41 – Fussilat
| (1) ሐ.መ.(ሓ ሚም)፡፡ | (1) Hā Mīm. |
| (2) (ይህ ቁርኣን) እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩህ በጣም አዛኝ ከሆነው (አላህ) የተወረደ ነው፡፡ | (2) A revelation from the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, |
| (3) አንቀጾቹ የተብራሩ የኾነ መጽሐፍ ነው፡፡ ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ሲኾን ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች (የተብራራ) ነው፡፡ | (3) a Book whose verses are well explained; an Arabic Qur’an for people who understand, |
| (4) አብሳሪና አስፈራሪ ሲኾን (ተወረደ)፡፡ አብዛኛዎቻቸውም ተዉት፡፡ እነርሱም አይሰሙም፡፡ | (4) as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; yet most of them turn away and they do not listen. |
| (5) አሉም «ልቦቻችን ከእዚያ ወደእርሱ ከምትጠራን እምነት በመሸፈኛዎች ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ በጆሮዎቻችንም ላይ ድንቁርና አልለ፤ በእኛና ባንተም መካከል ግርዶሽ አልለ፡፡ (በሃይማኖትህ) ሥስራም፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና፡፡» | (5) They say, “Our hearts are covered against what you are calling us to; there is deafness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us and you. So carry on [in your way], we will carry on [in our way].” |
| (6) (እንዲህ) በላቸው «እኔ መሰላችሁ ሰው ብቻ ነኝ፡፡ አምላካችሁ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ወደእርሱም ቀጥ በሉ ምሕረትንም ለምኑት ማለት ወደእኔ ይወረድልኛል፡፡ ለአጋሪዎቹም ወዮላቸው፡፡ | (6) Say [O Prophet], “I am only a human being like yourselves; it has been revealed to me that your god is only One God, so seek the straight path to Him and seek His forgiveness, and woe to those who associate partners with Him, |
| (7) ለእነዚያ ዘካን ለማይሰጡት እነርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም እነርሱ ከሓዲዎች ለኾኑት (ወዮላቸው)፡፡ | (7) those who do not give zakah, and who disbelieve in the Hereafter. |
| (8) እነዚያ ያመኑትና በጎ ሥራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነርሱ የማይቆረጥ ምንዳ አልላቸው፡፡ | (8) Those who believe and do righteous deeds, they will have a never-ending reward. |
| (9) በላቸው «እናንተ በዚያ ምድርን በሁለት ቀኖች ውስጥ በፈጠረው አምላክ በእርግጥ ትክዳላችሁን? ለእርሱም ባለንጣዎችን ታደርጋላችሁን? ያ (ይህንን የሠራው) የዓለማት ጌታ ነው፡፡ | (9) Say, “Do you disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two Days and you set up rivals to Him? Such is the Lord of the worlds. |
| (10) በእርሷም ከበላይዋ የረጉ ጋራዎችን አደረገ፡፡ በእርሷም በረከትን አደረገ፡፡ በውስጧም ምግቦችዋን (ካለፉት ሁለት ቀኖች ጋር) በአራት ቀናት ውሰጥ ለጠያቂዎች ትክክል ሲኾኑ ወሰነ፡፡ | (10) He placed on it firm mountains standing high above it, and showered His blessings upon it, and measured its sustenance totaling exactly four Days, for all who ask. |
| (11) ከዚያም ወደ ሰማይ እርሷ ጭስ ኾና ሳለች አሰበ፡፡ ለእርሷም ለምድርም «ወዳችሁም ኾነ ወይም ጠልታችሁ ኑ» አላቸው፡፡ «ታዛዦች ኾነን መጣን» አሉ፡፡ | (11) Then He turned to the heaven when it was all smoke, and said to it and to the earth, ‘Come into being, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both said, ‘We come willingly.’ |
| (12) በሁለት ቀኖችም ውስጥ ሰባት ሰማያት አደረጋቸው፡፡ በሰማይቱም ሁሉ ነገሯን አዘጋጀ፡፡ ቅርቢቱንም ሰማይ በመብራቶች አጌጥን፡፡ (ከሰይጣናት) መጠበቅንም ጠበቅናት፡፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው (ጌታ) ውሳኔ ነው፡፡ | (12) He then formed them into seven heavens in two Days and assigned to each heaven its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps [stars] which also serves as protection. That is the design of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.” |
| (13) (ከእምነት) እንቢ «ቢሉም እንደ ዓድና ሰሙድ መቅሰፍት ብጤ የኾነን መቅሰፍት አስጠነቅቃችኋለሁ» በላቸው፡፡ | (13) But if they turn away, then say, “I warn you of a blast like the one that befell ‘Ād and Thamūd, |
| (14) መልክተኞቹ አላህን እንጅ ሌላን አትግገዙ በማለት ከስተፊታቸውም ከስተኋለቸውም በመጡባቸው ጊዜ «ጌታችን በሻ ኖሮ መላእክትን ባወረደ ነበር፡፡ ስለዚህ እኛ በዚያ በእርሱ በተላካችሁበት ከሓዲዎች ነን» አሉ፡፡ | (14) when the messengers came to them from the front and from behind [saying], “Worship none but Allah,” they said, “If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down angels; so we disbelieve in what you have been sent with.” |
| (15) ዓድም በምድር ላይ ያለ አግባብ ኮሩ፡፡ «ከእኛ ይበልጥ በኀይል ብርቱ ማን ነው?» አሉም፡፡ ያ የፈጠራቸው አላህ እርሱ በኀይል ከእነርሱ ይበልጥ የበረታ መኾኑን አያዩምን? በተዓምራታችንም ይክዱ ነበሩ፡፡ | (15) As for ‘Ād, they were arrogant in the land without right, and said, “Who is more powerful than us?” Did they not see that Allah, Who created them, is more powerful than them? Yet they continued to reject Our signs. |
| (16) በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት የውርደትን ቅጣት ልናቀምሳቸውም በእነርሱ ላይ የሚንሻሻን ብርቱ ነፋስ መናጢዎች በኾኑ ቀናት ውስጥ ላክንባቸው፡፡ የመጨረሻይቱም (ዓለም) ስቃይ በጣም አዋራጅ ነው፡፡ እነርሱም አይረዱም፡፡ | (16) So We sent against them a roaring wind for several inauspicious days to make them taste a disgracing punishment in the life of this world; but the punishment of the Hereafter is far more disgracing, and they will not be helped. |
| (17) ሰሙዶችማ መራናቸው ዕውርነትንም በቅንነት ላይ መረጡ፡፡ ይሠሩትም በነበሩት ኃጢኣት አሳናሽ የኾነችው የመብረቅ ቅጣት ያዘቻቸው፡፡ | (17) As for Thamūd, We showed them guidance, but they preferred blindness over the guidance. So they were seized by the blast of a debasing punishment for what they used to commit. |
| (18) እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና ይጠነቀቁ የነበሩትን አዳንናቸው፡፡ | (18) And We saved those who believed and feared Allah. |
| (19) የአላህም ጠላቶች ወደ እሳት የሚሰበሰቡበትን ቀን (አስታውስ)፡፡ እነርሱም የሚከመከሙ ኾነው ይነዳሉ፡፡ | (19) And [consider] the Day when Allah’s enemies will be gathered to the Fire, driven in rows. |
| (20) በመጧትም ጊዜ ጆሮዎቻቸው፣ ዓይኖቻቸውና ቆዳዎቻቸውም ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር በእነርሱ ላይ ይመሰክሩባቸዋል፡፡ | (20) until when they reach it, their hearing, their sight and their skins will testify against them concerning what they used to do. |
| (21) ለቆዳዎቻቸውም «በእኛ ላይ ለምን መሰከራችሁብን?» ይላሉ፡፡ «ያ አንዳቹን ነገር ሁሉ ያናገረው አላህ አናገረን፡፡ እርሱም በመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ፈጠራችሁ፡፡ ወደእርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ» ይሏቸዋል፡፡ | (21) They will say to their skins, “Why did you testify against us?” They will say, “It is Allah Who made us to speak, the One Who made everything speak. It is He Who created you the first time, and to Him you will be returned. |
| (22) ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም፡፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ፡፡ | (22) You did not bother to hide yourselves [when committing sins] from your hearing, your sight, and your skins lest they testify against you; rather you thought that Allah does not know much of what you do. |
| (23) ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ፡፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (23) Such was your thought that you entertained about your Lord that ruined you, so you became losers.” |
| (24) ቢታገሱም እሳት ለእነርሱ መኖሪያቸው ናት፡፡ ወደሚወዱት መመለስንም ቢጠይቁ እነርሱ ተቀባይ የሚያገኙ አይደሉም፡፡ | (24) Even if they endure patiently, the Fire will still be their abode; and if they seek to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so. |
| (25) ለእነርሱም ቁራኛዎችን አዘጋጀንላቸው፡፡ በፊታቸው ያለውንና በኋላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ ለእነርሱ ሸለሙላቸው፡፡ ከጋኔንና ከሰውም ከእነርሱ በፊት በእርግጥ ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ጋር ኾነው ቃሉ በእነርሱ ላይ ተረጋገጠባቸው፡፡ እነርሱ በእርግጥ ከሳሪዎች ነበሩና፡፡ | (25) We assigned to them [evil] associates who made appealing to them all that was before them and behind them, so the decree [of punishment] became due against them along with nations that passed before them of jinn and men, for indeed they were losers. |
| (26) እነዚያም የካዱት «ይህንን ቁርኣን አታዳምጡ፡፡ ታሸንፉም ዘንድ (ሲነበብ) በእርሱ ውሰጥ ተንጫጩ» አሉ፡፡ | (26) Those who disbelieve say, “Do not listen to this Qur’an, but make noise [when it is recited], so that you may prevail.” |
| (27) እነዚያንም የካዱትን ብርቱን ቅጣት እናቀምሳቸዋለን፡፡ የእዚያነም ይሠሩት የነበሩትን መጥፎውን (ፍዳ) በእርግጥ እንመነዳቸዋለን፡፡ | (27) We will surely make those who disbelieve taste a severe punishment, and We will surely recompense them according to the worst of what they used to do. |
| (28) ይህ የአላህ ጠላቶች ፍዳ ነው፡፡ እሳት በውስጧ ለእነርሱ የዘላለም መኖሪያ አገር አልላቸው፡፡ ከአንቀጾቻችን ይክዱ በነበሩት ምንዳን (ይምመነዳሉ)፡፡ | (28) Such is the recompense of the enemies of Allah: the Fire, which will be their eternal home, as a recompense for their rejection of Our verses. |
| (29) እነዚያም የካዱት (በእሳት ውስጥ ኾነው) «ጌታችን ሆይ! እነዚያን ከጋኔንና ከሰው ያሳሳቱንን አሳየን፡፡ ከታችኞቹ ይኾኑ ዘንድ ከጫማዎቻችን ሥር እናደርጋቸዋለንና» ይላሉ፡፡ | (29) Those who disbelieved will say, “Our Lord, show us those jinn and men who led us astray; we will trample them under our feet, so that they become among the lowest.” |
| (30) እነዚያ «ጌታችን አላህ ነው» ያሉ ከዚያም ቀጥ ያሉ «አትፍሩ፤ አትዘኑም፤ በዚያችም ተስፋ ቃል ትደረግላችሁ በነበራችሁት ገነት ተበሰሩ» በማለት በነሱ ላይ መላእክት ይወርዳሉ፡፡ | (30) Those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” then remain steadfast, the angels will descend upon them [at the time of death, saying], “Do not fear, nor grieve, but receive glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised. |
| (31) «እኛ በቅርቢቱም ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱም ረዳቶቻችሁ ነን! ለእናንተም በእርሷ ውስጥ ነፍሶቻችሁ የሚሹት ሁሉ አልላችሁ፡፡ ለእናንተም በእርሷ ውስጥ የምትፈልጉት ሁሉ አልላችሁ፡፡ | (31) We are your allies in the life of this world and in the Hereafter. You will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you ask for, |
| (32) «መሓሪ አዛኝ ከኾነው አላህ መስተንግዶ ሲኾን» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (32) a hospitality from the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful One.” |
| (33) ወደ አላህ ከጠራና መልካምንም ከሠራ፣ «እኔ ከሙስሊሞች ነኝ» ካለም ሰው ይበልጥ ቃሉ ያማረ ማን ነው? | (33) Who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah, does righteous deeds, and says, “I am one of the Muslims [submitting to Allah]”? |
| (34) መልካሚቱና ክፉይቱም (ጸባይ) አይተካከሉም፡፡ በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነችው ጸባይ (መጥፎይቱን) ገፍትር፡፡ ያን ጊዜ ያ ባንተና በእርሱ መካከል ጠብ ያለው ሰው እርሱ ልክ እንደ አዛኝ ዘመድ ይኾናል፡፡ | (34) Good and evil are not equal. Repel evil with what is good; the one whom you have enmity with will become as if he was a close friend. |
| (35) (ይህችንም ጠባይ) እነዚያ የታገሱት እንጅ ሌላው አያገኛትም፡፡ የትልቅም ዕድል ባለቤት እንጅ ማንም አይገጠማትም፡፡ | (35) But none can attain this except those who are patient, and none can attain this except those who are greatly fortunate. |
| (36) ከሰይጣንም ጉትጎታ ቢያገኝህ (ከመልካም ጠባይም ቢመልስህ) በአላህ ተጠበቅ፡፡ እነሆ እርሱ ሰሚው ዐዋቂው ነውና፡፡ | (36) If you are prompted by Satan’s provocation, seek refuge with Allah, for He is indeed the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. |
| (37) ሌሊትና ቀንም ፀሐይና ጨረቃም ከምልክቶቹ ናቸው፡፡ ለፀሐይና ለጨረቃ አትስገዱ፡፡ ለእዚያም ለፈጠራቸው አላህ ስገዱ፡፡ እርሱን ብቻ የምትግገዙ እንደ ኾናችሁ (ለሌላ አትስገዱ)፡፡ | (37) Among His signs are the night and the day, the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you truly worship Him. |
| (38) ቢኮሩም እነዚያ በጌታህ ዘንድ ያሉት (መላእክት) በቀንም በሌሊትም ለእርሱ ያወድሳሉ፡፡ እነርሱም አይሰለቹም፡፡ | (38) But if they show arrogance, then those [angels] who are with your Lord glorify Him night and day, and they never grow weary. |
| (39) አንተ ምድርን ደረቅ ኾና ማየትህም ከምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ በእርሷም ላይ ውሃን ባወረድን ጊዜ (በቡቃያዎችዋ) ትላወሳለች፡፡ ትነፋለችም፡፡ ያ ሕያው ያደረጋት ጌታ በእርግጥ ሙታንን ሕያው አድራጊ ነው፡፡ እነርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነውና፡፡ | (39) And among His signs is that you see the land withered, but when We send down rain upon it, it stirs and swells. He Who gives it life will surely give life to the dead, for He is Most Capable of all things. |
| (40) እነዚያ አንቀጾቻችንን የሚያጣምሙ በእኛ ላይ አይደበቁም፡፡ (የሚያጣምምና) በእሳት ውስጥ የሚጣለው ሰው ይበልጣልን? ወይስ በትንሣኤ ቀን ጸጥተኛ ኾኖ የሚመጣው ሰው? የሻችሁትን ሥሩ (ዋጋችሁን ታገኛላችሁ)፡፡ እርሱ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነውና፡፡ | (40) Those who distort the meanings of Our verses are not hidden from Us. Is one who will be cast into the Fire better or one who will come safely on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you wish, for He is All-Seeing of what you do. |
| (41) እነዚያ በቁርኣን እርሱ አሸናፊ መጽሐፍ ሲኾን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ የካዱት (ጠፊዎች ናቸው)፡፡ | (41) Those who disbelieve in the Reminder when it comes to them [will be punished], for it is truly a mighty Book. |
| (42) ከኋላውም ከፊቱም ውሸት አይመጣበትም፡፡ ጥበበኛ ምስጉን ከኾነው ጌታ የተወረደ ው፡፡ | (42) No falsehood can approach it from the front or from behind; a revelation from the One Who is All-Wise, Praiseworthy. |
| (43) ካንተ በፊት ለነበሩት መልክተኞች የተባለው ብጤ እንጅ ለአንተ ሌላ አይባልም፡፡ ጌታህ የምህረት ባለቤትና የአሳማሚ ቅጣት ባለቤት ነው፡፡ | (43) Nothing is said to you [O Prophet] except what was already said to the messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is All-Forgiving, but Severe in punishment. |
| (44) በአጀምኛ የኾነ ቁርኣን ባደረግነው ኖሮ አንቀጾቹ «(በምናውቀው ቋንቋ) አይብራሩም ኖሯልን? (ቁርኣኑ) አጀምኛና (መልክተኛው) ዐረባዊ ይኾናልን?» ባሉ ነበር እርሱ ለእነዚያ ለአመኑት መምሪያና መፈወሻ ነው፡፡ እነዚያም የማያምኑት በጆሮዎቻቸው ውስጥ ድንቁርና ነው፡፡ (አይሰሙትም)፡፡ እነርሱም በእነርሱ ላይ እውርነት ነው፡፡ እነዚያ ከሩቅ ስፍራ እንደሚጥጠሩ ናቸው፡፡ | (44) If We had made it a non-Arabic Qur’an, they would have said, “If only its verses were made clear? What! A non-Arabic [book] and an Arab [messenger]?” Say, “It is a guidance and healing for those who believe. As for those who do not believe, there is deafness in their ears and they are blind to [understand] it – it is as if they are being called from a far off place.” |
| (45) ሙሳንም መጽሐፉን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው፡፡ በእርሱም ተለያዩበት፡፡ ከጌታህም ያለፈች ቃል ባልነበረች ኖሮ በመካከላቸው በተፈረደ ነበር፡፡ እነርሱም ከእርሱ አወላዋይ በኾነ ጥርጣሬ ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ | (45) We gave Moses the Scripture, but differences arose concerning it. Were it not for a prior decree from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. Surely they are in a disquieting doubt about it. |
| (46) መልካም የሠራ ሰው ለነፍሱ ነው፡፡ ያጠፋም ሰው በእርሷ ላይ ነው፡፡ ጌታህም ለባሮቹ በዳይ አይደለም፡፡ | (46) Whoever does a righteous deed, it is to his own benefit; and whoever does an evil deed, it is to his own loss. Your Lord is not unjust to His slaves. |
| (47) ጊዜይቱን ማወቅ ወደእርሱ ይመለሳል ከፍሬዎችም ከሽፋኖቻቸው አይወጡም፡፡ ከሴትም አንዲትም አታረግዝም፣ አትወልድምም በዕውቀቱ ቢኾን እንጅ፡፡ «ተጋሪዎቼ የት ናቸው?» በማለት በሚጠራቸው ቀንም «ከእኛ ውስጥ (ባላንጣ አልለ ብሎ) ምንም መስካሪ አለመኖሩን አስታወቅንህ» ይላሉ፡፡ | (47) The knowledge of the Hour is with Him alone. No fruit emerges from its husk, nor does any female conceive or give birth without His knowledge. On the Day when He will call them, “Where are My [claimed] partners?” They will say, “We declare before you that none of us can bear witness to that.” |
| (48) ያም በፊት ይግገዙት የነበሩት (ጣዖት) ከእነርሱ ይጠፋቸዋል፡፡ ለእነርሱም ምንም መሸሻ የሌላቸው መኾኑን ያረጋግጣሉ፡፡ | (48) Whatever they used to supplicate before will vanish from them, and they will realize that they have no escape. |
| (49) ሰው በጎ ነገርን ከመለመን አይሰለችም፡፡ ክፉም ቢያገኘው ወዲያውኑ በጣም ተስፋ ቆራጭ ተበሳጭ ይኾናል፡፡ | (49) Man never tires of asking for good, but if evil touches him, he is desperate and despondent. |
| (50) ካገኘችውም መከራ በኋላ ከእኛ የኾነን እዝነት ብናቀምሰው «ይህ ለእኔ (በሥራዬ የተገባኝ) | (50) But if We give him a taste of mercy from Us after being inflicted with adversity, he will surely say, “This is my due, and I do not think that the Hour will ever come, but if I am brought back to my Lord, I will surely have with Him the best [reward].” We will surely inform the disbelievers of what they did, and We will surely make them taste a harsh punishment. |
| (51) በሰውም ላይ ጸጋችንን በለገስን ጊዜ (ከማመስገን) ይዞራል፡፡ በጎኑም ይርቃል፡፡ መከራም ባገኘው ጊዜ የብዙ ልመና ባለቤት ይኾናል፡፡ | (51) When We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself [from Us]; but when evil touches him, he is full of prolonged supplication. |
| (52) በላቸው «ንገሩኝ (ቁርኣኑ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ቢኾን ከዚያም በእርሱ ብትክዱ (ከውነት) በራቀ ጭቅጭቅ ላይ ከኾነ ሰው ይበልጥ የተሳሳተ ማን ነው?» | (52) Say, “Did you ever consider, if this [Qur’an] is really from Allah, but you reject it, who can be more astray than someone who is in extreme defiance?” |
| (53) እርሱም (ቁርኣን) እውነት መኾኑ ለእነርሱ እስከሚገለፅላቸው ድረስ በአጽናፎቹ ውስጥና በነፍሶቻቸውም ውስጥ ያሉትን ተዓምራቶቻችንን በእርግጥ እናሳያቸዋለን፡፡ ጌታህም እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ዐዋቂ መኾኑ አይበቃቸውምን? | (53) We will show them Our signs in the universe and in their own selves, until it becomes clear to them that this [Qur’an] is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things? |
| (54) ንቁ! እነርሱ ከጌታቸው መገናኘት በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ ንቁ! እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ (ዕውቀቱ) ከባቢ ነው፡፡ | (54) Indeed, they are in doubt concerning the meeting with their Lord; He truly encompasses all things. |
