23 – Al-Muminoon
| (1) ምእምናን ፍላጎታቸውን ሁሉ በእርግጥ አገኙ (ዳኑ)፡፡ | (1) The believers have attained true success: |
| (2) እነዚያ እነርሱ በስግደታቸው ውስጥ (አላህን) ፈሪዎች፡፡ | (2) those who humble themselves in their prayers, |
| (3) እነዚያም እነርሱ ከውድቅ ንግግር ራቂዎች፡፡ | (3) and those who turn away from all that is vain, |
| (4) እነዚያም እነርሱ ዘካን ሰጭዎች፡፡ | (4) and those who give zakah, |
| (5) እነዚያም እነርሱ ብልቶቻቸውን ጠባቂዎች የሆኑት (አገኙ)፡፡ | (5) and those who guard their sexual desires, |
| (6) በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዟቸው (ባሪያዎች) ላይ ሲቀር፡፡ እነርሱ (በነዚህ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና፡፡ | (6) except with their wives or slave women they may own, for then they are free of blame. |
| (7) ከዚህም ወዲያ የፈለጉ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (7) But whoever seeks anything beyond that, it is they who are the transgressors. |
| (8) እነዚያም እነርሱ ለአደራዎቻቸውና ለቃል ኪዳናቸው ጠባቂዎች፡፡ | (8) And those who are faithful to their trusts and pledges, |
| (9) እነዚያም እነሱ በስግደቶቻቸው ላይ የሚጠባበቁ የኸኑት (አገኙ)፡፡ | (9) and those who properly observe their prayers. |
| (10) እነዚያ ወራሾቹ እነርሱ ናቸው፡፡ | (10) Such will be the inheritors, |
| (11) እነዚያ ፊርደውስን (ላዕላይ ገነትን)፤ የሚወርሱ ናቸው፡፡ እነርሱ በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (11) who will inherit Paradise; they will abide therein forever. |
| (12) በእርግጥም ሰውን ከነጠረ ጭቃ ፈጠርነው፡፡ | (12) We created man from an extract of clay, |
| (13) ከዚያም በተጠበቀ መርጊያ ውስጥ የፍትወት ጠብታ አደረግነው፡፡ | (13) then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a safe place, |
| (14) ከዚያም ጠብታዋን (በአርባ ቀን) የረጋ ደም አድርገን ፈጠርን፡፡ የረጋውንም ደም ቁራጭ ሥጋ አድርገን ፈጠርን፡፡ ቁራጯንም ሥጋ አጥንቶች አድርገን ፈጠርን፡፡ አጥንቶቹንም ሥጋን አለበስናቸው፡፡ ከዚያም (ነፍስን በመዝራት) ሌላ ፍጥረትን አድርገን አስገኘነው፡፡ ከሰዓሊዎችም ሁሉ በላጭ የሆነው አላህ ላቀ፡፡ | (14) then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, then We made the clinging clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, and We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We developed it into another creation. So Blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators. |
| (15) ከዚያም እናንተ ከዚህ በኋላ በእርግጥ ሟቾች ናችሁ፡፡ | (15) Then after that you will surely die, |
| (16) ከዚያም እናንተ በትንሣኤ ቀን ትቀሰቀሳላችሁ፡፡ | (16) then on the Day of Resurrection you will surely be resurrected. |
| (17) በእርግጥም ከበላያችሁ ሰባትን ሰማያት ፈጠርን፡፡ ከፍጥረቶቹም ዘንጊዎች አይደለንም፡፡ | (17) We have created above you seven levels [of heaven], and We have never been unaware of Our creation. |
| (18) ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን፡፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው፡፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን፡፡ | (18) We send down water from the sky in due measure and cause it to stay in the earth, and We are surely able to take it away. |
| (19) በእርሱም ከዘምባባዎችና ከወይኖች የኾኑን አትክልቶች ለእናንተ አስገኘንላችሁ፡፡ በውስጧ ለእናንተ ብዙ ፍራፍሬዎች አሏችሁ፡፡ ከእርሷም ትበላላችሁ፡፡ | (19) With this [water] We produce for you gardens of palm trees and grapevines, in which there are many fruits from which you eat, |
| (20) ከሲና ተራራም የምትወጣን ዛፍ በቅባትና ለበይዎችም መባያ በሚኾን (ዘይት) ተቀላቅላ የምትበቅልን (አስገኘንላችሁ)፡፡ | (20) and [olive] tree that grows at Mount Sinai, producing oil and condiment for those who eat. |
| (21) ለእናንተም በግመል፣ በከብት፣ በፍየልና በበግ መገምገሚያ አልላችሁ፡፡ በሆዶችዋ ውስጥ ካለው (ወተት) እናጠጣችኋለን፡፡ ለእናንተም በእርሷ ብዙ ጥቅሞች አሏችሁ፡፡ ከእርሷም ትበላላችሁ፡፡ | (21) And there is certainly a lesson for you in livestock animals. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies, and for you there are many benefits in them, and from their [meat] you eat, |
| (22) በእርሷም ላይ በመርከብም ላይ ትጫናላችሁ፡፡ | (22) and on them and on boats you are carried. |
| (23) ኑሕንም ወደ ሕዝቦቹ በእርግጥ ላክነው፡፡ ወዲያውም «ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ አትጠነቀቁምን» አላቸው፡፡ | (23) We sent Noah to his people. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Will you not then fear Him?” |
| (24) ከሕዝቦቹም እነዚያ ታላላቆቹ ሰዎች አሉ «ይህ ብጤያችሁ ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ በእናንተ ላይ መብለጥን ይፈልጋል፡፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ መላእክትን ባወረደ ነበር፡፡ ይህንንም (የሚለውን) በመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻችን አልሰማንም፡፡ | (24) The disbelieving chiefs of his people said, “This is only a man like yourselves who wants to be superior to you. If Allah had willed, He could have sent down angels. We have not heard such a thing from our forefathers. |
| (25) «እርሱ በእርሱ ዕብደት ያለበት ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ በእርሱም እስከ ጊዜ (ሞቱ) ድረስ ተጠባበቁ» (አሉ)፡፡ | (25) He is just a madman, so bear with him for a while.” |
| (26) (ኑሕም) «ጌታዬ ሆይ! ባስተባበሉኝ ምክንያት እርዳኝ» አለ፡፡ | (26) Noah said, “My Lord, help me, for they have rejected me.” |
| (27) ወደርሱም (እንዲህ ስንል) ላክን «በተመልካችነታችንና በትእዛዛችንም ታንኳን ሥራ በመጣና እቶኑ በፈለቀ ጊዜ በውስጧ ከሁሉም ሁለት ዓይነቶችን ቤተሰቦችህንም ከነሱ (ጠፊ በመኾን) ቃል ያለፈበት ብቻ ሲቀር፤ አግባ፡፡ በእነዚያም በበደሉት ሰዎች ነገር አታነጋግረኝ፡፡ እነሱ ተሰጣሚዎች ነቸውና፡፡ | (27) So We inspired him [saying], “Make the Ark under Our Eyes and according to Our directions. Then when Our command comes and the oven bursts with water, take on board a pair of each species and your family, except those against whom the decree has already been passed. And do not plead with Me concerning those who have done wrong, for they will surely be drowned.” |
| (28) አንተም አብረውህ ካሉት ጋር በታንኳይቱ ላይ በተደላደልክ ጊዜ «ምስጋና ለዚያ ከበደለኞች ሕዝቦች ላዳነን አላህ ይገባው» በል፡፡ | (28) Then when you and those who are with you have embarked on the Ark, say, “All praise is for Allah, Who saved us from the wrongdoing people.” |
| (29) በልም «ጌታዬ ሆይ! ብሩክ የኾነን ማውረድ አውርደኝ፡፡ አንተም ከአውራጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ፡፡» | (29) And say: “My Lord, make my landing a blessed landing, for You provide the best landing’”. |
| (30) በዚህ ውስጥ (ለከሃሊነታችን) ምልከቶች አልሉበት፡፡ እነሆ! (የኑሕን ሰዎች) በእርግጥም ፈትታኞች ነበርን፡፡ | (30) Indeed, there are signs in this, and We always put people to test. |
| (31) ከዚያም ከኋላቸው ሌሎችን የክፍለ ዘመን ሕዝቦች አስገኘን፡፡ | (31) Then We raised up after them another generation, |
| (32) በውስጣቸውም ከእነሱ የኾነን መልክተኛ አላህን ተገዙ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የላችሁም አትጠነቀቁምን በማለት ላክን፡፡ | (32) and We sent to them a messenger from among themselves [saying], “Worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Will you not then fear Him?” |
| (33) ከሕዝቦቹም እነዚያ የካዱት በመጨረሻይቱም ቀን መገናኘት ያስተባበሉት በቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ያቀማጠልናቸው ታላላቅ ሰዎች «ይህ ብጤያችሁ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ ከርሱ ከምትበሉት ምግብ ይበላል፡፡ ከምትጠጡትም ውሃ ይጠጣል» አሉ፡፡ | (33) But the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made affluent in the life of this world, said, “He is no more than a man like yourselves; he eats what you eat and drinks what you drink. |
| (34) «ብጤያችሁም የኾነን ሰው ብትታዘዙ እናንተ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ የተሞኛችሁ ናቸሁ» (አሉ)፡፡ | (34) If you obey a man like yourselves, you will surely be losers. |
| (35) «እናንተ በሞታችሁና ዐፈርና አጥንቶችም በኾናችሁ ጊዜ እናንተ (ከመቃብር) ትወጣላችሁ በማለት ያስፈራራችኋልን | (35) Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones, that you will be brought forth? |
| (36) «ያ የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ራቀ፤ በጣም ራቀ፡፡ | (36) Far-fetched, utterly far-fetched is what you are promised! |
| (37) «እርሷ (ሕይወት) ቅርቢቱ ሕይወታችን እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም፡፡ እንሞታለን፤ (ልጆቻችን ስለሚተኩ) ሕያውም እንኾናለን፡፡ እኛም ተቀስቃሾች አይደለንም፡፡ | (37) There is nothing except our life of this world; we die, others are born, and none will be resurrected. |
| (38) «እርሱ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን የቀጠፈ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም፡፡ እኛም ለእርሱ አማኞች አይደለንም» (አሉ)፡፡ | (38) He is no more than a man who has fabricated lies about Allah, and we will never believe in him.” |
| (39) (መልክተኛውም) «ጌታዬ ሆይ! ስላስተባበሉኝ እርዳኝ» አለ፡፡ | (39) Noah said, “My Lord, help me for they have rejected me.” |
| (40) (አላህም) «ከጥቂት ጊዜ በኋላ (በጥፋታቸው) በእርግጥ ተጸጻቾች ይኾናሉ» አለው፡፡ | (40) Allah said, “In a little while they will surely be regretful.” |
| (41) ወዲያውም (የጥፋት) ጩኸቲቱ በእውነት ያዘቻቸው፡፡ እንደ ጎርፍ ግብስባሽም አደረግናቸው፡፡ ለበደለኞች ሕዝቦችም (ከእዝነት) መራቅ ተገባቸው፡፡ | (41) So the huge blast overtook them in all justice, and We swept them away like scum. So away with the wrongdoing people! |
| (42) ከዚያም ከእነሱ በኋላ ሌሎችን የክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች አስገኘን፡፡ | (42) Then We raised after them other generations. |
| (43) ማንኛይቱም ሕዝብ ጊዜያዋን አትቀድምም፤ አይቅቆዩምም፡፡ | (43) No nation can bring its appointed time forward, nor can they delay it. |
| (44) ከዚያም መልክተኞቻችንን የሚከታተሉ ኾነው ላክን፡፡ ማንኛይቱንም ሕዝብ መልክተኛዋ በመጣላት ቁጥር አስተባበሉት፡፡ ከፊላቸውንም በከፊሉ (በጥፋት) አስከታተለን፡፡ ወሬዎችም አደረግናቸው፡፡ ለማያምኑም ሕዝቦች (ከእዝነታችን) መራቅ ተገባቸው፡፡ | (44) Then We sent Our messengers in succession: every time a messenger came to his people, they rejected him. So We destroyed them, one after the others, and made them mere tales. Away with the people who refuse to believe! |
| (45) ከዚያም ሙሳንና ወንድሙን ሃሩንን በተዓምራታችንና በግልጽ አስረጅ ላክን፡፡ | (45) Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and compelling proof |
| (46) ወደ ፈርዖንና ወደ ጭፍሮቹ (ላክናቸው)፡፡ ኮሩም፡፡ የተንበጣረሩ ሕዝቦችም ነበሩ፡፡ | (46) to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they showed arrogance and were haughty people. |
| (47) «ብጤያችንም ለኾኑ ሁለት ሰዎች ሕዝቦቻቸው ለእኛ ተገዢዎች ኾነው ሳሉ እናምናለን» አሉ፡፡ | (47) They said, “Should we believe in two men like ourselves, when their people are our slaves?” |
| (48) አስተባበሉዋቸውም፡፡ ከጠፊዎቹም ኾኑ፡፡ | (48) So they rejected them both, and were among those who were destroyed. |
| (49) ሙሳንም (ነገዶቹ) ይምመሩ ዘንድ መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው፡፡ | (49) We gave Moses the Scripture so that they might be guided. |
| (50) የመርየምን ልጅና እናቱንም ተዓምር አደረግናቸው፡፡ የመደላደልና የምንጭ ባለቤት ወደ ኾነች ከፍተኛ ስፍራም አስጠጋናቸው፡፡ | (50) We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and sheltered them on a hillside – a place of rest and a flowing stream. |
| (51) እናንተ መልክተኞች ሆይ! ከተፈቀዱት ምግቦች ብሉ፡፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ፡፡ እኔ የምተሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነኝ፡፡ | (51) O messengers, eat from the lawful things and act righteously, for I am All-Knowing of what you do. |
| (52) ይህችም (በአንድ አምላክ የማመን ሕግጋት) አንድ መንገድ ስትኾን ሃይማኖታችሁ ናት፡፡ እኔም ጌታችሁ ነኝና ፍሩኝ፡፡ | (52) Indeed, this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. |
| (53) (ከዚያ ተከታዮቻቸው) የሃይማኖት ነገራቸውንም በመካከላቸው ክፍልፍሎች አድርገው ቆራረጡ፡፡ ሕዝብ ሁሉ እነርሱ ዘንድ ባለው ሃይማኖት ተደሳቾች ናቸው፡፡ | (53) But people split up their religion into factions, each faction rejoicing in what it has. |
| (54) እስከ ጊዜያቸውም ድረስ በጥምመታቸው ውስጥ ተዋቸው፡፡ | (54) So leave them in their heedlessness for a while. |
| (55) ከገንዘብና ከልጆች በእርሱ የምንጨምርላቸውን ያስባሉን | (55) Do they think that what We give them wealth and children, |
| (56) በበጎ ነገሮች የምንቻኮልላቸው መኾንን (ያስባሉን) አይደለም፤ (ለማዘንጋት መኾኑን) አያውቁም፡፡ | (56) that We hasten to them all that is good? No, but they do not perceive it. |
| (57) እነዚያ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን ከመፍራት የተነሳ ተጨናቂዎች የኾኑት፡፡ | (57) Those who are in awe for fear of their Lord, |
| (58) እነዚያም እነርሱ በጌታቸው ተዓምራቶች ከሚያምኑት፡፡ | (58) and those who believe in the verses of their Lord, |
| (59) እነዚያም እነርሱ በጌታቸው (ጣዖትን) የማያጋሩት፡፡ | (59) and those who do not associate partners with their Lord, |
| (60) እነዚያም የሚሰጡትን ነገር እነርሱ ወደ ጌታቸው ተመላሾች መኾናቸውን ልቦቻቸው የሚፈሩ ኾነው የሚሰጡት፡፡ | (60) and those who do whatever [good] they do with their hearts fearful, knowing that they will return to their Lord – |
| (61) እነዚያ በመልካም ሥራዎች ይጣደፋሉ፡፡ እነሱም ለርሷ ቀዳሚዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (61) it is they who hasten to do good deeds, and they are foremost in them. |
| (62) ማንኛይቱንም ነፍስ ችሎታዋን እንጂ አናስገድዳትም፡፡ እኛም ዘንድ በእውነት የሚናገር መጽሐፍ አልለ፡፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም፡፡ | (62) We do not burden a soul more than what it can bear. We have a Record [of their deeds] that tells the truth, and none will be wronged. |
| (63) በእውነቱ (ከሓዲዎች) ልቦቻቸው ከዚያ (መጽሐፍ) በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ ለእነሱም ከዚህ ሌላ እነሱ ለርሷ ሠሪዎችዋ የኾኑ (መጥፎ) ሥራዎች አሏቸው፡፡ | (63) But their hearts are oblivious of this [Qur’an], and they have other [evil] deeds that they are doing. |
| (64) ቅምጥሎቻቸውንም በቅጣት በያዝናቸው ጊዜ ወዲያውኑ እነርሱ ይወተውታሉ፡፡ | (64) Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, they start crying for help. |
| (65) ዛሬ አትወትውቱ፤ እናንተ ከእኛ ዘንድ አትረዱም፡፡ | (65) “Do not cry for help today, for you will receive no help from Us. |
| (66) አንቀጾቹ በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ይነበቡላችሁ ነበር፡፡ በተረከዞቻችሁም ላይ ወደ ኋላችሁ ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ፡፡ | (66) My verses were recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, |
| (67) በእርሱ (በክልሉ ቤት) ኩሩዎች ሌሊት ተጫዋቾች (ቁርኣንንም) የምትተው ኾናችሁ (ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (67) feeling proud of this [Sacred House], spending night in evil talks [about the Qur’an].” |
| (68) (የቁርኣንን) ንግግሩንም አያስተነትኑምን ወይስ ለመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻቸው ያልመጣ ነገር መጣባቸውን | (68) Have they not pondered the Words [of Allah], or has there come to them what did not come to their forefathers? |
| (69) ወይስ መልክተኛቸውን አላወቁምን ስለዚህ እነርሱ ለእርሱ ከሓዲዎች ናቸውን | (69) Or is it that they do not recognize their Messenger, so they deny him? |
| (70) ወይስ በእርሱ ዕብደት አለበት ይላሉን አይደለም፡፡ እውነትን ይዞ መጣላቸው፡፡ አብዛኞቻቸውም እውነትን ጠይዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (70) Or do they say, “There is madness in him?” Rather, he has come to them with the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. |
| (71) አላህም ዝንባሌዎቻቸውን በተከተለ ኖሮ ሰማያትና ምድር በውስጣቸውም ያለው ሁሉ በእርግጥ በተበላሸ ነበር፡፡ ይልቁንም ክብራቸው ያለበትን ቁርኣን አመጣንላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም ከክብራቸው ዘንጊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (71) Were the Truth to follow their desires, the heavens and earth, and all those who are therein would have been ruined. In fact, We have given them their Reminder, but they are averse to their Reminder. |
| (72) ወይስ ግብርን ትጠይቃቸዋለህን የጌታህም ችሮታ በላጭ ነው፡፡ እርሱም ከሰጪዎች ሁሉ በላጭ ነው፡፡ | (72) Or do you ask them for some reward? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the Best of Providers. |
| (73) አንተም ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ትጠራቸዋለህ፡፡ | (73) Indeed, you are calling them to a straight path, |
| (74) እነዚያም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም የማያምኑት ከትክክለኛው መንገድ ተዘንባዮች ናቸው፡፡ | (74) but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from that path. |
| (75) ባዘንንላቸውና ከጉዳትም በእነርሱ ያለውን ባነሳንላቸው ኖሮ በጥመታቸው ውስጥ የሚዋልሉ ኾነው ይዘወትሩ ነበር፡፡ | (75) Even if We were to show them mercy and relieve their adversity, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. |
| (76) በእርግጥም በቅጣት ያዝናቸው፡፡ ታዲያ ለጌታቸው አልተናነሱም፡፡ አይዋደቁምም፡፡ | (76) We have already seized them with punishment, but they did not humble themselves to their Lord, nor did they supplicate in humility, |
| (77) በእነሱም ላይ የብርቱ ቅጣት ባለቤት የኾነ ደጃፍን በከፈትንባቸው ጊዜ እነርሱ ያን ጊዜ በእርሱ ተስፋ ቆራጮች ናቸው፡፡ | (77) until when We open for them a gateway of a severe punishment, they will be plunged into utter despair. |
| (78) እርሱም ያ መስሚያዎችንና ማያዎችን ልቦችንም ለእናንተ የፈጠረላችሁ ነው፡፡ ጥቂትን እንጅ አታመሰግኑም፡፡ | (78) It is He Who gave you hearing, sight and hearts. How little you give thanks! |
| (79) እርሱም ያ በምድር ውስጥ የበተናችሁ ነው፡፡ ወደርሱም ትሰበሰባላችሁ፡፡ | (79) And it is He Who spread you on earth, and to Him you will all be gathered. |
| (80) እርሱም ያ ሕያው የሚያደርግ የሚገድልም ነው፡፡ የሌሊትና የቀን መተካካትም የእርሱ ነው፡፡ አታውቁምን | (80) It is He Who gives life and causes death, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand? |
| (81) ይልቁንም (የመካ ከሓዲዎች) የፊተኞቹ ሕዝቦች እንዳሉት ብጤ አሉ፡፡ | (81) But they say the like of what the earlier peoples said. |
| (82) «በሞትንና ዐፈርና አጥንቶች በኾን ጊዜ እኛ ተቀስቃሾች ነን» አሉ፡፡ | (82) They say, “Is it that when we die and become dust and bones, will we really be resurrected? |
| (83) «ይህንን እኛም ከእኛ በፊትም የነበሩት አባቶቻችን በእርግጥ ተቀጥረናል፡፡ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ተረቶች እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም» (አሉ)፡፡ | (83) This is what we and our forefathers were promised before; this is nothing but ancient fables.” |
| (84) «ምድርና በውስጥዋ ያለው ሁሉ የማን ነው የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ (ንገሩኝ)» በላቸው፡፡ | (84) Say, “To whom belong the earth and all those who are on it, if you really know?” |
| (85) «በእርግጥ የአላህ ነው» ይሉሃል፡፡ «ታዲያ አትገሰጹምን» በላቸው፡፡ | (85) They will say, “To Allah.” Say, “Will you not then take heed?” |
| (86) «የሰባቱ ሰማያት ጌታና የታላቁ ዐርሽ ጌታ ማን ነው» በላቸው፡፡ | (86) Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Mighty Throne?” |
| (87) «በእርግጥ አላህ ነው» ይሉሃል፡፡ «እንግዲያ አትፈሩትምን» በላቸው፡፡ | (87) They will say, “Allah.” Say, “Will you not then fear Him?” |
| (88) «የነገሩ ሁሉ ግዛት በእጁ የኾነ እርሱ የሚጠብቅ በእርሱ ላይ የማይጠበቅ ማን ነው የምታውቁ እንደኾናችሁ (መልሱልኝ)» በላቸው፡፡ | (88) Say, “In Whose Hand is the dominion of all things – and He gives protection while none can protect against Him – if you really know?” |
| (89) «በእርግጥ አላህ ነው» ይሉሃል፡፡ «ታዲያ እንዴት ትታለላላችሁ» በላቸው፡፡ | (89) They will say, “Allah.” Say, “Then how can you be deluded?” |
| (90) ይልቁንም እውነትን አመጣንላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም (በመካዳቸው) ውሸታሞች ናቸው፡፡ | (90) In fact, We brought them the truth, but they are certainly liars. |
| (91) አላህ ምንም ልጅን አልያዘም (አልወለደም)፡፡ ከእርሱም ጋር አንድም አምላክ የለም፡፡ ያን ጊዜ (ሌላ አምላክ በነበረ) አምላክ ሁሉ በፈጠረው ነገር በተለየ ነበር፡፡ ከፊላቸውም በከፊሉ ለይ በላቀ ነበር፡፡ አላህ ከሚመጥኑት ሁሉ ጠራ፡፡ | (91) Allah has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what he had created, and each would have tried to gain supremacy over the other. Glory be to Allah far above what they ascribe to Him! |
| (92) ሩቁንና ቅርቡንም ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ (በእርሱ) ከሚያጋሩትም ሁሉ ከፍ አለ፡፡ | (92) Knower of the unseen and the seen. Exalted is He far above what they associate with Him! |
| (93) (ሙሐመድ ሆይ!) በል «ጌታዬ ሆይ! የሚያስፈራሩበትን (ቅጣት) ብታሳየኝ፡፡ | (93) Say, “My Lord, if You show me what they are warned of, |
| (94) «ጌታዬ ሆይ! በበደለኞች ሕዝቦች ውስጥ አታድርገኝ፡፡» | (94) my Lord, then do not include me among the wrongdoing people.” |
| (95) እኛም የምናስፈራራቸውን ነገር ልናሳይህ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን፡፡ | (95) We are surely able to show you that of which We have warned them. |
| (96) በዚያች እርስዋ መልካም በኾነችው (ጠባይ) መጥፎይቱን ነገር ገፍትር፡፡ እኛ የሚሉትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂዎች ነን፡፡ | (96) Repel evil with what is best; We know well what they claim. |
| (97) በልም «ጌታዬ ሆ! ከሰይጣናት ጉትተጎታዎች በአንተ እጠበቃለሁ፡፡ | (97) And say, “My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the temptations of the devils. |
| (98) «ባንተም ጌታዬ ሆይ! (በነገሮቼ) ወደእኔ ከመጣዳቸው እጠበቃለሁ፡፡» | (98) And I seek refuge with You, my Lord, that they even come near me.” |
| (99) አንዳቸውንም ሞት በመጣበት ጊዜ እንዲህ ይላል «ጌታዬ ሆይ! (ወደ ምድረ ዓለም) መልሱኝ፡፡ | (99) Until when death comes to one of them, he says, “My Lord, send me back, |
| (100) «በተውኩት ነገር በጎን ሥራ ልሠራ እከጅላለሁና፡፡» (ይህን ከማለት) ይከልከል፡፡ እርስዋ እርሱ ተናጋሪዋ የኾነች ከንቱ ቃል ናት፡፡ ከስተፊታቸውም እስከሚቀሰቀሱበት ቀን ድረስ ግርዶ አልለ፡፡ | (100) so that I may do righteous deeds in what I left behind.” No, it is only a word he utters. And behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. |
| (101) በቀንዱም በተነፋ ጊዜ በዚያ ቀን በመካከላቸው ዝምድና የለም፡፡ አይጠያየቁምም፡፡ | (101) When the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship ties between them on that Day, nor will they ask about one another. |
| (102) ሚዛኖቹም የከበዱለት ሰው እነዚያ እነርሱ ፍላጎታቸውን ያገኙ ናቸው፡፡ | (102) So those whose scales [of good deeds] are heavy, it is they who will be successful. |
| (103) ሚዛኖቹም የቀለሉበት ሰው እነዚያ እነርሱ ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው፡፡ በገሀነም ውስጥ ዘመውታሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (103) But those whose scales are light, they are the ones who have lost their souls, abiding in Hell forever. |
| (104) ፊቶቻቸውን እሳት ትገርፉቸዋለች፡፡ እነርሱም በእርሷ ውስጥ ከንፈሮቻቸው የተኮማተሩ ናቸው፡፡ | (104) The Fire will scorch their faces, leaving them disfigured. |
| (105) «አንቀጾቼ በእናንተ ላይ የሚነበቡላችሁና በእነርሱ የምታስተባብሉ አልነበራችሁምን» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (105) “Were not My verses recited to you, and you used to reject them?” |
| (106) ይላሉ «ጌታችን ሆይ! በእኛ ላይ መናጢነታችን አሸነፈችን፡፡ ጠማማዎችም ሕዝቦች ነበርን፡፡ | (106) They will say, “Our Lord, our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we were a people who went astray. |
| (107) «ጌታችን ሆይ! ከእርሷ አውጣን፡፡ (ወደ ክህደት) ብንመለስም እኛ በደዮች ነን፡፡» | (107) Our Lord, take us out of this; if we returned [to evil], we would certainly be wrongdoers.” |
| (108) (አላህም) «ወራዶች ኾናችሁ በውስጥዋ እርጉ፡፡ አታናግሩኝም» ይላቸዋል፡፡ | (108) Allah will say, “Stay therein despised, and do not speak to Me. |
| (109) እነሆ ከባሮቼ «ጌታችን ሆይ! አምነናልና ማረን፡፡ እዘንልንም አንተም ከአዛኞች ሁሉ ይበልጥ አዛኝ ነህ» የሚሉ ክፍሎች ነበሩ፡፡ | (109) There was a group of My slaves who used to pray, ‘Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.’ |
| (110) እኔንም ማውሳትን እስካስረሷችሁ ድረስም ማላገጫ አድርጋችሁ ያዛችኋቸው፡፡ በእነርሱም የምትስቁ ነበራችሁ፡፡ | (110) But you took them in mockery until they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. |
| (111) እኔ ዛሬ በትዕግስታቸው ምክንያት እነሱ ፍላጎታቸውን የሚያገኙት እነርሱ ብቻ በመኾን መነዳኋቸው፤ (ይላቸዋል)፡፡ | (111) I have rewarded them Today for their patience; it is they who are the successful.” |
| (112) «በምድር ውስጥ ከዓመታት ቁጥር ስንትን ቆያችሁ» ይላቸዋል፡፡ | (112) He will say, “How many years did you stay on earth?” |
| (113) «አንድ ቀንን ወይም ከፊል ቀንን ቆየን፡፡ ቆጣሪዎቹንም ጠይቅ» ይላሉ፡፡ | (113) They will say, “We stayed for a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count.” |
| (114) «እናንተ (የቆያችሁትን መጠን) የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ ኖሮ (በእሳት ውስጥ በምትቆዩት አንፃር) ጥቂትን ጊዜ እንጂ አልቆያችሁም» ይላቸዋል፡፡ | (114) Allah will say, “You only stayed for a while, if only you had known. |
| (115) «የፈጠርናችሁ ለከንቱ መኾኑን እናንተም ወደኛ የማትመለሱ መኾናችሁን ጠረጠራችሁን» (ለከንቱ የፈጠርናችሁ መሰላችሁን) | (115) Did you think that We created you with no purpose, and that you would not be brought back to Us?” |
| (116) የእውነቱም ንጉስ አላህ ከፍተኛነት ተገባው፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም፡፡ የሚያምረው ዐርሽ ጌታ ነው፡፡ | (116) Exalted is Allah, the True Sovereign! None has the right to be worshiped except Him, the Lord of the Honorable Throne. |
| (117) ከአላህም ጋር ሌላን አምላክ ለእርሱ በእርሱ ማስረጃ የሌለውን የሚገዛ ሰው ምርመራው እጌታው ዘንድ ብቻ ነው፡፡ እነሆ ከሓዲዎች አይድኑም፡፡ | (117) Whoever invokes another god besides Allah, for which he has no proof, his reckoning will be with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will never succeed. |
| (118) በልም «ጌታዬ ሆይ ማር፤ እዘንም፡፡ አንተም ከአዛኞች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ፡፡» | (118) Say, “My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and you are the Best of those who show mercy.” |
