35 – Faatir
| (1) ምስጋና ሰማያትንና ምድርን ፈጣሪ፣ መላእክትን ባለ ሁለት ሁለት፣ ባለ ሶስት ሶስትም፣ ባለ አራት አራትም ክንፎች የኾኑ መልክተኞች አድራጊ ለኾነው አላህ ይገባው፡፡ በፍጥረቱ ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይጨምራል፡፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነውና፡፡ | (1) All praise be to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and earth, Who made the angels messengers with two, three, or four wings. He increases in creation whatever He wills. Indeed, Allah is Most Capable of all things. |
| (2) አላህ ለሰዎች ከችሮታ የሚከፍታት ለእርሷ ምንም አጋጅ የላትም፡፡ የሚያግደውም ከእርሱ በኋላ ለእርሱ ምንም ለቃቂ የለውም፡፡ እርሱም አሸነፊው ጥበበኛው ነው፡፡ | (2) Whatever mercy Allah opens up for people, none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds, none can release it thereafter, for He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise. |
| (3) እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! በእናንተ ላይ (ያለውን) የአላህን ጸጋ አስታውሱ፡፡ ከአላህ ሌላ ፈጣሪ አለን? ከሰማይና ከምድርም ሲሳይን የሚሰጣችሁ አለን? ከእርሱ በስተቀር አምላክ (ሰጪም) የለም፡፡ ታዲያ ወዴት ትዞራላችሁ፡፡ | (3) O people, remember Allah’s favor upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who gives you provision from the heaven and earth? None has the right to be worshiped except Him. How can you then be deluded? |
| (4) ቢያስተባብሉህም ከአንተ በፊት የነበሩ መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ተስተባብለዋል፡፡ ወደ አላህም ነገሮች ሁሉ ይመለሳሉ፡፡ | (4) If they reject you, there were messengers rejected before you; it is to Allah that all matters will be returned. |
| (5) እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነው፡፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት አታታላችሁ፡፡ አታላዩም (ሰይጣን) በአላህ (መታገስ) አያታላችሁ፡፡ | (5) O people, indeed Allah’s promise is true, so do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the Deceiver [Satan] deceive you concerning Allah. |
| (6) ሰይጣን ለናንተ ጠላት ነው፡፡ ስለዚህ ጠላት አድርጋችሁ ያዙት፡፡ ተከታዮቹን የሚጠራው ከእሳት ጓዶች እንዲኾኑ ብቻ ነው፡፡ | (6) Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only calls his followers to be among the inmates of the Blazing Fire. |
| (7) እነዚያ የካዱት ለእነርሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ እነዚያም ያመኑትና በጎ ስራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነርሱ ምሕረትና ታላቅ ምንዳ አልላቸው፡፡ | (7) Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, but those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and a great reward. |
| (8) መጥፎ ሥራው የተሸለመለትና መልካም አድርጎ ያየው ሰው (አላህ እንዳቀናው ሰው ነውን?) አላህም የሚሻውን ሰው ያጠምማል፡፡ የሚሻውንም ያቀናል፡፡ ስለዚህ በእነርሱ ላይ (ባለመቅናታቸው) ስለመቆላጨት ነፍስህ አትጥፋ፡፡ አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡ | (8) Is one whose evil deed is made appealing to him so he deems it good [like one who is rightly guided]? It is Allah who causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself collapse in grief for them. Allah is All-Knowing of what they do. |
| (9) አላህም ያ ነፋሶችን የላከ ነው፡፡ ደመናዎችንም ትቀሰቅሳለች፤ ወደ ሙት (ድርቅ) አገርም እንነዳዋለን፡፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው እናደርጋታለን፡፡ ሙታንንም | (9) It is Allah Who sends the winds which stir up clouds, then We drive them to a dead land, and revive therewith the earth after its death. Such will be the Resurrection. |
| (10) ማሸነፍን የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው አሸናፊነት ለአላህ ብቻ ነው፤ (እርሱን በመግገዛት ይፈልገው)፡፡ መልካም ንግግር ወደርሱ ይወጣል፡፡ በጎ ሥራም ከፍ ያደርገዋል፡፡ እነዚያም መጥፎ ሥራዎችን የሚዶልቱ ለእነሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ የእነዚያም ተንኮል እርሱ ይጠፋል፡፡ | (10) Whoever seeks honor, then all honor belongs to Allah alone. To Him ascend good words, and righteous deeds raise them. But those who plan evil deeds there will be a severe punishment for them, and the plans of such people will perish. |
| (11) አላህም ከዐፈር፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፈጠራችሁ፡፡ ከዚያም ጎሳዎች አደረጋችሁ፡፡ ሴትም አታረግዝም አትወልድምም በዕውቀቱ ቢኾን እንጂ፡፡ ዕድሜው ከሚረዘምም አንድም አይረዘምም ከዕድሜውም አይጎደልም በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ያለ ቢኾን እንጂ፡፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው፡፡ | (11) It is Allah Who created you from dust, then from a drop of semen, then He made you into pairs. No female conceives nor gives birth without His knowledge. None is given long life or cut short of his life except that it is in a Record. That is surely easy for Allah. |
| (12) ሁለቱ ባሕሮችም አይተካከሉም! ይህ ጣፋጭ፣ ጥምን ቆራጭ፣ መጠጡ በገር ተዋጭ ነው፡፡ ይህኛውም ጨው መርጋጋ ነው፡፡ እርጥብ ስጋንም ከሁሉም ትበላላችሁ፡፡ (ከጨው ባሕር) የምትለብሷትንም ጌጥ ታወጣላችሁ፡፡ ከችሮታው ልትፈልጉና ልታመሰግኑም መርከቦችን በእርሱ ውስጥ ውሃውን ቀዳጆች ኾነው (ሲንሻለሉ) ታያለህ፡፡ | (12) The two bodies of water are not alike: one is fresh and palatable, pleasant to drink, and the other is salty and bitter. Yet from each you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments to wear. And you see the ships traverse their way through both, so that you may seek His bounty and so that you may give thanks. |
| (13) ሌሊትን በቀን ውስጥ ያስገባል፡፡ ቀንንም በሌሊት ውሰጥ ያስገባል፤ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ገራ፡፡ ሁሉም እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ይሮጣሉ፡፡ ይህ ጌታችሁ አላህ ነው፡፡ ንግሥናው የእርሱ ብቻ ነው፡፡ እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸው የተምር ፍሬ ሽፋን እንኳ አይኖራቸውም፡፡ | (13) He merges the night into the day and the day into the night, and subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord. To Him belongs the dominion, whereas those whom you invoke besides Him do not own so much as the membrane of a date stone. |
| (14) ብትጠሩዋቸው ጥሪያችሁን አይሰሙም፡፡ ቢሰሙም ኖሮ ለእናንተ አይመልሱላችሁም፡፡ በትንሣኤም ቀን (እነርሱን በአላህ) ማጋራታችሁን ይክዳሉ፡፡ እንደ ውስጠ ዐዋቂው ማንም አይነግርህም፡፡ | (14) If you call upon them, they cannot hear your call, and even if they were to hear, they could not respond to you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown your associating them as partners with Allah. And none can inform you like the All-Aware. |
| (15) እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! እናንተ (ሁል ጊዜ) ወደ አላህ ከጃዮች ናችሁ፡፡ አላህም እርሱ ተብቃቂው ምስጉኑ ነው፡፡ | (15) O people, it is you who are in need of Allah, whereas Allah is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy. |
| (16) ቢሻ ያስወግዳችኋል፡፡ አዲስንም ፍጡር ያመጣል፡፡ | (16) If He wills, He can eliminate you and bring in a new creation, |
| (17) ይህም በአላህ ላይ ምንም አስቸጋሪ አይደለም፡፡ | (17) for that is not difficult for Allah. |
| (18) ኀጢአትን ተሸካሚም (ነፍስ) የሌላዋን ሸክም አትሸከምም፡፡ የተከበደችም (ነፍስ) ወደ ሸክሟ ብትጣራ (ተጠሪው) የቅርብ ዝምድና ባለቤት ቢኾንም እንኳ ከእርሷ አንዳችን የሚሸከምላት አታገኝም፡፡ የምታስጠነቅቀው እነዚያን ጌታቸውን በሩቅ የሚፈሩትን፣ ሶላትንም አስተካክለው ያደረሱትን ብቻ ነው፡፡ የተጥራራም ሰው የሚጥራራው ለራሱ ብቻ ነው፡፡ መመለሻም ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ | (18) No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. If a heavily-laden soul calls for help to bear its burden, nothing of it will be carried, even if he is a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and establish prayer. Whoever purifies himself, he only does so for his own benefit. To Allah is the final return. |
| (19) ዕውሩና የሚያየውም አይስተካከሉም፡፡ | (19) The blind and the seeing are not equal, |
| (20) ጨለማዎችና ብርሃንም፤ (እንደዚሁ)፡፡ | (20) nor are the depths of darkness and the light, |
| (21) ጥላና ሐሩርም፡፡ | (21) nor the shade and the scorching wind. |
| (22) ሕያዋንና ሙታንም አይስተካከሉም፡፡ አላህ የሚሻውን ሰው ያሰማል፡፡ አንተም በመቃብር ውስጥ ያሉትን አሰሚ አይደለህም፡፡ | (22) Nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make to hear those who are in the graves. |
| (23) አንተ አስጠንቃቂ እንጂ ሌላ አይደለህም፡፡ | (23) You are but a warner. |
| (24) እኛ አብሳሪና አስፈራሪ አድርገን በእውነቱ (መምሪያ) ላክንህ፡፡ ማንኛይቱም ሕዝብ በውስጧ አስፈራሪ ያላለፈባት የለችም፡፡ | (24) We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. There has never been any community except that a warner came to it. |
| (25) ቢያስተባብሉህም እነዚያ ከበፊታቸው የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል፡፡ መልክተኞቻቸው | (25) If they reject you, so did those who came before them. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, divine scriptures, and an enlightening Book. |
| (26) ከዚያም እነዚያን የካዱትን ያዝኳቸው፡፡ ቅጣቴም እንዴት ነበር! (በስፍራው ነው)፡፡ | (26) Then I seized those who disbelieved. How severe was My response! |
| (27) አላህ ከሰማይ ውሃን ማውረዱን አላየህምን? በእርሱም ዓይነቶቻቸው የተለያዩ ፍሬዎችን አወጣን፡፡ ከጋራዎችም መልኮቻቸው የተለያዩ ነጮች፣ ቀዮችም፣ በጣም ጥቁሮችም የኾኑ መንገዶች አልሉ፡፡ | (27) Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, then We bring forth thereby fruits of various colors? And in the mountains there are various tracts of white and red, of various colors, and raven black; |
| (28) ከሰዎችም፣ ከተንቀሳቃሾችም፣ ከቤት እንሰሳዎችም እንደዚሁ መልኮቻቸው የተለያዩ አልሉ፡፡ አላህን ከባሮቹ ውስጥ የሚፈሩት ዐዋቂዎቹ ብቻ ናቸው፡፡ አላህ አሸናፊ መሓሪ ነው፡፡ | (28) just as humans, animals and livestock are of various colors. Only the people of knowledge among His slaves fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Forgiving. |
| (29) እነዚያ የአላህን መጽሐፍ የሚያነቡ፣ ሶላትንም አስተካክለው ያደረሱ፣ ከሰጠናቸውም ሲሳይ በምስጢርም ኾነ በግልጽ የለገሱ፣ በፍጹም የማትከስርን ንግድ ተስፋ ያደርጋሉ፡፡ | (29) Those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hoping for a deal that will suffer no loss, |
| (30) ምንዳዎቻቸውን ሊሞላላቸው፣ ከችሮታውም ሊጨምርላቸው (ተስፋ ያደርጋሉ)፡፡ እርሱ በጣም መሓሪ አመስጋኝ ነውና፡፡ | (30) so that He will reward them in full and give them more out of His bounty. He is All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative. |
| (31) ያም ከመጽሐፉ ወዳንተ ያወረድንልህ ከበፊቱ ላለው አረጋጋጭ ሲኾን እርሱ እውነት ነው፡፡ አላህ በርግጥ በባሮቹ ውስጥ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች ነው፡፡ | (31) The Book that We have revealed to you [O Prophet] is the truth, confirming that which came before it. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware and All-Seeing of His slaves. |
| (32) ከዚያም እነዚያን ከባሮቻችን የመረጥናቸውን መጽሐፉን አወረስናቸው፡፡ ከእነርሱም ነፍሱን በዳይ አልለ፡፡ ከእነርሱም መካከለኛ አልለ፡፡ ከእነሱም በአላህ ፈቃድ በበጎ ሥራዎች ቀዳሚ አልለ፡፡ ያ (ማውረስ)፤ እርሱ ታላቅ ችሮታ ነው፡፡ | (32) Then We made to inherit the Book those whom We have chosen from among Our slaves. But among them are some who wrong themselves, some follow a middle course, and some are foremost in good deeds with Allah’s permission. That is the great bounty. |
| (33) የመኖሪያ ገነቶችን በውስጧ የወርቅ አንባሮችን፣ ሉልንም የሚሸለሙ ኾነው ይገቡባታል፡፡ በእርሷ ውስጥ አልባሳታቸውም ሐር ነው፡፡ | (33) They will enter Gardens of Eternity; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments will be of silk. |
| (34) ይላሉም «ምስጋና ለእዚያ ከእኛ ላይ ሐዘንን ላስወገደልን አላህ ይገባው፡፡ ጌታችን በጣም መሓሪ አመስጋኝ ነውና፡፡ | (34) And they will say, “All praise be to Allah Who has taken away from us all sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative, |
| (35) (እርሱም) ያ ከችሮታው የዘላለም መኖሪያን አገር ያሰፈረን ነው፡፡ በእርሷ ውስጥ መከራ አይነካንም፡፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ድካም አይነካንም፡፡» | (35) He Who has caused us to settle – out of His grace – in the everlasting home, wherein no weariness or fatigue will touch us.” |
| (36) እነዚያ የካዱትም ለእነርሱ የገሀነም እሳት አልላቸው፡፡ ይሞቱ ዘንድ በእነርሱ ላይ (በሞት) አይፈረድም፡፡ ከቅጣቷም ከእነርሱ አይቀለልላቸውም፡፡ እንደዚሁ ከሓዲን ሁሉ እንመነዳለን፡፡ | (36) As for those who disbelieve, for them there will be the Fire of Hell; neither will they be sentenced to death, so that they may die, nor will its punishment be lightened for them. This is how We recompense every disbeliever. |
| (37) እነርሱም በርሷ ውስጥ እርዳታን በመፈለግ በኀይል ይጮሃሉ፡፡ «ጌታችን ሆይ! ከእዚያ እንሠራው ከነበርነው ሌላ በጎ ሥራን እንሠራ ዘንድ አውጣን» (ይላሉ)፡፡ «በእርሱ ውስጥ ያስታወሰ ሰው የሚገሰጽበትን ዕድሜ አላቆየናችሁምን? አስጠንቃቂውም መጥቶላችኋል (አስተባብላችኋልም)፡፡ ስለዚህ ቅመሱ፡፡ ለበደለኞችም ምንም ረዳት የላቸውም» (ይባላሉ)፡፡ | (37) They will be screaming therein, “Our Lord, take us out; we will do righteous deeds, unlike what we used to do.” [They will be told], “Did We not give you long enough lives to take heed for anyone who wished to take heed? And the warner did come to you. So taste! The wrongdoers will have no helper.” |
| (38) አላህ የሰማያትንና የምድርን ምስጢር በእርግጥ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ እርሱ በልቦች ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡ | (38) Allah is the Knower of the unseen in the heavens and earth. He is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts. |
| (39) እርሱ ያ በምድር ውስጥ ምትኮች ያደረጋችሁ ነው፡፡ የካደም ሰው ክህደቱ በእርሱው ላይ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከሓዲዎችንም ክሕደታቸው ከጌታቸው ዘንድ መጠላትን እንጂ ሌላ አይጨመርላቸውም፡፡ ከሓዲዎችንም ክሕደታቸው ከሳራን እንጂ አይጨምርላቸውም፡፡ | (39) It is He Who has made you successors on earth. Whoever disbelieves will bear the burden of his disbelief. Their disbelief only increases the disbelievers in contempt before their Lord, and their disbelief only increases the disbelievers in loss. |
| (40) በላቸው «እነዚያን ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውን ተጋሪዎቻችሁን አያችሁን? ከምድር ምንን እንደ ፈጠሩ አሳዩኝ፡፡ ወይስ ለእነርሱ በሰማያት ውስጥ ሽርክና አላቸውን? ወይስ መጽሐፍን ሰጠናቸውና እነርሱ ከርሱ በግልጽ አስረጅ ላይ ናቸውን? አይደለም በደለኞች ከፊላቸው ከፊሉን ማታለልን እንጂ አይቀጥሩም፡፡» | (40) Say, “Tell me about your associate-gods whom you supplicate besides Allah. Show me what they created on earth, or do they have a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book so they have a clear proof? No, the wrongdoers promise one another nothing but delusion.” |
| (41) አላህ ሰማያትንና ምድርን እንዳይወገዱ ይይዛቸዋል፡፡ ቢወገዱም ከእርሱ ሌላ አንድም የሚይዛቸው የለም፡፡ እነሆ እርሱ ታጋሽ መሓሪ ነውና፡፡ | (41) Allah keeps the heavens and earth from vanishing. If they were to vanish, there is none to sustain them other than Him. He is Most Forbearing, All-Forgiving. |
| (42) አስፈራሪም ቢመጣላቸው ከሕዝቦቹ ሁሉ ከአንደኛዋ ይበልጥ የተመሩ ሊኾኑ የመሓላቸውን ድካ አድርሰው በአላህ ማሉ፡፡ አስፈራሪም በመጣላቸው ጊዜ መበርገግን እንጂ ሌላ አልጨመረላቸውም፡፡ | (42) They swore by Allah their most solemn oaths that if a warner came to them, they would surely be more guided than any other community. But when a warner came to them, it only added to their aversion – |
| (43) በምድር ላይ ኩራትንና በክፉ (ተንኮል) መዶለትንም (እንጂ አልጨመረላቸውም፡፡ ክፉ ተንኮልም በባለቤቱ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይሰፍርም፡፡ የቀድሞዎቹን ደንብ እንጂ ይጠባበቃሉን? ለአላህ ደንብም መልለወጥን አታገኝም፡፡ ለአላህ ደንብም መዛወርን አታገኝም፡፡ | (43) due to their arrogance in the land and plotting evil, but evil plotting only backfires on its own people. Are they awaiting anything other than the fate of the earlier peoples? You will find no change in Allah’s way, and you will find no alteration in Allah’s way. |
| (44) በምድር ላይ አይኼዱምና የእነዚያን ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩትን ሰዎች መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ አይመለከቱምን? ከእነርሱም በኀይል የበረቱ ነበሩ፡፡ አላህም በሰማያትም ኾነ በምድር ውስጥ ምንም ነገር የሚያቅተው አይደለም፡፡ እርሱ ዐዋቂ ቻይ ነውና፡፡ | (44) Have they not traveled in the land to see what was the end of those who came before them. They were more powerful than them? Allah is not such that something can escape Him in the heavens or on earth. He is indeed All-Knowing, Most Capable. |
| (45) አላህም ሰዎችን በሠሩት ኀጢአት ቢይዝ ኖሮ በወለሏ (በምድር) ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ | (45) If Allah were to take people to task for what they did, He would not leave a single living being on earth, but He gives them respite for an appointed term. When their appointed time comes, then Allah is All-Seeing of His slaves. |
