76 – Al-Insaan
| (1) በሰው ላይ የሚታወስ ነገር ሳይኾን ከዘመናት የተወሰነ ጊዜ በእርግጥ አልፎበታል፡፡ | (1) Was there not a period of time when man was not a thing [even] mentioned? |
| (2) እኛ ሰውን (በሕግ ግዳጅ) የምንሞከረው ስንኾን ቅልቅሎች ከኾኑ የፍትወት ጠብታ ፈጠርነው፡፡ ሰሚ ተመልካችም አደረግነው፡፡ | (2) Indeed, We created man from a drop of mixed fluids, in order to test him. So We gave him hearing and sight. |
| (3) እኛ ወይ አመስጋኝ ወይም ከሓዲ ሲኾን መንገዱን መራነው፤ (ገለጽንለት)፡፡ | (3) Indeed, We showed him the way, whether he is grateful or ungrateful. |
| (4) እኛ ለከሓዲዎች ሰንሰሎቶችንና እንዛዝላዎችን፣ እሳትንም አዘጋጅተናል፡፡ | (4) We have surely prepared for the disbelievers chains, shackles, and a Blazing Fire. |
| (5) በጎ አድራጊዎች መበረዣዋ ካፉር ከኾነች ጠጅ ይጠጣሉ፡፡ | (5) Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] flavored with camphor, |
| (6) ከእርሷ የአላህ ባሮች የሚጠጡላት (ወደፈለጉበት) ማንቧቧትን የሚያንቧቧት ከኾነች ምንጭ (ይጠጣሉ)፡፡ | (6) a spring from which Allah’s slaves will drink, which will flow as they wish. |
| (7) (ዛሬ) በስለታቸው ይሞላሉ፡፡ መከራው ተሰራጪ የኾነንም ቀን ይፈራሉ፡፡ | (7) They fulfill their vows and fear a Day whose evil will spread far and wide, |
| (8) ምግብንም ከመውደዳቸው ጋር ለድኻ፣ ለየቲምም፣ ለምርኮኛም ለእስረኛም ያበላሉ፡፡ | (8) and they give food, despite their love for it, to the needy, the orphans, and the captives, |
| (9) «የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም፡፡ | (9) [saying to themselves] “We feed you only for the sake of Allah; we seek from you neither reward nor gratitude. |
| (10) «እኛ (ፊትን) የሚያጨፈግግን ብርቱ ቀን ከጌታችን እንፈራለንና፤» (ይላሉ)፡፡ | (10) We fear from our Lord a grim and distressful Day.” |
| (11) አላህም የዚያን ቀን ክፋት ጠበቃቸው፡፡ (ፊታቸው) ማማርንና መደሰትንም ገጠማቸው፡፡ | (11) So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day, and will grant them radiance and delight, |
| (12) በመታገሣቸውም ገነትንና የሐር ልብስን መነዳቸው፡፡ | (12) and will reward them for their perseverance with Paradise and garments of silk. |
| (13) በውስጧ በባለ አጎበር አልጋዎች ላይ ተደጋፊዎች በውስጧ ፀሐይንም ጨረቃንም የማያዩ ሲኾኑ፡፡ | (13) They will recline therein on adorned couches; neither feeling scorching heat nor freezing cold. |
| (14) ዛፎችዋም በእነርሱ ላይ የቀረበች፣ ፍሬዎችዋም (ለለቃሚዎች) መግገራትን የተገራች ስትኾን (ገነትን መነዳቸው)፡፡ | (14) with shady branches spread above them, and clusters of fruit will be made within their reach. |
| (15) በእነርሱም ላይ ከብር በኾኑ ዕቃዎች (ሰሐኖች) የብርጭቆዎች በኾኑ ኩባያዎችም ይዝዞርባቸዋል፡፡ | (15) They will be served frequently with silver vessels and crystal cups, |
| (16) መለካትን የለኳቸው በኾኑ የብር ብርጭቆዎች (ይዝዞርባቸዋል)፡፡ | (16) crystalline goblets of silver, filled precisely as desired. |
| (17) በእርሷም መበረዣዋ ዘንጀቢል የኾነችን ጠጅ ይጠጣሉ፡፡ | (17) They will be given a glass [of wine] flavored with ginger |
| (18) በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ፡፡ | (18) from a spring therein called Salsabīl. |
| (19) በእነርሱም ላይ (ባሉበት ኹነታ) የሚዘወትሩ ወጣት ልጆች ይዘዋወራሉ፡፡ ባየሃቸው ጊዜ የተበተነ ሉል ናቸው ብለህ ታስባቸዋለህ፡፡ | (19) They will be served by eternal young boys; if you see them, you would think that they are scattered pearls. |
| (20) እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ፡፡ | (20) If you were to look around, you would see bliss and a vast dominion. |
| (21) አረንጓዴዎች የኾኑ የቀጭን ሐር ልብሶችና ወፍራም ሐርም በላያቸው ላይ አልለ፡፡ ከብር የኾኑ አንባሮችንም ይሸለማሉ፡፡ ጌታቸውም አጥሪ የኾነን መጠጥ ያጠጣቸዋል፡፡ | (21) They will be dressed in garments of fine green silk and rich brocade, and will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink. |
| (22) «ይህ በእርግጥ ለእናንተ ዋጋ ኾነ፡፡ ሥራችሁም ምስጉን ኾነ፤» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (22) [And they will be told,] “Indeed, this is your reward, and your efforts have been appreciated.” |
| (23) እኛ ቁርኣንን ባንተ ላይ ማውረድን እኛው አወረድነው፡፡ | (23) Indeed, it is We Who have sent down the Qur’an to you in stages. |
| (24) ለጌታህ ፍርድም ታገሥ፡፡ ከእነርሱም ኀጢአተኛን ወይም ከሓዲን አትታዘዝ፡፡ | (24) So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not obey any sinner or disbeliever from among them. |
| (25) የጌታህንም ስም በጧትና ከቀትር በላይ አውሳ፡፡ | (25) And remember the Name of your Lord morning and evening, |
| (26) ከሌሊቱም ለእርሱ ስገድ፡፡ በረዢም ሌሊትም አወድሰው፡፡ | (26) and prostrate to Him at night, and glorify Him at length by night. |
| (27) እነዚያ ፈጣኒቱን ዓለም ይወዳሉ፡፡ ከባድን ቀንም በስተፊታቸው ኾኖ ይተዋሉ፡፡ | (27) Indeed, these [pagans] love this fleeting life and pay no heed to a heavy Day ahead of them. |
| (28) እኛ ፈጠርናቸው፡፡ መለያልያቸውንም አጠነከርን፡፡ በሻንም ጊዜ መሰሎቻቸውን መለወጥን እንለውጣለን፡፡ | (28) It is We Who created them and strengthened their build. If We will, We can replace them with others like them. |
| (29) ይህቺ መገሠጫ ናት፡፡ የሻም ሰው ወደ ጌታው መንገድን ይይዛል፡፡ | (29) Indeed, this is a reminder; so let anyone who wills may take a way to his Lord. |
| (30) አላህም ካልሻ በስተቀር አትሹም፡፡ አላህ ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነውና፡፡ | (30) But you cannot will unless Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. |
| (31) የሚሻውን ሰው በእዝነቱ ውስጥ ያገባዋል፡፡ በዳዮቹንም (ዝቶባቸዋል)፡፡ ለእነርሱ አሳማሚ ቅጣትን አዘጋጅቶላቸዋል፡፡ | (31) He admits whom He wills into His mercy, but for the wrongdoers He has prepared a painful punishment. |
