75 – Al-Qiyaama
| (1) (ነገሩ ከሓዲዎች እንደሚሉት) አይደለም፡፡ በትንሣኤ ቀን እምላለሁ፡፡ | (1) I swear by the Day of Resurrection, |
| (2) (ራሷን) ወቃሽ በኾነች ነፍስም እምላለሁ፡፡ (በእርግጥ ትቀሰቀሳላችሁ)፡፡ | (2) and I swear by the self-reproaching soul! |
| (3) ሰው አጥንቶቹን አለመሰብሰባችንን ያስባልን? | (3) Does man think that We cannot reassemble his bones? |
| (4) አይደለም ጣቶቹን (ፊት እንደ ነበሩ) በማስተካከል ላይ ቻዮች ስንኾን (እንሰበስባቸዋለን)፡፡ | (4) In fact, We are able to restore even his very fingertips. |
| (5) ይልቁንም ሰው በፊቱ ባለው ነገር (በትንሣኤ) ሊያስተባብል ይፈልጋል፡፡ | (5) But man desires to persist in his evil ways, |
| (6) «የትንሣኤው ቀን መቼ ነው?» ሲል ይጠይቃል፡፡ | (6) and asks [mockingly], “When is the Day of Resurrection?” |
| (7) ዓይንም በዋለለ ጊዜ፡፡ | (7) But when eyes are dazzled, |
| (8) ጨረቃም በጨለመ ጊዜ፡፡ | (8) and the moon is darkened, |
| (9) ፀሐይና ጨረቃም በተሰበሰቡ ጊዜ፡፡ | (9) and the sun and the moon are brought together, |
| (10) «ሰው በዚያ ቀን መሸሻው የት ነው?» ይላል፡፡ | (10) on that Day man will say, “Where is the escape?” |
| (11) ይከልከል፤ ምንም መጠጊያ የለም፡፡ | (11) No indeed! There will be no refuge. |
| (12) በዚያ ቀን መርጊያው ወደ ጌታህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ | (12) On that Day all will end up before your Lord. |
| (13) ሰው በዚያ ቀን ባስቀደመውና ባስቆየው ሁሉ ይነገራል፡፡ | (13) On that Day man will be informed of what he has sent forth and left behind. |
| (14) በእርግጥም ሰው በነፍሱ ላይ አስረጅ ነው፡፡ (አካሎቹ ይመሰክሩበታል)፡፡ | (14) In fact, man will be a witness against himself, |
| (15) ምክንያቶቹን ሁሉ ቢያመጣም እንኳ (አይሰማም)፡፡ | (15) despite the excuses he may put forward. |
| (16) በእርሱ (በቁርኣን ንባብ) ልትቸኩል ምላስህን በእርሱ አታላውስ፡፡ | (16) Do not move your tongue [O Prophet] in haste trying to memorize it. |
| (17) (በልብህ ውስጥ) መሰብሰቡና ማንበቡ በእኛ ላይ ነውና፡፡ | (17) It is upon Us to make you memorize and recite it. |
| (18) ባነበብነውም ጊዜ (ካለቀ በኋላ) ንባቡን ተከተል፡፡ | (18) Then when We recite it [through Gabriel], follow its recitation attentively; |
| (19) ከዚያም ማብራራቱ በእኛ ላይ ነው፡፡ | (19) then it is upon Us to explain its meanings. |
| (20) (ከመጣደፍ) ተከልከል፡፡ ይልቁንም (ሰዎች) ፈጣኒቱን (ዓለም) ትወዳላችሁ፡፡ | (20) No indeed! You [people] love this fleeting world, |
| (21) መጨረሻይቱንም (ዓለም) ትተዋላችሁ፡፡ (አትዘጋጁላትም)፡፡ | (21) and neglect the Hereafter. |
| (22) ፊቶች በዚያ ቀን አብሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (22) On that Day some faces will be bright, |
| (23) ወደ ጌታቸው ተመልካቾች ናቸው፡፡ | (23) looking at their Lord. |
| (24) ፊቶችም በዚያ ቀን ጨፍጋጊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (24) And on that Day, some faces will be gloomy, |
| (25) በርሳቸውም ዐደጋ እንደሚሠራባቸው ያረጋግጣሉ፡፡ | (25) knowing that a crushing calamity will befall them. |
| (26) ንቁ (ነፍስ) ብሪዎችን በደረሰች ጊዜ፤ | (26) Indeed, when the soul reaches the throat, |
| (27) «አሻሪው ማነው?» በተባለም ጊዜ፡፡ | (27) and it is said, “Is there any healer?” |
| (28) (ሕመምተኛው) እርሱ (የሰፈረበት ነገር ከዚህ ዓለም) መልለየት መኾኑን ባረጋገጠም ጊዜ፡፡ | (28) And he realizes that it is time to depart, |
| (29) ባትም በባት በተጣበቀች ጊዜ፡፡ | (29) when legs are brought together [in a shroud]; |
| (30) በዚያ ቀን መነዳቱ ወደ ጌታህ (ፍርድ) ነው፡፡ | (30) on that Day, he will be driven to your Lord. |
| (31) አላመነምም አልሰገደምም፡፡ | (31) He neither believed nor prayed; |
| (32) ግን አስተባበለ፤ (ከእምነት) ዞረም፡፡ | (32) rather he denied and turned away, |
| (33) ከዚያም እየተንጎባለለ ወደ ቤተሰቡ ኼደ፡፡ | (33) then went swaggering to his people, |
| (34) የምትጠላውን ነገር (አላህ) ያስከትልህ፡፡ ለአንተ ተገቢህም ነው፡፡ | (34) Woe to you [O man], and woe! |
| (35) ከዚያም ጥፋት ይጠጋህ ለአንተ የተገባህም ነው፡፡ | (35) Again, woe to you, and woe! |
| (36) ሰው ስድ ኾኖ መትተውን ይጠረጥራልን? | (36) Does man think that he will be left neglected? |
| (37) የሚፈሰስ ከኾነ የፍትወት ጠብታ አልነበረምን? | (37) Was he not once a drop of semen emitted, |
| (38) ከዚያም የረጋ ደም ኾነ (አላህ ሰው አድርጎ) ፈጠረውም፡፡ አስተካከለውም፡፡ | (38) then he became a clinging clot, then He created him and perfected his form, |
| (39) ከእርሱም ሁለት ዓይነቶችን ወንድና ሴትን አደረገ፡፡ | (39) and made from him both genders, male and female? |
| (40) ይህ (ጌታ) ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን? | (40) Is not He able to bring the dead back to life? |
