43 – Az-Zukhruf
| (1) ሐ.መ (ሓ ሚም)፡፡ | (1) Hā Mīm. |
| (2) ገላጭ በኾነው መጽሐፍ እምላለሁ፡፡ | (2) By the clear Book, |
| (3) እኛ ታውቁ ዘንድ ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን አደረግነው፡፡ | (3) Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’an so that you may understand, |
| (4) እርሱም በመጽሐፎቹ እናት ውስጥ እኛ ዘንድ በእርግጥ ከፍተኛ ጥበብ የተመላ ነው፡፡ | (4) and it is in the Master Book [Preserved Tablet] with us, highly esteemed, full of wisdom. |
| (5) ድንበር አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ለመኾናችሁ ቁርኣኑን ከእናንተ ማገድን እናግዳለን? | (5) Should We then turn the Reminder away from you simply because you are a transgressing people? |
| (6) በፊተኞቹም ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ከነቢይ ብዙን ልከናል፡፡ | (6) How many a prophet did We send to the earlier peoples! |
| (7) ከነቢይም አንድም የሚመጣላቸው አልነበረም በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩ ቢኾኑ እንጅ፡፡ | (7) No prophet ever came to them except that they ridiculed him. |
| (8) ከእነርሱም በኀይል ይበልጥ የበረቱትን አጥፍተናል፡፡ የፊተኞቹም (አጠፋፍ) ምሳሌ አልፏል፡፡ | (8) So We destroyed them, although they were greater in might than these [Pagans], and the stories of the earlier nations have already been related. |
| (9) «ሰማያትንና ምድርንም ማን ፈጠራቸው» ብለህ ብትጠይቃቸው «አሸናፊው ዐዋቂው (አላህ) በእርግጥ ፈጠራቸው» ይላሉ፡፡ | (9) If you ask them, “who created the heavens and earth?”, they will surely say, “The All-Mighty, the All-Knowing created them.” |
| (10) (እርሱ) ያ ምድርን ለእናንተ ምንጣፍ ያደረገላችሁ በርሷም ውስጥ ትምመሩ ዘንድ ለእናንተ መንገዶችን ያደረገላችሁ ነው፡፡ | (10) It is He Who spread out the earth for you, and made therein pathways for you, so that you may find your way. |
| (11) ያም ከሰማያ ውሃን በልክ ያወረደላችሁ ነው፡፡ በእርሱም የሞተችውን አገር ሕያው አደረግን፡፡ እንደዚሁ (ከመቃብራችሁ) ትውወጣላችሁ፡፡ | (11) And it is He Who sends down rain from the sky in due measure, by which We revive dead land. This is how you will be brought forth [from the grave]. |
| (12) ያም ዓይነቶችን ሁሉ የፈጠረ ለእናንተም ከመርከቦችና ከቤት እንስሳዎች የምትጋልቧቸውን ያደረገላችሁ ነው፡፡ | (12) And it is He Who created all types of things, and made for you ships and animals on which you ride, |
| (13) በጀርባዎቹ ላይ እንድትደላደሉ ከዚያም በርሱ ላይ የተደላደላችሁ ጊዜ የጌታችሁን ጸጋ እንድታስታውሱ፤ እንድትሉም፡- «ያ ይህንን የማንችለው ስንኾን ለእኛ ያገራለን ጌታ ጥራት ይገባው፡፡ | (13) so that you may settle yourselves on their backs, then remember the blessings of your Lord when you have settled thereupon and say, “Glory be to Him Who has subjected this for us, for we could not have done it by ourselves. |
| (14) እኛም በእርግጥ ወደ ጌታችን ተመላሾች፤ነን» (እንድትሉ)፡፡ | (14) It is to our Lord that we will surely return.” |
| (15) ከባሮቹም ለእርሱ ቁራጭን (ልጅን) አደረጉለት፡፡ ሰው በእርግጥ ግልጽ ከሓዲ ነው፡፡ | (15) Yet they ascribe to Him some of His slaves as offspring. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful. |
| (16) ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ ሴቶች ልጆችን ያዘን? በወንዶች ልጆችም (እናንተን) መረጣችሁን? | (16) Has He taken for Himself daughters from what He has created, and favored you with sons? |
| (17) አንዳቸውም ለአልረሕማን ምሳሌ ባደረገው ነገር (በሴት ልጅ) በተበሰረ ጊዜ እርሱ በቁጭት የተመላ ኾኖ ፊቱ የጠቆረ ይኾናል፡፡ | (17) When one of them is given tidings of [a baby girl] the like of which he ascribes to the Most Compassionate, his face darkens as he suppresses his rage. |
| (18) በጌጥ (ተከልሶ) እንዲያድግ የሚደረገውን? እርሱም (ለደካማነቱ) በክርክር የሚያብራራውን ፍጡር (ሴትን) ለአላህ ያደርጋሉን? | (18) Or [do they ascribe to Allah] one who is brought up in adornments and is not able to present a clear argument in disputation? |
| (19) መላእክትንም እነርሱ የአልረሕማን ባሮች የኾኑትን ሴቶች አደረጉ፡፡ ሲፈጠሩ ነበሩን? መመስከራቸው በእርግጥ ትጻፋለች፡፡ ይጠየቃሉም፡፡ | (19) They regard the angels, who are slaves of the Most Compassionate, as female. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be written, and they will be questioned! |
| (20) «አልረሕማንም በሻ ኖሮ ባልተገዛናቸው ነበር» አሉ፡፡ ለእነርሱ በዚህ ምንም ዕውቀት የላቸውም፡፡ እነርሱ የሚዋሹ እንጅ ሌላ አይደሉም፡፡ | (20) They say, “If the Most Compassionate had willed, we would not have worshiped them.” They have no knowledge of that; they do nothing but conjecture. |
| (21) ከእርሱ (ከቁርኣን) በፊት መጽሐፍን ሰጠናቸውን? ስለዚህ እነርሱ እርሱን የጨበጡ ናቸውን? | (21) Or have We given them a Book before this [Qur’an], to which they are holding fast? |
| (22) ከቶውንም «እኛ አባቶቻችንን በሃይማኖት ላይ አገኘናቸው፡፡ እኛም በፈለጎቻቸው ላይ ተመሪዎች ነን» አሉ፡፡ | (22) They rather say, “We found our forefathers on a path, and we are seeking guidance in their footsteps.” |
| (23) (ነገሩ) እንደዚሁም ነው፡፡ ከበፊትህ በማንኛይቱም ከተማ ውስጥ አስፈራሪን አልላክንም፤ ቅምጥሎችዋ እኛ አባቶቻችንን በሃይማኖት ላይ አገኘን፤ እኛም በፈለጎቻቸው ላይ ተከታዮች ነን ያሉ ቢኾኑ እንጅ፡፡ | (23) Likewise, We never sent any warner to a town before you except that its affluent ones said, “We found our forefathers on a path, and we are following their footsteps.” |
| (24) (አስፈራሪው) «አባቶቻችሁን በእርሱ ላይ ከአገኛችሁበት ይበልጥ ቀጥተኛን (ሃይማኖት) ባመጣላችሁም?» አላቸው፡፡ «እኛ በእርሱ በተላካችሁበት ነገር ከሓዲዎች ነን» አሉ፡፡ | (24) [The warner] said, “Even if I bring you a better guidance than what you have found your forefathers upon?” They said, “We totally reject what you [prophets] have been sent with.” |
| (25) ከእነርሱም ተበቀልን፡፡ ያስተባባዮቹም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ተመልከት፡፡ | (25) So We took revenge from them; see what was the end of the deniers! |
| (26) ኢብራሂምም ለአባቱና ለሕዝቦቹ ባለ ጊዜ (አስታውስ)፡፡ «እኔ ከምትግገዙት ሁሉ ንጹሕ ነኝ፡፡» | (26) And [remember] when Abraham said to his father and his people, “I disown all that you worship, |
| (27) «ከዚያ ከፈጠረኝ በስተቀር (አልግገዛም)፡፡ እርሱ በእርግጥ ይመራኛልና፡፡» | (27) except the One Who created me; He will surely guide me.” |
| (28) በዝርዮቹም ውስጥ ይመለሱ ዘንድ (ባንድ አምላክ ማመንን) ቀሪ ቃል አደረጋት፡፡ | (28) And he made it a lasting word among his descendants, so that they may return [to Allah]. |
| (29) ይልቅ እነዚህን (ቁረይሾችን)፣ አባቶቻቸውንም ቁርኣንና ገላጭ መልክተኛ እስከመጣላቸው ድረስ አጣቀምኳቸው፡፡ | (29) However, I let these [Makkans] and their forefathers enjoy their lives, until there came to them the truth and a clear messenger. |
| (30) እውነቱም በመጣላቸው ጊዜ «ይህ ድግምት ነው፡፡ እኛም በእርሱ ከሓዲዎች ነን» አሉ፡፡ | (30) But when the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic, and we definitely reject it.” |
| (31) «ይህም ቁርኣን ከሁለቱ ከተሞች በታላቅ ሰው ላይ አይወረድም ኖሯልን?» አሉ፡፡ | (31) And they said, “Why was this Qur’an not sent down to a great man from one of the two towns?” |
| (32) እነርሱ የጌታህን ችሮታ ያከፈፍላሉን? እኛ በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ኑሯቸውን በመካከላቸው አከፋፍለናል፡፡ ከፊላቸውም ከፊሉን ሠራተኛ አድርጎ ይይዝ ዘንድ ከፊላቸውን ከከፊሉ በላይ በደረጃዎች (በሀብት) አበለጥን፡፡ የጌታህም ጸጋ (ገነት) ከሚሰበስቡት (ሃብት) በላጨ ናት፡፡ | (32) Is it they who distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We Who have distributed their livelihood among them in the life of this world, and have raised some of them above others in ranks, so that they may serve one another. But the mercy of your Lord is better than what they accumulate. |
| (33) ሰዎችም (በክሕደት) አንድ ሕዝብ የሚኾኑ ባልነበሩ ኖሮ በአልረሕማን ፤ለሚክዱት ሰዎች (በዚህች ዓለም) ለቤቶቻቸው ከብር የኾኑን ጣራዎች በእነርሱ ላይ የሚወጡባቸውንም (የብር) መሰላሎች ባደረግንላቸው ነበር፡፡ | (33) Were it not that all people might become a single community [of disbelievers], We would have given those who disbelieve in the Most Compassionate houses of sliver roofs and staircases to ascend, |
| (34) ለቤቶቻቸውም ደጃፎችን በእነርሱ ላይ የሚደገፉባቸውንም አልጋዎች (ከብር ባደረግንላቸው ነበር)፡፡ | (34) and their houses having [silver] doors and couches on which they recline, |
| (35) የወርቅ ጌጥንም (ባደረግንላቸው ነበር)፡፡ ይህም ሁሉ የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መጣቀሚያ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም፤ (ጠፊ ነው)፡፡ መጨረሻይቱም አገር በጌታህ ዘንድ ለጥንቁቆቹ ናት፡፡ | (35) and [golden] ornaments. But all of these are mere enjoyments of the life of this world, and the Hereafter with your Lord is [only] for those who fear Allah. |
| (36) ከአልረሕማን ግሣጼ (ከቁርኣን) የሚደናበርም ሰው ለእርሱ ሰይጣንን እናስጠጋለን፡፡ ስለዚህ እርሱ ለእርሱ ቁራኛ ነው፡፡ | (36) Whoever turns away from the Reminder of the Most Compassionate [the Qur’an], We assign to him a devil to be his close associate, |
| (37) እነርሱም (ተደናባሪዎቹ) ተመሪዎች መኾናቸውን የሚያስቡ ሲኾኑ እነርሱ (ሰይጣናት) ከቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ያግዷቸዋል፡፡ | (37) who will surely avert them from the [right] way, while they think that they are rightly guided. |
| (38) (በትንሣኤ) ወደኛ በመጣም ጊዜ (ቁራኛዬ ሆይ!) «በእኔና ባንተ መካከል የምሥራቅና የምዕራብ ርቀት በኖረ ወይ ምኞቴ! ምን የከፋህ ቁራኛ ነህ» ይላል፡፡ | (38) Then when he comes to Us, he will say [to his devil associate], “I wish you were as distant from me as the east and west. What a terrible associate [you were]!” |
| (39) ስለ በደላችሁም ዛሬ እናንተ በቅጣት ተጋሪዎች መኾናችሁ አይጠቅማችሁም፤ (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (39) [They will be told], “As you have done wrong, it will not benefit you Today that you are sharing the punishment.” |
| (40) አንተ ደንቆሮዎችን ታሰማለህን? ወይስ ዕውሮችንና በግልጽ ጥመት ውስጥ የኾኑን ሰዎች ትመራለህን? | (40) Can you make the deaf hear, or guide the blind or the one who is clearly misguided? |
| (41) አንተንም (ቅጣታቸውን ስታይ) ብንወስድህ እኛ ከእነርሱ ተበቃዮች ነን፡፡ | (41) Either We take you away [in death], We will surely exact retribution upon them, |
| (42) ወይም ያንን የቀጠርናቸውን ብናሳይህ እኛ በእነርሱ (ቅጣት) ላይ ቻይዎች ነን፡፡ | (42) or We will show you what We warned them of, for We have full power over them. |
| (43) ያንንም ወደ አንተ የተወረደልህን አጥብቀህ ያዝ፡፡ አንተ በቀጥተኛው መንገድ ላይ ነህና፡፡ | (43) So hold fast to what is revealed to you. You are indeed on a straight path. |
| (44) እርሱም (ቁርኣን) ለአንተ፣ ለሕዘቦችህም ታላቅ ክብር ነው፡፡ ወደ ፊትም (ከርሱ) ትጠየቃላችሁ፡፡ | (44) Indeed, this [Qur’an] is a reminder for you and your people, and surely you will [all] be questioned. |
| (45) ከመልእክተኞቻችንም ካንተ በፊት የላክናቸውን (ተከታዮቻቸውን) ከአልረሕማን ሌላ የሚገዙዋቸው የኾኑን አማልክት አድርገን እንደ ኾነ ጠይቃቸው፡፡ | (45) Ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before you: Did We appoint gods to be worshiped besides the Most Compassionate? |
| (46) ሙሳንም በተዓምራቶቻችን ወደ ፈርዖንና ወደ ሹማምንቶቹ በእርግጥ ላክን፡፡ «እኔ የዓለማት ጌታ መልክተኛ ነኝ» አላቸውም፡፡ | (46) Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his courtiers, so he said: “I am a messenger of the Lord of the worlds.” |
| (47) በተዓምራታችንም በመጣባቸው ጊዜ ወዲያውኑ እነርሱ በእርሷ ይስቃሉ፡፡ | (47) But as soon as he came to them with Our signs, they laughed at them. |
| (48) ከተዓምርም አንዲትንም አናሳያቸውም እርሷ ከብጤዋ በጣም የበለጠች ብትኾን እንጅ፡፡ (ከክህደታቸው) ይመለሱም ዘንድ በቅጣት ያዝናቸው፡፡ | (48) Every sign We showed them was greater than the one before it, and We seized them with punishment so that they may turn in repentance. |
| (49) «አንተ ድግምተኛ (ዐዋቂ) ሆይ! ጌታህን አንተ ዘንድ ቃል በገባልህ ለእኛ ለምንልን፡፡ እኛ (ቅጣቱን ቢያነሳልን) ተመሪዎች ነን» አሉም፡፡ | (49) They said, “O magician, call upon your Lord for us, by virtue of the covenant He has made with you; we will surely accept guidance.” |
| (50) ስቃዩን ከእነርሱ ላይ በገለጥንም ጊዜ ወዲያውኑ ኪዳናቸውን ያፈርሳሉ፡፡ | (50) But as soon We removed the punishment from them, they broke their promise. |
| (51) ፈርዖንም በሕዝቦቹ ውስጥ ተጣራ፡፡ አለም፤ «ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! የምስር ግዛት የኔ አይደለምን? እነዚህም ጅረቶች ከስሬ የሚፈሱ ሲኾኑ (የኔ አይደሉምን?) አትመለከቱምን? | (51) Pharaoh proclaimed to his people, “O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these streams flowing at my feet? Do you not see? |
| (52) «በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ፡፡ | (52) Or am I not better than this contemptible one who can hardly express himself? |
| (53) «በእርሱም ላይ የወርቅ አንባሮች ለምን አልተጣሉበትም ወይም መላእክት ከእርሱ ጋር ተቆራኝተው ለምን አልመጡም» (አለ)፡፡ | (53) Then why are there not sent down upon him bracelets of gold or come with him angels to support him?” |
| (54) ሕዝቦቹንም አቄላቸው፡፡ ታዘዙትም፡፡ እነርሱ አመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ነበሩና፡፡ | (54) Thus he made a fool of his people and they obeyed him. They were indeed a wicked people. |
| (55) ባስቆጡንም ጊዜ ከእነርሱ በተበቀለን፡፡ ሁሉንም አሰጠምናቸውም፡፡ | (55) When they angered Us, We exacted Our retribution and drowned them all, |
| (56) (በጥፋት) ቀዳሚዎችና ለኋለኞቹ (መቀጣጫ) ምሳሌም አደረግናቸው፡፡ | (56) Thus We made them a precedent and an example for the later generations. |
| (57) የመርየም ልጅም ምሳሌ በተደረገ ጊዜ ሕዝቦችህ (ከሓዲዎቹ) ወዲያውኑ ከእርሱ ይስቃሉ፡፡ | (57) When the example of the son of Mary was given, your people laughed and jeered, |
| (58) «አማልክቶቻችን ይበልጣሉን ወይስ እርሱ?» አሉም፡፡ ለክርክርም እንጅ ላንተ እርሱን ምሳሌ አላደረጉትም፡፡ በእውነት እነርሱ ክርክረ ብርቱ ሕዝቦች ናቸው፡፡ | (58) and they said, “Are Our gods better or he?” They only mentioned him to you for the sake of argument. They are indeed a contentious people. |
| (59) እርሱ በርሱ ላይ የለገስንለት ለእስራኤለም ልጆች ተዓምር ያደረግነው የኾነ ባሪያ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ | (59) He was only a slave whom We favored and made him an example for the Children of Israel. |
| (60) ብንሻም ኖሮ በምድር ላይ ከእናነተ ምትክ መላእክትን ባደረግን ነበር፡፡ | (60) If We willed, We could [destroy you and] replace you with angels, succeeding one another on earth. |
| (61) እርሱም (ዒሳ) ለሰዓቲቱ (ማወቂያ) በእርግጥ ምልክት ነው፡፡ «በእርሷም አትጠራጠሩ፡፡ ተከተሉኝም፤ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው» (በላቸው)፡፡ | (61) And he [Jesus] will be a sign of the Hour; so do not have doubt about it and follow me. This is a straight path. |
| (62) ሰይጣንም አያግዳችሁ፡፡ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና፡፡ | (62) Do not let Satan turn you away [from the straight path], for he is your sworn enemy. |
| (63) ዒሳ በታምራቶች በመጣ ጊዜም አላቸው «በእርግጥ በጥበብ መጣኋችሁ፡፡ የዚያንም በርሱ የምትለያዩበትን ከፊሉን ለናንተ ላብራራላችሁ (መጣሁ)፡፡ አላህንም ፍሩ፡፡ ታዘዙኝም፡፡ | (63) When Jesus came with clear signs, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify to you some of that concerning which you differ; so fear Allah and obey me. |
| (64) «አላህ ጌታዬ ጌታችሁም ነውና ተገዙት፡፡ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው፡፡» | (64) Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him. This is a straight path.” |
| (65) ከመካከላቸውም አሕዛቦቹ ተለያዩ፡፡ ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት ከአሳማሚ ቀን ቅጣት ወዮላቸው፡፡ | (65) But the factions differed among themselves [about Jesus]; so woe to the wrongdoers from the punishment of a painful Day! |
| (66) ሰዓቲቱን እነርሱ የማያውቁ ኾነው በድንገት ልትመጣባቸው እንጅ ይጠባበቃሉን? | (66) Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them by surprise when they least expect it? |
| (67) ወዳጆች በዚያ ቀን ከፊላቸው ለከፊሉ ጠላት ነው፡፡ አላህን ፈሪዎች ብቻ ሲቀሩ፡፡ | (67) On that Day, close friends will become enemies to one another, except the righteous, |
| (68) (ለነርሱስ) «ባሮቼ ሆይ! ዛሬ ቀን በእናንተ ላይ ፍርሃት የለባችሁም እናንተም የምታዝኑ አይደላችሁም» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (68) [It will be said to them], “O My slaves, there is no fear for you Today, nor will you grieve, |
| (69) እነዚያ በአንቀጾቻችን ያመኑና ፍጹም ታዛዦች የነበሩ (ባሮቼ ሆይ!) | (69) [those] who believed in Our verses and submitted [to Us as Muslims]. |
| (70) «ገነትን ግቡ እናንተም ሚስቶቻችሁም ትደሰታላችሁ ትከበሩም አላችሁ» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (70) Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, rejoicing in bliss.” |
| (71) ከወርቅ የኾኑ ሰፋፊ ዝርግ ሳሕኖችና ኩባያዎች በእነርሱ ላይ ይዝዞራሉ፡፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ነፍሶች የሚከጅሉት፣ ዓይኖችም የሚደሰቱበት ሁሉ አልለ፡፡ እናንተም በውስጧ ዘላለም ዘውታሪዎች ናችሁ፡፡ | (71) Golden trays and cups will be passed around among them; there will be all that souls desire and eyes delight in, and you will abide therein forever. |
| (72) ይህችም ያቺ ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ዋጋ የተሰጣችኋት ገነት ናት፡፡ | (72) That is Paradise which you will inherit for what you used to do. |
| (73) ለእናንተ በውስጧ ብዙ ፍረፍሬዎች በእርግጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (73) You will have therein abundant fruit to eat from. |
| (74) አመጸኞች በገሀነም ስቃይ ውስጥ በእርግጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (74) Indeed, the wicked will be in the punishment of Hell forever. |
| (75) ከእነርሱ (ቅጣቱ) አይቀለልላቸውም፡፡ እነርሱም በእርሱ ውስጥ ተሰፋ ቆራጮች ናቸው፡፡ | (75) It will not be lightened for them, and they will remain therein in utter despair. |
| (76) አልበደልናቸውምም፤ ግን በዳዮቹ እነርሱው ነበሩ፡፡ | (76) We did not wrong them, but they themselves were the wrongdoers. |
| (77) «ማሊክ ሆይ! ጌታህ በኛ ላይ (በሞት) ይፍረድ፡፡» እያሉ ይጣራሉም፡፡ «እናንተ (በቅጣቱ ውስጥ) ዘላለም ነዋሪዎች ናችሁ» ይላቸዋል፡፡ | (77) They will cry out, “O Mālik, let your Lord put an end to us!” He will say, “You are here to stay.” |
| (78) እውነተኛውን መንገድ በእርግጥ አመጣንላችሁ፡፡ ግን አብዛኞቻችሁ እውነቱን ጠይዎች ናችሁ፡፡ | (78) We surely brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth. |
| (79) ይልቁንም (በነቢዩ ላይ በማደም) ነገርን አጠነከሩን? እኛም (ተንኮላቸውን ወደእነርሱ በመመለስ) አጠንካሪዎች ነን፡፡ | (79) Have they devised a plan? We too have devised a plan. |
| (80) ወይም እኛ ምስጢራቸውንና ውይይታቸውን የማንሰማ መኾናችንን ያስባሉን? አይደለም፤ መልክተኞቻችንም እነርሱ ዘንድ ይጽፋሉ፡፡ | (80) Do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and private counsels? Yes indeed, and Our angel-messengers are with them recording everything. |
| (81) «ለአልረሕማን ልጅ (የለውም እንጅ) ቢኖረው እኔ (ለልጁ) የተገዢዎቹ መጀመሪያ ነኝ» በላቸው፡፡ | (81) Say, “If the Most Compassionate truly had a son, I would be the first of [his] worshipers.” |
| (82) የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ የዙፋኑ ጌታ ከሚሉት ነገር ሁሉ ጠራ፡፡ | (82) Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and earth, Lord of the Throne, far above what they ascribe [to Him]. |
| (83) ተዋቸውም፡፡ ያንን ይስፈራሩበት የነበሩትን ቀናቸውን እስከሚገናኙ ድረስ (በስሕተታቸው ውስጥ) ይዋኙ ይጫዎቱም፡፡ | (83) So leave them to indulge in falsehood and amuse themselves until they meet their Day that they are promised. |
| (84) እርሱም ያ በሰማይ ውስጥ ሊግገዙት የሚገባው በምድርም ውስጥ ሊግገዙት የሚገባው አምላክ ነው፡፡ እርሱም ብልሃተኛው ዐዋቂው ነው፡፡ | (84) It is He Who is God in the heaven and God on earth, and He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing. |
| (85) ያም የሰማያትና የምድር በመካከላቸውም ያለው ሁሉ ንግሥና የእርሱ ብቻ የኾነው አምላክ ላቀ፡፡ የሰዓቲቱም (የመምጫዋ ዘመን) ዕውቀት እርሱ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ወደእርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ፡፡ | (85) Blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. With Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be returned. |
| (86) እነዚያም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚግገዟቸው እነርሱ የሚያውቁ ኾነው በእውነት ከመሰከሩት በስተቀር ምልጃን አይችሉም፡፡ | (86) Those whom they supplicate besides Him have no power to intercede, except those who testify to the truth on the basis of knowledge. |
| (87) ማን እንደፈጠራቸውም ብትጠይቃቸው «በእርግጥ አላህ ነው» ይላሉ፡፡ ታዲያ (ከእምነት) ወዴት ይዞራሉ፡፡ | (87) If you ask them who created them, they will surely say, “Allah.” How are they then deluded? |
| (88) (ነቢዩ) ጌታዬ ሆይ! እነዚህ የማያምኑ ሕዝቦች ናቸው፤ የማለቱም (ዕውቀት አላህ ዘንድ ነው)፡፡ | (88) [The Prophet] said: “O my Lord, indeed, these are a people who do not believe.” |
| (89) እነርሱንም ተዋቸው፡፡ ነገሬ ሰላም ነው በልም፡፡ ወደፊትም (የሚመጣባቸውን) ያውቃሉ፡፡ | (89) So turn away from them and say, “Peace.” They will come to know. |
