| (1) ምድር (በኀይል) መንቀጥቀጥዋን በተንቀጠቀጠች ጊዜ፤ |
(1) When the earth is shaken with a mighty quake, |
| (2) ምድር ሸክሞችዋን ባወጣችም ጊዜ፤ |
(2) and the earth throws out its burdens, |
| (3) ሰውም ምን ኾነች? ባለ ጊዜ፤ |
(3) and man says, “What is the matter with it?” |
| (4) በዚያ ቀን ወሬዎችዋን ትናገራለች፡፡ |
(4) On that Day it will recount all its news, |
| (5) ጌታህ ለእርሷ በማሳወቁ ምክንያት፡፡ |
(5) because your Lord has inspired it [to do so]. |
| (6) በዚያ ቀን ሰዎች ሥራዎቻቸውን (ምንዳዋን) እንዲያዩ ይደረጉ ዘንድ (እንደየሥራቸው) የተለያዩ ኾነው (ከመቆሚያው ስፍራ) ይመለሳሉ፡፡ |
(6) On that Day all people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds. |
| (7) የብናኝ ክብደት ያክልም መልካምን የሠራ ሰው ያገኘዋል፡፡ |
(7) So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, |
| (8) የብናኝ ክብደት ያክልም ክፉን የሠራ ሰው ያገኘዋል፡፡ |
(8) and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it. |
