39 – Az-Zumar
| (1) የመጽሐፉ መወረድ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ከኾነው አላህ ነው፡፡ | (1) The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the All-Mighty, All-Wise. |
| (2) እኛ ወደ አንተ መጽሐፉን በእውነት (የተመላ) ሲኾን አወረድነው፡፡ አላህንም ሃይማኖትን ለእርሱ ብቻ ያጠራህ ኾነህ ተገዛው፡፡ | (2) Indeed, We have sent down to you [O Prophet] the Book with the truth, so worship Allah with sincere devotion to Him. |
| (3) ንቁ! ፍጹም ጥሩ የኾነው ሃይማኖት የአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ (ጣዖታትን) ረዳቶች የያዙት «ወደ አላህ ማቃረብን እንዲያቀርቡን እንጅ ለሌላ አንገዛቸውም» (ይላሉ)፡፡ አላህ በዚያ እነርሱ በእርሱ በሚለያዩበት ነገር በመካከላቸው ይፈርዳል፡፡ አላህ እርሱ ውሸታም ከሓዲ የኾነን ሰው አያቀናም፡፡ | (3) Indeed, sincere devotion is due to Allah alone. As for those who take others as guardians besides Him, [saying], “We only worship them so that they may bring us closer to Allah.” Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Allah does not guide anyone who is a liar and a persistent disbeliever. |
| (4) አላህ ልጅን መያዝ በፈለገ ኖሮ ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይመርጥ ነበር፡፡ ጥራት ተገባው፡፡ እርሱ አሸናፊው አንዱ አላህ ነው፡፡ | (4) If Allah had willed to take for Himself a son, He could have chosen whatever He wished from among what He creates. Glory be to Him. He is Allah, the One, the Subjugator. |
| (5) ሰማያትንና ምድርን በእወነት ፈጠረ፡፡ ሌሊትን በቀን ላይ ይጠቀልላል፡፡ ቀንንም በሌሊት ላይ ይጠቀልላል፤ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ገራ፡፡ ሁሉም ለተወሰነ ጊዜ ይሮጣሉ፡፡ ንቁ! እርሱ አሸናፊው መሓሪው ነው፡፡ | (5) He created the heavens and earth for a true purpose. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed term. Indeed, He is the All-Mighty, Most Forgiving. |
| (6) ከአንዲት ነፍስ ፈጠራችሁ፡፡ ከዚያም ከእርሷ መቀናጆዋን አደረገ፡፡ ለእናንተም ከግመልና ከከብት፣ ከፍየል፣ ከበግ ስምንት ዓይነቶችን (ወንድና ሴት) አወረደ፡፡ በእናቶቻችሁ ሆዶች ውስጥ በሦስት ጨለማዎች ውስጥ ከመፍጠር በኋላ (ሙሉ) መፍጠርን ይፈጠራችኋል፡፡ ይህ ጌታችሁ አላህ ነው፡፡ ስልጣኑ የርሱ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም፡፡ ታዲያ ወዴት ትዞራላችሁ፡፡ | (6) He created you from a single soul, then He made from it its mate, and He created for you eight pairs of livestock. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers [in stages], creation after creation, in three layers of darkness. Such is Allah, your Lord. To Him belongs the dominion; none has the right to be worshiped except Him. So how are you averted? |
| (7) ብትክዱ አላህ ከእናንተ የተብቃቃ ነው፡፡ ለባሪያዎቹም ከህደትን አይወድም፡፡ ብታመሰግኑም፤ እርሱን ይወድላችኋል፡፡ ማንኛይቱም ኃጢኣትን ተሸካሚ ነፍስ የሌላይቱን ኃጢኣት አትሸከምም፡፡ ከዚያም መመለሻችሁ ወደ ጌታችሁ ነው፡፡ ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትንም ይነግራችኋል፡፡ እርሱ በልቦች ውስጥ ያሉትን ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡ | (7) If you disbelieve, then Allah is in no need of you, but He does not approve of disbelief for His slaves. If you are grateful, He approves that for you. No bearer of burden can bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you of what you used to do. He is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts. |
| (8) ሰውንም ጉዳት ባገኘው ጊዜ ጌታውን ወደርሱ ተመላሽ ኾኖ ይጠራል፡፡ ከዚያም ከእርሱ ዘንድ ጸጋን በሰጠው ጊዜ ያንን ከዚያ በፊት ወደርሱ ይጸልይበት የነበረውን (መከራ) ይረሳል፡፡ ከመንገዱ ለማሳሳትም ለአላህ ባላንጣዎችን ያደርጋል፡፡ «በክህደትህ ጥቂትን ተጣቀም፡፡ አንተ በእርግጥ ከእሳት ጓዶች ነህ» በለው፡፡ | (8) When adversity befalls man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him in repentance. Then when his Lord bestows His favor upon him, he forgets the adversity for which he was calling upon Him before, and sets up rivals to Allah, to mislead others from His way. Say [O Prophet], “Enjoy your disbelief for a little while; you will be one of the people of the Fire.” |
| (9) እርሱ የመጨረሻይቱን ዓለም (ቅጣት) የሚፈራ የጌታውንም ችሮታ የሚከጅል ሲኾን በሌሊት ሰዓቶች ሰጋጅና ቋሚ ኾኖ ለጌታው የሚግገዛ ሰው (እንደ ተስፋ ቢሱ ከሓዲ ነውን? በለው)፡፡ «እነዚያ የሚያውቁና እነዚያ የማያውቁ ይስተካከላሉን?» በላቸው፡፡ የሚገነዘቡት ባለ አእምሮዎቹ ብቻ ናቸው፡፡ | (9) [Is he better] or the one who constantly worships during the night, prostrating and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord? Say, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” It is only the people of understanding who will take heed. |
| (10) (ጌታችሁ) «እናንተ ያመናችሁ ባሮቼ ሆይ! ጌታችሁን ፍሩ፡፡ ለነዚያ በዚህች በቅርቢቱ ዓለም መልካም ለሠሩት መልካም ምንዳ አላቸው፡፡ የአላህ ምድርም ሰፊ ናት፤ (ብትቸገሩ ተሰደዱ)፡፡ ታጋሾቹ ምንዳቸውን የሚሰጡት ያለግምት ነው» (ይላል) በላቸው፡፡ | (10) Say, “O My slaves who believe, fear your Lord. Those who do good in this world will have a good return, and Allah’s earth is spacious. Those who observe patience will be given their reward without measure.” |
| (11) በል «እኔ አላህን ሃይማኖትን ለርሱ ያጠራሁ ኾኜ እንድግገዛው ታዘዝኩ፡፡ | (11) Say, “I have been commanded to worship Allah, with sincere devotion to Him, |
| (12) «የሙስሊሞችም መጀመሪያ እንድኾን ታዘዝኩ፡፡» | (12) and I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit to Allah.” |
| (13) «እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ» በል፡፡ | (13) Say, “I truly fear, if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a momentous Day.” |
| (14) አላህን «ሃይማኖቴን ለእርሱ ያጠራሁ ኾኜ እግገዛዋለሁ» በል፡፡ | (14) Say, “It is Allah alone Whom I worship, with sincere devotion to Him. |
| (15) «ከእርሱ ሌላ የሻችሁትን ተገዙ፡፡ ከሳሪዎች ማለት እነዚያ በትንሣኤ ቀን ነፍሶቻቸውንና ቤተሰቦቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው፡፡ ንቁ! ይህ እርሱ ግልጽ ከሳራ ነው» በላቸው፡፡ | (15) So worship whatever you wish besides Him.” Say, “Indeed, the losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. That is indeed the clear loss.” |
| (16) ለእነርሱ ከበላያቸው ከእሳት የኾኑ (ድርብርብ) ጥላዎች አልሏቸው፡፡ ከበታቻቸውም ጥላዎች አልሏቸው። ይህ አላህ ባሮቹን (እንዲጠነቀቁ) በእርሱ ያስፈራራበታል፡፡ «ባሮቼ ሆይ! ስለዚህ ፍሩኝ፡፡» | (16) They will have layers of fire above them and below them. That is how Allah warns His slaves. Then fear Me, O My slaves! |
| (17) እነዚያም ጣዖታትን የሚግገዟት ከመኾን የራቁ ወደ አላህም የዞሩ ለእነርሱ ብስራት አልላቸው፡፡ ስለዚህ ባሮቼን አብስር፡፡ | (17) But those who shun the worship of false gods and penitently turn to Allah, there are glad tidings for them. So give glad tidings to My slaves, |
| (18) እነዚያን ንግግርን የሚያዳምጡትንና መልካሙን የሚከተሉትን (አብስር)፡፡ እነዚያ እነርሱ አላህ የመራቸው ናቸው፡፡ እነዚያም እነርሱ ባለአእምሮዎቹ ናቸው፡፡ | (18) those who listen to what is said and follow the best of it. They are the ones whom Allah has guided, and they are the people of understanding. |
| (19) በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው (ትመራዋለህን?) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን? | (19) Can you save those against whom the decree of punishment has been passed to be in the Fire? |
| (20) ግን እነዚያ ጌታቸውን የፈሩ ለእነርሱ ከበላያቸው የታነጹ ሰገነቶች ያሏቸው ሰገነቶች ከስሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸው የኾኑ አልሏቸው፡፡ (ይህንን) አላህ ቃል ገባላቸው፡፡ አላህ ቃሉን አያፈርስም፡፡ | (20) But those who fear their Lord will have lofty mansions, built one above another, under which rivers flow. This is the promise of Allah; Allah never breaks His promise. |
| (21) አላህ ከሰማይ ውሃን እንዳወረደና በምድርም ውስጥ ምንጮች አድርጎ እንዳስገባው አላየህምን? ከዚያም በእርሱ ዓይነቶቹ የተለያዩን አዝመራ ያወጣል፡፡ ከዚያም ይደርቃል፡፡ ገርጥቶም ታየዋለህ፡፡ ከዚያም ስብርብር ያደርገዋል፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለባለ አእምሮዎች ግሣጼ አለበት፡፡ | (21) Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs in the earth, then He brings forth thereby crops of various colors; then they whither and you see them turn yellow; then He causes them to crumble? Indeed, there is a reminder in this for people of understanding. |
| (22) አላህ ደረቱን ለእስልምና ያስፋለትና እርሱም ከጌታው ዘንድ በብርሃን ላይ የኾነ ሰው (ልቡ እንደ ደረቀ ሰው ነውን?) ልቦቻቸውም ከአላህ መወሳት ለደረቁ ሰዎች ወዮላቸው፡፡ እነዚያ በግልጽ መሳሳት ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ | (22) Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so he is enlightened by his Lord [like a disbeliever]? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened upon hearing the reminder of Allah; it is they who are clearly misguided. |
| (23) አላህ ከዜና ሁሉ መልካምን፣ ተመሳሳይ፣ ተደጋጋሚ የኾነን መጽሐፍ አወረደ፡፡ ከእርሱ (ግሣጼ) የእነዚያ ጌታቸውን የሚፈሩት ሰዎች ቆዳዎች ይኮማተራሉ፡፡ ከዚያም ቆዳዎቻቸውና ልቦቻቸው ወደ አላህ (ተስፋ) ማስታወስ ይለዝባሉ፡፡ ይህ የአላህ መምሪያ ነው፡፡ በእርሱ የሚሻውን ሰው ይመራበታል፡፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለእርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም፡፡ | (23) Allah has sent down the best message – a consistent Book of repeated lessons – causing the skins of those who fear their Lord to shiver, then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. This is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. But whoever Allah causes to stray, there is none to guide him. |
| (24) በትንሣኤ ቀን ክፉን ቅጣት በፊቱ የሚመክት ሰው (ከቅጣት እንደሚድን ነውን?) ለበዳዮችም «ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን (ቅጣቱን) ቅመሱ» ይባላሉ፡፡ | (24) Is one who will shield himself from the terrible punishment with his face on the Day of Resurrection [like someone in Paradise]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers: “Taste what you used to earn.” |
| (25) ከእነሱ በፊት የነበሩት አስተባበሉ፡፡ ቅጣቱም ከማያውቁት በኩል መጣባቸው፡፡ | (25) Those who came before them also disbelieved, so the punishment came upon them from where they could not imagine. |
| (26) አላህም በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ውርደትን አቀመሳቸው፡፡ የመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ቅጣት በጣም ትልቅ ነው፡፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ (አያስተባብሉም ነበር)፡፡ | (26) Therefore Allah gave them a taste of disgrace in the life of this world, but the punishment of the Hereafter is far greater, if only they knew. |
| (27) በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ለሰዎች ይገሠጹ ዘንድ ከየምሳሌው ሁሉ በእርግጥ አብራራን፡፡ | (27) Indeed, We have presented for mankind all kinds of examples in this Qur’an, so that they may take heed – |
| (28) መዛባት የሌለበት ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ሲኾን (አብራራነው)፡፡ ሊጠነቀቁ ይከጀላልና፡፡ | (28) an Arabic Qur’an, free of flaws and contradictions, so that they may be conscious of Allah. |
| (29) አላህ በእርሱ ተጨቃጫቂዎች የኾኑ ተጋሪዎች ያሉትን ባሪያና ለአንድ ሰው ብቻ ንጹሕ የኾነን ባሪያ (ለሚያጋራና ባንድነቱ ለሚያምን ሰው) ምሳሌ አደረገ፡፡ በምሳሌ ይስተካከላሉን? ምስጋና ለአላህ ይገባው፡፡ በእውነቱ አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም፡፡ | (29) Allah makes a comparison of a slave owned by several quarrelsome masters, and a slave owned by only one master. Are they equal in comparison? All praise be to Allah. But most of them do not know. |
| (30) አንተ ሟች ነህ፤ እነርሱም ሟቾች ናቸው፡፡ | (30) You [O Prophet] will surely die, and they too will die; |
| (31) ከዚያም እናንተ በትንሣኤ ቀን እጌታችሁ ዘንድ ትከራከራላችሁ፡፡ | (31) then on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute with one another before your Lord. |
| (32) በአላህም ላይ ከዋሸ እውነቱንም በመጣለት ጊዜ ከአስተባበለ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማን ነው? | (32) Who is then more unjust than he who tells lies about Allah and rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there no abode for the disbelievers in Hell? |
| (33) ያም በእውነት የመጣው በእርሱ ያመነውም እነዚያ እነርሱ አላህን ፊሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (33) But the one who came with the truth [i.e. the prophet] and [those who] believed in it – it is they who are the righteous. |
| (34) ለእነርሱ በጌታቸው ዘንድ የሚሹት ሁሉ አልላቸው፡፡ ይህ የበጎ አድራጊዎች ምንዳ ነው፡፡ | (34) They will have with their Lord whatever they wish for. Such is the reward of those who do good. |
| (35) አላህ ያንን (በስሕተት) የሠሩትን መጥፎ ሥራ ከእነርሱ ሊሰርይላቸው በዚያም ይሠሩት በነበሩት በመልካሙ ሥራ ምንዳቸውን ሊመነዳቸው (ይህንን አደረገ)፡፡ | (35) And Allah will absolve them of their worst deeds and reward them according to the best of what they used to do. |
| (36) አላህ ባሪያውን በቂ አይደለምን? በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ሌላ በኾኑትም (ጣዖታት) ያስፈራሩሃል፡፡ አላህ የሚያጠመውም ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም፡፡ | (36) Is Allah not sufficient for His slave? Yet they frighten you with those [whom they worship] besides Him. Whoever Allah causes to stray, there is none to guide him. |
| (37) አላህ የሚያቀናውም ሰው ለእርሱ ምንም አጥማሚ የለውም፡፡ አላህ አሸናፊ የመበቀል ባለቤት አይደለምን? | (37) And whoever Allah guides, none can lead him astray. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Capable of Retribution? |
| (38) ሰማያትንና ምድርን የፈጠረ ማን እንደ ኾነ ብትጠይቃቸው «አላህ ነው» ይሉሃል፡፡ «ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውን (ጣዖታት) አያችሁን? (ንገሩኝ) አላህ በጉዳት ቢፈልገኝ እነርሱ ጉዳቱን ገላጮች ናቸውን? ወይስ በችሮታው ቢፈቅደኝ እነርሱ ችሮታውን አጋጆች ናቸውን?» በላቸው፡፡ «አላህ በቂዬ ነው፡፡ በእርሱ ላይ ተመኪዎች ይመካሉ» በል፡፡ | (38) If you ask them who created the heavens and earth, they will surely say, “Allah.” Say, “Then tell me about those whom you supplicate besides Allah; if Allah wills to harm me, can they remove His harm? Or if He wills mercy for me, can they withhold His mercy?” Say, “Allah is sufficient for me; in Him alone do the reliant put their trust.” |
| (39) (ሙሐመድ ሆይ!) በላቸው «ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! ባላችሁበት ኹኔታ ላይ ሥሩ፡፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና፡፡ ወደፊትም ታውቃላችሁ፡፡» | (39) Say, “O my people, carry on as you are, and so will I. You will come to know |
| (40) ያንን የሚያሳፍረው ቅጣት የሚመጠበትንና በእርሱ ላይ ዘውታሪ ቅጣት የሚሰፍርበትን (ታውቃላችሁ) | (40) who will receive a humiliating punishment, and upon whom will descend an everlasting punishment.” |
| (41) እኛ መጽሐፉን ባንተ ላይ ለሰዎች (ጥቅም) በእውነት አወረድነው፡፡ የተመራም ሰው ለነፍሱ ነው፡፡ የጠመመም ሰው የሚጠምመው (ጉዳቱ) በእርሷ ላይ ነው፡፡ አንተም (ታስገድዳቸው ዘንድ) በእነርሱ ላይ ጠባቂ አይደለህም፡፡ | (41) We have sent down to you the Book with the truth for all mankind. Whoever follows the guidance, it is to his own benefit, and whoever goes astray, it is only to his own loss. You are not a keeper over them. |
| (42) አላህ ነፍሶችን በሞታቸው ጊዜ ይወስዳል፡፡ ያችንም ያልሞተችውን በእንቅልፏ ጊዜ (ይወስዳታል)፡፡ ታዲያ ያችን ሞትን የፈረደባትን ይይዛታል፡፡ ሌላይቱንም እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ይለቅቃታል፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያስተነትኑ ሕዝቦች ምልክቶች አልሉበት፡፡ | (42) Allah takes away the souls at the time of their death and of those who do not die during their sleep. He withholds the souls of those on whom He has decreed death, and releases others until an appointed term. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who reflect. |
| (43) ይልቁንም (ቁረይሾች) ከአላህ ሌላ አማላጆችን ያዙ፡፡ «እነርሱ ምንንም የማይችሉና የማያውቁ ቢኾኑም?» በላቸው፡፡ | (43) Or have they taken besides Allah others as intercessors? Say, “Even though they have no power nor do they understand?” |
| (44) «ምልጃ መላውም የአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ የሰማያትና የምድር ሥልጣን የእርሱ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከዚያም ወደእርሱ ትመለሳላችሁ» በላቸው፡፡ | (44) Say, “All intercession belongs to Allah alone. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth, then to Him you will be returned.” |
| (45) አላህም ብቻውን በተወሳ ጊዜ የእነዚያ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም የማያምኑት ሰዎች ልቦች ይሸማቀቃሉ፤ (ይደነብራሉ)፡፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ የኾኑት (ጣዖታት) በተወሱ ጊዜ እነርሱ ወዲያውኑ ይደሰታሉ፡፡ | (45) When Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but as soon as those other than Him are mentioned, they rejoice. |
| (46) «ሰማያትንና ምድርን የፈጠርክ ሩቁንም ቅርቡንም ዐዋቂ የኾንክ አላህ ሆይ! አንተ በባሮችህ መካከል በእዚያ በእርሱ ይለያዩበት በነበሩት ነገር ትፈርዳለህ» በል፡፡ | (46) Say, “O Allah, Originator of the heavens and earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, it is you who will judge between Your slaves concerning that over which they used to differ. |
| (47) ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት በምድር ያለው ሁሉ መላውም ከእርሱ ጋር መሰሉም ቢኖራቸው ኖሮ በትንሣኤ ቀን ከቅጣቱ ክፋት የተነሳ በእርሱ ነፍሶቻቸውን በተበዡበት ነበር፡፡ ለእነርሱም ከአላህ ዘንድ ያስቡት ያልነበሩት ሁሉ ይገለጽላቸዋል፡፡ | (47) If the wrongdoers were to possess all that is on earth and the like of it, they would surely offer it to ransom themselves from the terrible punishment on the Day of Resurrection. There will appear to them from Allah what they had never anticipated. |
| (48) ለእነርሱም የሠሩዋቸው መጥፎዎቹ ይገለጹላቸዋል፡፡ በእነርሱም ላይ በእርሱ ያላግጡበት የነበሩት ቅጣት ይሰፍርባቸዋል፡፡ | (48) The evil consequences of their deeds will become apparent to them, and they will be overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule. |
| (49) ሰውም ጉዳት ባገኘው ጊዜ ይጠራናል፡፡ ከዚያም ከእኛ የኾነውን ጸጋ በሰጠነው ጊዜ «እርሱን የተሰጠሁት፤ በዕውቀት ብቻ ነው» ይላል፡፡ ይልቁንም እርሷ (ጸጋይቱ) መፈተኛ ናት፡፡ ግን አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም፡፡ | (49) When adversity befalls man, he cries out to Us. Then when We grant him a favor from Us, he says, “I have been granted this only because of my knowledge.” It is rather a test, but most of them do not know. |
| (50) እነዚያ ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ብለዋታል፡፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩትም ነገር ከእነርሱ አልጠቀማቸውም፡፡ | (50) It was already said by those before them, but all what they earned was of no avail to them, |
| (51) የሠሩዋቸውም መጥፎዎች (ቅጣት) አገኛቸው፡፡ ከእነዚህም እነዚያ የበደሉት የሠሩዋቸው መጥፎዎች (ፍዳ) በእርግጥ ይነካቸዋል፡፡ እነርሱም አምላጮች አይደሉም፡፡ | (51) Therefore the evil consequences of their deeds overtook them, and the wrongdoers among these [pagans] will be overtaken by the evil consequences of their deeds, and they will have no escape. |
| (52) አላህ ሲሳዩን ለሚሻው ሰው የሚያሰፋ የሚያጠብም መኾኑን አያውቁምን? በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያምኑት ሕዝቦች ግሣጼዎች አሉበት፡፡ | (52) Do they not know that Allah extends provision to whom He wills or restricts it? Indeed, there are signs in this for people who believe. |
| (53) በላቸው «እናንተ በነፍሶቻችሁ ላይ ድንበር ያለፋችሁ ባሮቼ ሆይ! ከአላህ እዝነት ተስፋ አትቁረጡ፡፡ አላህ ኃጢኣቶችን በመላ ይምራልና፡፡ እነሆ እርሱ መሓሪው አዛኙ ነውና፡፡ | (53) Say [Allah says], “O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for indeed Allah forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. |
| (54) «ቅጣቱም ወደእናንተ ከመምጣቱና ከዚያም የማትርረዱ ከመኾናችሁ በፊት ወደ ጌታችሁ (በመጸጸት) ተመለሱ፡፡ ለእርሱም ታዘዙ፡፡ | (54) Turn to your Lord [in repentance] and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you, for then you will not be helped. |
| (55) «እናንተ የማታውቁ ስትኾኑም ቅጣቱ በድንገት ሳይመጣባችሁ በፊት ከጌታችሁ ወደናንተ የተወረደውን መልካሙን (መጽሐፍ) ተከተሉ፡፡» | (55) Follow the best of what has been sent down to you all from your Lord, before the punishment comes upon you by surprise while you are unaware, |
| (56) (የካደች) ነፍስ «እኔ ከሚሳለቁት የነበርኩ ስኾን በአላህ በኩል ባጓደልኩት ዋ ጸጸቴ» ማለቷን (ለመፍራት)፤ | (56) Lest someone should say, “Woe to me for neglecting my duties towards Allah and for being among those who mocked [the truth]”; |
| (57) ወይም «አላህ በመራኝ ኖሮ ከሚጠነቀቁት እኾን ነበር» ማለቷን (ለመፍራት)፡፡ | (57) or says, “If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous”; |
| (58) ወይም ቅጣቱን በምታይ ጊዜ «ለእኔ (ወደ ምድረ ዓለም) አንድ ጊዜ መመለስ በኖረኝና ከበጎ አድራጊዎቹ በኾንኩ» ማለቷን (ለመፍራት መልካሙን ተከተሉ)፡፡ | (58) or says, upon seeing the punishment, “If only I had another chance, I could be among those who do good.” |
| (59) የለም ተመርተሃል፡፡ አንቀጾቼ በእርግጥ መጥተውልሃል፡፡ በእነርሱም አስተባብለሃል፡፡ ኮርተሃልም፡፡ ከከሓዲዎቹም ኾነሃል፤ (ይባላል)፡፡ | (59) [Allah will say,] “No indeed! My verses had already come to you, but you rejected them and acted arrogantly, and you were among the disbelievers.” |
| (60) በትንሣኤ ቀንም እነዚያን በአላህ ላይ የዋሹትን ፊቶቻቸው የጠቆሩ ኾነው ታያቸዋለህ፡፡ በገሀነም ውስጥ ለትዕቢተኞች መኖሪያ የለምን? | (60) On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah with their faces darkened. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant? |
| (61) እነዚያንም የተጠነቀቁትን በማግኛቸው ስፍራ ኾነው አላህ ያድናቸዋል፡፡ ክፉ ነገር አይነካቸውም፡፡ እነርሱም አያዝኑም፡፡ | (61) But Allah will save those who fear Him, for they have attained salvation; no harm will touch them, nor will they grieve. |
| (62) አላህ የነገሩ ሁሉ ፈጣሪ ነው፡፡ እርሱም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ አስተናባሪ ነው፡፡ | (62) Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Maintainer of everything. |
| (63) የሰማያትና የምድር (ድልብ) መክፈቻዎች የእርሱ ብቻ ናቸው፡፡ እነዚያም በአላህ አንቀጾች የካዱት እነዚያ እነሱ ከሳሪዎቹ ናቸው፡፡ | (63) To Him belong the keys of the heavens and earth. As for those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, it is they who are the losers. |
| (64) «እናንተ መሃይማን ሆይ! ከአላህ ሌላን እንድግገዛ ታዙኛላችሁን?» በላቸው፡፡ | (64) Say [O Prophet], “Do you order me to worship other than Allah, O ignorant people?” |
| (65) ብታጋራ ሥራህ በእርግጥ ይታበሳል፡፡ በእርግጥም ከከሓዲዎቹ ትኾናለህ ማለት ወደ አንተም ወደእነዚያም ካንተ በፊት ወደነበሩት በእርግጥ ተወርዷል፡፡ | (65) It has already been revealed to you and to those who came before you that if you associate others with Allah, your deeds will surely become worthless, and you will certainly be among the losers. |
| (66) ይልቅ አላህን ብቻ ተገዛም፡፡ ከአመስጋኞቹም ኹን፡፡ | (66) Rather, worship Allah alone and be among those who are grateful. |
| (67) አላህንም በትንሣኤ ቀን ምድር በመላ ጭብጡ ስትኾን፤ ሰማያትም በኀይሉ የሚጠቀለሉ ሲኾኑ (ከርሱ ጋር ሌላን በማጋራታቸው) ተገቢ ክብሩን አላከበሩትም፡፡ ከሚያጋሩት ጠራ፤ ላቀም፡፡ | (67) They did not revere Allah His true reverence. On the Day of Resurrection, the whole earth will be in His Grip, and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified and exalted is He above all what they associate with Him! |
| (68) በቀንዱም ይንነፋል፡፡ በሰማያት ውስጥ ያለው ፍጡርና በምድርም ውስጥ ያለው ፍጡር ሁሉ አላህ የሻው ሲቀር በድንጋጤ ይሞታል፡፡ ከዚያም በእርሱ ሌላ (መንነፋት) ይንነፋል፡፡ ወዲያውም እነርሱ (የሚሠራባቸውን) የሚጠባበቁ ኾነው ቋሚዎች ይኾናሉ፡፡ | (68) The Trumpet will be blown and all those in the heavens and all those on earth will fall dead, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on. |
| (69) ምድርም በጌታዋ ብርሃን ታበራለች፡፡ መጽሐፉም ይቅቀረባል፡፡ ነቢያቱና ምስክሮቹም ይመጣሉ፡፡ በመካከላቸውም በእውነት ይፈረዳል፡፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም፡፡ | (69) The earth will shine with the light of its Lord, the record of deeds will be laid open, the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth, and judgment will be passed between them with fairness, and they will not be wronged. |
| (70) ነፍስም ሁሉ የሠራችውን ሥራ ትሞላለች፤ (ትሰፈራለች)፡፡ እርሱም የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ | (70) Every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, for He knows best what they do. |
| (71) እነዚያ የካዱትም የተከፋፈሉ ጭፍሮች ኾነው ወደ ገሀነም ይንነዳሉ፡፡ በመጧትም ጊዜ ደጃፎችዋ ይከፈታሉ፡፡ ዘበኞችዋም «ከእናንተ የኾኑ መልክተኞች የጌታችሁን አንቀጾች | (71) Those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, until when they reach it, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say to them, “Did there not come to you messengers from among you, reciting the verses of your Lord and warning you of your meeting of this Day?” They will say, “Yes indeed, but the decree of punishment has come to pass against the disbelievers.” |
| (72) «የገሀነምን ደጃፎች በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ስትኾኑ ግቡ፡፡ የትዕቢተኞችም መኖሪያ ምን ትከፋ!» ይባላሉ፡፡ | (72) It will be said, “Enter the gates of Hell, abiding therein forever.” What a terrible abode for the arrogant! |
| (73) እነዚያም ጌታቸውን የፈሩት የተከፋፈሉ ጭፍሮች ኾነው ወደ ገነት ይንነዳሉ፡፡ በመጧትም ጊዜ ደጃፎችዋ የተከፈቱ ሲኾኑ ዘበኞችዋም ለእነርሱ «ሰላም በናንተ ላይ ይኹን፡፡ ተዋባችሁ፡፡ ዘውታሪዎች ኾናችሁ ግቧት» በሏቸው ጊዜ (ይገቧታል)፡፡ | (73) But those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, until when they reach it, its gates will be wide open, and its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you. You have done well, so enter it, abiding forever.” |
| (74) «ምስጋና ለአላህ ለዚያ ተስፋ ቃሉን ለሞላልን፡፡ የገነትን ምድር በምንሻው ስፍራ የምንሰፍር ስንኾን ላወረሰን ይገባው» ይላሉም፡፡ የሠሪዎችም ምንዳ ምን ያምር! | (74) They will say, “All praise be to Allah Who has fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the land to dwell wherever we please in Paradise.” How excellent is the reward of those who do [good]! |
| (75) መላእክትንም በጌታቸው ምስጋና ቀላቅለው የሚያጠሩ ሲኾኑ በዐርሹ ዙሪያ ከባቢዎች ኾነው ታያለህ፡፡ በመካከላቸው በእውነት ይፈረዳል፡፡ ይባላልም፤ «ምስጋና ለአላህ ለዓለማት ጌታ ይገባው፡፡» | (75) You will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise, and matters will be settled between them with justice, and it will be said: All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.” |
