለእናቴም ታዛዥ (አድርጎኛል)፡፡ ትዕቢተኛ እምቢተኛም አላደረገኝም፡፡ | (32) and has made me dutiful to my mother, and has not made me an oppressor or disobedient. |
| (33) «ሰላምም በእኔ ላይ ነው፡፡ በተወለድሁ ቀን፣ በምሞትበትም ቀን፣ ሕያው ኾኜ በምቀሰቀስበትም ቀን፡፡» | (33) Peace is upon me the day I was born, the day I will die and the day I will be resurrected.” |
| (34) ይህ የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ነው፡፡ ያ በርሱ የሚጠራጠሩበት እውነተኛ ቃል ነው፡፡ | (34) Such was Jesus, son of Mary – a word of truth about which they are in doubt. |
| (35) ለአላህ ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም፡፡ (ከጉድለት ሁሉ) ጠራ፡፡ ነገርን በሻ ጊዜ ለርሱ የሚለው «ኹን» ነው ወዲያውም ይኾናል፡፡ | (35) It is not befitting for Allah to beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is. |
| (36) (ዒሳ አለ) «አላህም ጌታዬ ጌታችሁም ነውና ተገዙት፡፡ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው፡፡» | (36) [Jesus said], “Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.” |
| (37) ከመካከላቸውም አሕዛቦቹ በእርሱ ነገር ተለያዩ፡፡ ለእነዚያም ለካዱት ሰዎች ከታላቁ ቀን መጋፈጥ ወዮላቸው፡፡ | (37) But the factions differed among themselves [about him]. So woe to the disbelievers from the scene of a momentous Day! |
| (38) በሚመጡን ቀን ምን ሰሚ ምንስ ተመልካች አደረጋቸው! ግን አመጸኞች ዛሬ (በዚህ ዓለም) በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ ናቸው፡፤ | (38) How sharp they will hear and see on the Day they come to Us! But today the wrongdoers are clearly misguided. |
| (39) እነሱም (አሁን) በዝንጋቴ ላይ ኾነው ሳሉ እነሱም የማያምኑ ሲኾኑ ነገሩ በሚፈረድበት ጊዜ የቁልጭቱን ቀን አስፈራራቸው፡፡ | (39) Warn them of the Day of Remorse when all matters will be decided, but they are heedless and they do not believe. |
| (40) እኛ ምድርን በእርሷም ላይ ያለውን ሁሉ እኛ እንወርሳለን፡፡ ወደኛም ይመለሳሉ፡፡ | (40) It is We Who will inherit the earth and all those who are on it, and to Us they will be returned. |
| (41) በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ኢብራሂምንም አውሳ፡፡ እርሱ በጣም እውነተኛ ነቢይ ነበርና፡፡ | (41) And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. He was indeed a man of truth and a prophet. |
| (42) ለአባቱ ባለ ጊዜ (አስታውስ) «አባቴ ሆይ! የማይሰማንና የማያይን ከአንተም ምንንም የማይጠቅምህን (ጣዖት) ለምን ትግገዛለህ | (42) When he said to his father, “O my dear father, why do you worship something that neither hears nor sees, nor benefits you in any way? |
| (43) «አባቴ ሆይ! እኔ ከዕውቀት ያልመጣልህ ነገር በእርግጥ መጥቶልኛልና ተከተለኝ፡፡ ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ እመራሃለሁና፡፡ | (43) O my dear father, there has come to me some knowledge that has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to a straight path. |
| (44) «አባቴ ሆይ! ሰይጣንን አትግገዛ፡፡ ሰይጣን ለአልረሕማን አመጸኛ ነውና፡፡ | (44) O my dear father, do not worship Satan. Indeed, Satan is rebellious against the Most Compassionate. |
| (45) «አባቴ ሆይ! እኔ ከአልረሕማን ቅጣት ሊያገኝህ ለሰይጣንም ጓደኛ ልትኾን እፈራለሁ፡፡» | (45) O my dear father, I truly fear that a punishment from the Most Compassionate may afflict you and that you may become a companion of Satan [in Hell].” |
| (46) (አባቱም) «ኢብራሂም ሆይ! አንተ አምላኮቼን ትተህ የምትዞር ነህን ባትከለከል በእርግጥ እወግርሃለሁ፡፡ ረዥም ጊዜንም ተወኝ» አለ፡፡ | (46) He said, “Are you turning away from my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will surely stone you. Keep away from me for a long time!” |
| (47) «ደህና ኹን፡፡ ወደፊት ከጌታዬ ምሕረትን እለምንልሃለሁ፡፡ እርሱ ለኔ በጣም ርኅሩኅ ነውና» አለ፡፡ | (47) Abraham said, “Peace be on you. I will seek my Lord’s forgiveness for you. Indeed, He is Most Gracious to me. |
| (48) «እናንተንም ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዙትንም እርቃለሁ፡፡ ጌታዬንም እግገዛለሁ፡፡ ጌታዬን በመገዛት የማፍር አለመኾኔን እከጅላለሁ፡፡» | (48) I will distance myself from you and from all that you supplicate besides Allah, and I will supplicate to my Lord; perhaps my supplication to my Lord will not go unanswered.” |
| (49) እነርሱንም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚግገዙትንም በራቀ ጊዜ ለእርሱ ኢስሐቅንና ያዕቆብን ሰጠነው፡፡ ሁሉንም ነቢይ አደረግንም፡፡ | (49) When he distanced himself from them and what they worshiped besides Allah, We granted him Isaac and Jacob, and made each one of them a prophet. |
| (50) ለእነሱም ከችሮታችን ሰጠናቸው፡፡ ለእነርሱም ከፍ ያለ ምስጉን ዝናን አደረግንላቸው፡፡ | (50) We bestowed upon them of Our mercy, and blessed them with a highly-esteemed reputation. |
| (51) በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ሙሳንም አውሳ፡፡ እርሱ ምርጥ ነበርና፡፡ መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር፡፡ | (51) And mention in the Book [the story of] Moses. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. |
| (52) ከጡር ቀኝ ጎን በኩልም ጠራነው፡፡ ያነጋገርነውም ሲኾን አቀረብነው፡፡ | (52) We called him from the right side of Mount Tūr [in Sinai] and We brought him near by conversing with him in private. |
| (53) ከችሮታችንም ወንድሙን ሃሩንን ነቢይ አድርገን ሰጠነው፡፡ | (53) And We granted him, by Our mercy, his brother Aaron, as a prophet. |
| (54) በመጽሐፉ ኢስማዒልንም አውሳ፡፡ እርሱ ቀጠሮን አክባሪ ነበረና፡፡ መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር፡፡ | (54) And mention in the Book [the story of] Ishmael. He was true to his promise, and was a messenger and a prophet. |
| (55) ቤተሰቦቹንም በሶላትና በዘካ ያዝ ነበር፡፡ እጌታውም ዘንድ ተወዳጅ ነበር፡፡ | (55) He used to command his people to pray and give zakah, and his Lord was well pleased with him. |
| (56) በመጽሐፉ ኢድሪስንም (ሄኖክን) አውሳ፡፡ እርሱ እውነተኛ ነቢይ ነበርና፡፡ | (56) And mention in the Book [the story of] Idrīs. He was a man of truth and a prophet. |
| (57) ወደ ከፍተኛም ስፍራ አነሳነው፡፡ | (57) And We raised him to a high status. |
| (58) እነዚህ (ዐሥሩ) እነዚያ አላህ በእነሱ ላይ የለገሰላቸው ከነቢያት ከአዳም ዘር ከኑሕ ጋር (በመርከቢቱ ላይ) ከጫናቸውም (ዘሮች) ከኢብራሂምና ከእስራኤልም ዘሮች ከመራናቸውና ከመረጥናቸውም የኾኑት የአልረሕማን አንቀጾች በነሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ ሰጋጆችና አልቃሾች ኾነው ይወድቃሉ፡፡ | (58) These are the prophets whom Allah has favored from among the descendants of Adam, and from those whom We carried with Noah [in the Ark], and from the descendants of Abraham and Israel [Jacob], and from those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the verses of the Most Compassionate were recited to them, they fell down in prostration, weeping. |
| (59) ከእነሱም በኋላ ሶላትን ያጓደሉ (የተዉ) ፍላጎቶችንም የተከተሉ መጥፎ ምትኮች ተተኩ! የገሀነምንም ሸለቆ በእርግጥ ያገኛሉ፡፡ | (59) But they were succeeded by generations who neglected prayer and pursued their desires; so they will meet their doom, |
| (60) ግን የተጸጸተና ያመነም በጎንም ሥራ የሠራ ሰው እነዚህ ገነትን ይገባሉ፡፡ አንዳችንም አይበደሉም፡፡ | (60) except those who repent and believe, and do righteous deeds – it is they who will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in the least. |
| (61) የመኖሪያን ገነቶች ያችን አልረሕማን ለባሮቹ በሩቅ ኾነው ሳሉ ተስፋ ቃል የገባላቸውን (ይገባሉ)፡፡ እርሱ ተስፋው ተፈጻሚ ነውና፤ | (61) Gardens of Eternity which the Most Compassionate has promised His slaves who have not seen them. His promise will surely be fulfilled. |
| (62) በእርሷ ሰላምን እንጂ ውድቅን ነገር አይሰሙም፡፡ ለእነሱም በርሷ ውስጥ ጧትም ማታም ሲሳያቸው አላቸው፡፡ | (62) They will not hear therein any idle talk, except greetings of peace, and they will have their provision morning and evening. |
| (63) ይህች ያቺ ከባሮቻችን ጥንቁቆች ለኾኑት የምናወርሳት ገነት ናት፡፡ | (63) Such is the Paradise which We will give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who feared Allah. |
| (64) (ጂብሪል አለ) «በጌታህም ትእዛዝ እንጅ አንወርድም፡፡ በፊታችን ያለው፣ በኋላችንም ያለው በዚህም መካከል ያለው ሁሉ የርሱ ነው፡፡ ጌታህም ረሺ አይደለም፡፡ | (64) [Gabriel said], “We do not descend except with the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that is in between. Your Lord is never forgetful. |
| (65) (እርሱ) የሰማያትና የምድር በሁለቱም መካከል ላለው ሁሉ ጌታ ነውና ተገዛው፡፡ እርሱን በመገዛትም ላይ ታገስ፡፡ ለእርሱ ሞክሼን ታውቃለህን | (65) Lord of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So worship Him and be constant in worshiping Him. Do you know anyone equal to Him?” |
| (66) ሰውም «በሞትኩ ጊዜ ወደፊት ሕያው ኾኜ (ከመቃብር) እወጣለሁን» ይላል፡፡ | (66) Man says, “Once I am dead, will I be raised to life again?” |
| (67) ሰው ከአሁን በፊት ምንም ነገር ያልነበረ ሲኾን እኛ የፈጠርነው መኾኑን አያስታውስምን | (67) Does man not remember that We created him beforehand, when he was nothing? |
| (68) በጌታህ እንምላለን ሰይጣናት ጋር በእርግጥ እንሰበስባቸዋለን፡፡ ከዚያም በገሀነም ዙሪያ የተንበረከኩ ኾነው፤ በእርግጥ እናቀርባቸዋለን፡፡ | (68) By your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils, then We will surely bring them all around Hell on their knees. |
| (69) ከዚያም ከየጭፍሮቹ ሁሉ ከእነርሱ ያንን (እርሱ) በአልረሕማን ላይ በድፍረት በጣም ብርቱ የኾነውን እናወጣለን፡፡ | (69) Then We will surely drag out of every group those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate. |
| (70) ከዚያም እኛ እነዚያን እነርሱ በእርሷ ለመግባት ተገቢ የኾኑትን እናውቃለን፡፡ | (70) For indeed We know best those who are most deserving to burn therein. |
| (71) ከእናንተም ወደ እርሷ ወራጅ እንጂ አንድም የለም፡፡ (መውረዱም) ጌታህ የፈረደው ግዴታ ነው፡፡ | (71) There is none among you except that he will pass over it; a decree from your Lord that must be fulfilled. |
| (72) ከዚያም እነዚያን የተጠነቀቁትን እናድናለን፡፡ አመጸኞቹንም የተንበረከኩ ኾነው በውስጧ እንተዋቸዋለን፡፡ | (72) Then We will save those who fear Allah and will leave the wrongdoers in it on their knees. |
| (73) በእነሱም ላይ አንቀጾቻችን ግልጽ መስረጃዎች ኾነው በተነበቡ ጊዜ እነዚያ የካዱት ለእነዚያ ላመኑት «ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች መኖሪያው የሚበልጠውና ሸንጎውም ይበልጥ የሚያምረው ማንኛው ነው» ይላሉ፡፡ | (73) When Our verses are recited to them in all their clarity, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Which of the two parties is better in terms of dwellings and superior in social gatherings?” |
| (74) ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል፡፡ | (74) How many generations We have destroyed before them who were superior in terms of wealth and outward appearance! |
| (75) «በስሕተት ውስጥ የኾነ ሰው አልረሕማን ለእርሱ ማዘግየትን ያዘገየዋል፡፡ የሚዛትባቸውንም ወይም ቅጣቱን ወይም ሰዓቲቱን ባዩ ጊዜ እርሱ ስፍራው መጥፎና ሰራዊቱ ደካማ የኾነው ሰው ማን እንደኾነ በእርግጥ ያውቃሉ» በላቸው፡፡ | (75) Say, “Whoever is following misguidance, the Most Compassionate will give him respite, until they see what they were warned of – be it the punishment [in this world] or the Hour – only then will they realize who is in a worse abode and who has a smaller following.” |
| (76) እነዚያንም የቀኑትን ሰዎች አላህ ቅንነትን ይጨምርላቸዋል፡፡ መልካሞቹ ቀሪዎች (ሥራዎች) እጌታህ ዘንድ በምንዳ በላጭ ናቸው፡፡ በመመለሻም የተሻሉ ናቸው፡፡ | (76) Allah increases in guidance those who are guided, and the righteous deeds of lasting merit are better with your Lord in reward and better in return. |
| (77) ያንንም በአንቀጾቻችን የካደውን «(በትንሣኤ ቀን) ገንዘብም ልጅም በእርግጥ እስሰጣለሁ ያለውንም አየህን» | (77) Have you seen the one who rejects Our verses and says, “I will surely be given wealth and children [if I am resurrected]?” |
| (78) ሩቁን ምስጢር ዐወቀን ወይስ አልረሕማን ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳንን ያዘ | (78) Has he obtained knowledge of the unseen, or has he taken a pledge with the Most Compassionate? |
| (79) ይከልከል (አይሰጠውም)፡፡ የሚለውን ሁሉ በእርግጥ እንጽፋለን፡፡ ለእርሱም ከቅጣት ጭማሬን እንጨምርለታለን፡፡ | (79) Never! We will write down what he says and will prolong his punishment extensively. |
| (80) (አልለኝ) የሚለውንም ሁሉ እንወርሰዋለን፡፡ ብቻውንም ኾኖ ይመጣናል፡፡ | (80) We will inherit what he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. |
| (81) ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለእነሱ መከበሪያ (አማላጅ) እንዲኾኑዋቸው ያዙ፡፡ | (81) They have taken gods other than Allah, in order that they may protect them [from punishment]. |
| (82) ይከልከሉ፤ መገዛታቸውን በእርግጥ ይክዷቸዋል፡፡ በእነሱም ላይ ተቃራኒ ይኾኑባቸዋል፡፡ | (82) Never! They will deny their worship and will become their enemies. |
| (83) እኛ ሰይጣናትን በከሓዲዎች ላይ (በመጥፎ ሥራ) ማወባራትን የሚያወባሩዋቸው ሲኾኑ የላክን መኾናችንን አለየህምን | (83) Do you not see that We sent devils against the disbelievers constantly inciting them to sin? |
| (84) በእነሱም (መቀጣት) ላይ አትቻኮል፡፡ ለእነሱ (ቀንን) መቁጠርን እንቆጥርላቸዋለንና፡፡ | (84) So do not be in haste about them; We are surely counting down their days. |
| (85) ምእምናንን የተከበሩ ጭፍሮች ኾነው ወደ አልረሕማን የምንሰበስብበትን ቀን (አስታውስ)፡፡ | (85) The Day when We will gather the righteous before the Most Compassionate as honored guests, |
| (86) ከሓዲዎችንም የተጠሙ ኾነው ወደ ገሀነም የምንነዳበትን (ቀን አስታውስ)፡፡ | (86) and We will drive the wicked to Hell like a thirsty herd. |
| (87) አልረሕማን ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳንን የያዘ ሰው ቢኾን እንጂ ማማለድን አይችሉም፡፡ | (87) None will have the power to intercede except those who have taken permission from the Most Compassionate. |
| (88) «አልረሕማንም ልጅን ያዘ (ወለደ)» አሉ፡፡ | (88) They say, “The Most Compassionate has begotten a son.” |
| (89) ከባድ መጥፎን ነገር በእርግጥ አመጣችሁ፡፡ | (89) You have made a monstrous statement, |
| (90) ከእርሱ (ከንግግራቸው) ሰማያት ሊቀደዱ፣ ምድርም ልትሰነጠቅ፣ ጋራዎችም ተንደው ሊወድቁ ይቃረባሉ፡፡ | (90) at which the heavens are about to be torn apart, the earth split asunder, and the mountains tumble down. |
| (91) ለአልረሕማን ልጅ አልለው ስለአሉ፡፡ | (91) because they have ascribed to the Most Compassionate a son. |
| (92) ለአልረሕማን ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም፡፡ | (92) It is not appropriate for the Most Compassionate to beget a son. |
| (93) በሰማያትና በምድር ያለው ሁሉ (በትንሣኤ ቀን) ለአልራሕማን ባሪያ ኾነው የሚመጡ እንጂ ሌላ አይደሉም፡፡ | (93) There is none in the heavens and earth except that he will come to the Most Compassionate in full submission. |
| (94) በእርግጥ (በዕውቀቱ) ከቧቸዋል፡፡ መቁጠርንም ቆጥሯቸዋል፡፡ | (94) He has counted them and numbered them precisely. |
| (95) ሁሉም በትንሣኤ ቀን ለየብቻ ኾነው ወደርሱ መጪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (95) Each one of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection all alone. |
| (96) እነዚያ ያመኑና በጎ ሥራዎችን የሠሩ አልረሕማን ለእነሱ ውዴታን ይሰጣቸዋል፡፡ | (96) Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Most Compassionate will endear them [to His creation]. |
| (97) በምላስህም (ቁርኣንን) ያገራነው በእርሱ ጥንቁቆቹን ልታበስርበት በእርሱም ተከራካሪዎችን ሕዝቦች ልታስፈራራበት ነው፡፡ | (97) We have made this [Qur’an] easy on your language so that you may give thereby glad tidings to the righteous and warn people who are contentious. |
| (98) ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል፡፡ ከእነሱ አንድን እንኳ ታያለህን ወይስ ለእነሱ ሹክሹክታን ትሰማለህን | (98) How many generations We destroyed before them! Do you sense a single one of them or even hear from them a whisper? |
