82 – Al-Infitaar
| (1) ሰማይ በተሰነጠቀች ጊዜ፤ | (1) When the sky breaks apart. |
| (2) ከዋክብትም ተበታትነው በወደቁ ጊዜ፤ | (2) and when the stars fall, scattered, |
| (3) ባሕሮችም በተከፈቱና በተደበላለቁ ጊዜ፤ | (3) and when the seas burst forth, |
| (4) መቃብሮችም በተገለባበጡና (ሙታን) በተነሱ ጊዜ፤ | (4) and when the graves are overturned, |
| (5) ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ያስቀደመችውንና ያቆየችውን ታውቃለች፡፡ | (5) then each soul will come to know what it has done or what it has left undone. |
| (6) አንተ ሰው ሆይ! በቸሩ ጌታህ ምን አታለለህ? | (6) O mankind, what has lured you away from your Lord, the Most Generous, |
| (7) በዚያ በፈጠረህ አካለ ሙሉም ባደረገህ ባስተካከለህም፡፡ | (7) Who created you, then shaped and proportioned you, |
| (8) በማንኛውም በሻው ቅርፅ በገጣጠመህ (ጌታህ ምን አታለለህ)፡፡ | (8) and assembled you in whatever form He willed? |
| (9) ተከልከሉ፤ በእውነቱ በፍርዱ ቀን ታስተባብላላችሁ፡፡ | (9) No indeed; but you deny the Judgment Day, |
| (10) በእናንተ ላይ ተጠባባቂዎች ያሉባችሁ፤ ስትኾኑ፤ | (10) while there are watchers over you, |
| (11) የተከበሩ ጸሐፊዎች የኾኑ፤ (ተጠባባቂዎች)፡፡ | (11) honorable scribes, |
| (12) የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ የሚያውቁ፡፡ | (12) who know whatever you do. |
| (13) እውነተኞቹ ምእምናን በእርግጥ በገነት ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ | (13) Indeed, the righteous will be in Bliss, |
| (14) ከሓዲዎቹም በእርግጥ በገሀነም ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ | (14) and the wicked will be in the Blazing Fire, |
| (15) በፍርዱ ቀን ይገቧታል፡፡ | (15) which they will enter on Judgment Day, |
| (16) እነርሱም ከርሷ ራቂዎች አይደሉም፡፡ | (16) and will never come out of it. |
| (17) የፍርድ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ? | (17) How do you know what Judgment Day is? |
| (18) ከዚያም የፍርዱ ቀን ምን እንደኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ? | (18) Again, how do you know what Judgment Day is? |
| (19) (እርሱ) ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ለሌላይቱ ነፍስ ምንም ማድረግን የማትችልበት ቀን ነው፡፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ በዚያ ቀን ለአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ | (19) It is the Day when no soul will be of any help to another, and all command on that Day will be with Allah. |
