30 – Ar-Room
| (1) አ.ለ.መ (አሊፍ ላም ሚም)፡፡ | (1) Alif Lām Mīm. |
| (2) ሩም ተሸነፈች፡፡ | (2) The Romans have been defeated |
| (3) በጣም ቅርብ በሆነችው ምድር፡፡ እነርሱም ከመሸነፋቸው በኋላ በእርግጥ ያሸንፋሉ፡፡ | (3) in a nearby land, but they will gain victory after their defeat |
| (4) በጥቂት ዓመታት ውስጥ (ያሸንፋሉ)፡፡ ትዕዛዙ በፊትም በኋላም የአላህ ነው፡፡ በዚያ ቀንም ምእመናን ይደሰታሉ፡፡ | (4) within a few years. To Allah belongs the whole matter before and after [the victory]. On that day the believers will rejoice |
| (5) በአላህ እርዳታ (ይደሰታሉ)፡፡ የሚሻውን ሰው ይረዳል፤ እርሱም አሸናፊው አዛኙ ነው፡፡ | (5) at the victory granted by Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. |
| (6) አላህ እርዳታን ቀጠረ፡፡ አላህ ቀጠሮውን አያፈርስም፡፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያውቁም፡፡ | (6) This is the promise of Allah. Allah never breaks His promise, but most people do not know. |
| (7) ከቅርቢቱ ህይወት ግልጹን ብቻ ያውቃሉ፡፡ እነርሱም ከኋለኛይቱ ዓለም እነርሱ ዘንጊዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (7) They only know the apparent life of this world, but they are heedless of the Hereafter. |
| (8) በነፍሶቻቸው (ሁኔታ) አያስተውሉምን? ሰማያትንና ምድርን በመካከላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ አላህ በእውነትና በተወሰነ ጊዜ እንጂ አልፈጠራቸውም፡፡ ከሰዎቹም ብዙዎቹ በጌታቸው መገናኘት ከሓዲዎች ናቸው፡፡ | (8) Do they not reflect on themselves? Allah did not create the heavens and earth and all that is between them except for a true purpose and for an appointed term, but most people deny the meeting with their Lord. |
| (9) በምድር ላይ አይኼዱምና የእነዚያን ከበፊታቸው የነበሩትን ሰዎች ፍጻሜ እንዴት እንደነበረ አይመለከቱምን? በኀይል ከእነርሱም ይበልጥ የጠነከሩ ነበሩ፡፡ ምድርንም አረሱ፡፡ (እነዚህ) ከአለሟትም የበዛ አለሟት፡፡ መልዕክተ ኞቻቸውም በተዓምራቶች መጡባቸው፤ (አስተባበሉምና ጠፉ)፡፡ አላህም የሚበድላቸው አልነበረም፤ ግን ነፍሶቻቸውን ይበድሉ ነበሩ፡፡ | (9) Have they not traveled through the land to see how was the end of those who came before them? They were more powerful than them, and they tilled the land and built it more than these people have ever built. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. It was not Allah Who wronged them, but it was they who wronged themselves. |
| (10) ከዚያም የእነዚያ ያጠፉት ሰዎች መጨረሻ በአላህ አንቀጾች በማስተባበላቸውና በእርሷ የሚሳለቁ በመኾናቸው ምክንያት መጥፎ ቅጣት ሆነች፡፡ | (10) Then the end of the evildoers was utterly evil because they rejected the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them. |
| (11) አላህ መፍጠርን ይጀምራል፡፡ ከዚያም ይመልሰዋል፤ ከዚያም ወደርሱ ትመለሳላችሁ፡፡ | (11) Allah brings the creation into being, then He will repeat it, then to Him you will be returned. |
| (12) ሰዓቲቱም በምትቆምበት ቀን አመጸኞች ጭጭ ይላሉ፡፡ | (12) On the Day when the Hour begins, the wicked will be in utmost despair. |
| (13) ለእነርሱም ከሚያጋሩዋቸው (ጣዖታት) አማላጆች አይኖሯቸውም፤ በሚያጋሯቸውም (ጣዖታት) ከሓዲዎች ይኾናሉ፡፡ | (13) They will have no intercessors among their [so-called] partners, rather they will disown those partners. |
| (14) ሰዓቲቱ በምትቆምበት ቀንም በዚያ ቀን ይለያያሉ፡፡ | (14) On the Day when the Hour begins, the people will then be separated: |
| (15) እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካሞችን ሥራዎች የሠሩትማ እነርሱ በገነት ጨፌ ውስጥ ይደሰታሉ፡፡ | (15) As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, they will be rejoicing in a garden [of Paradise]. |
| (16) እነዚያም የካዱትማ በአንቀጾቻችንና በኋለኛይቱም ዓለም መገናኘት ያስተባበሉት እነዚያ በቅጣቱ ውስጥ የሚጣዱ ናቸው፡፡ | (16) And as for those who disbelieved, and rejected Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter, they will be arraigned for punishment. |
| (17) አላህንም በምታመሹ ጊዜ በምታነጉም ጊዜ አጥሩት፤ (ስገዱለት)፡፡ | (17) So glory be to Allah in the evening and in the morning, |
| (18) ምስጋናም በሰማያትና በምድር ውስጥ ለርሱ ብቻ (የተገባው) ነው፡፡ በሰርክም፤ በቀትር ውስጥ በምትገቡም ጊዜ፤ (አጥሩት)፡፡ | (18) and all praise is due to Him in the heavens and earth – and [glorify Him] in the afternoon and at noon. |
| (19) ሕያውን ከሙት ያወጣል፡፡ ሙታንም ከሕያው ያወጣል፡፡ ምድርንም ከሞተች በኋላ ህያው ያደርጋታል፡፡ እንደዚሁም (ከመቃብር) ትወጣላችሁ፡፡ | (19) He brings the living out of the dead and the dead out of the living, and gives life to the earth after its death. This is how you will be brought forth. |
| (20) እናንተንም ከዐፈር መፍጠሩ ከዚያም እናንተ ወዲያውኑ የምትበታተኑ ሰዎች መኾናችሁ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ | (20) Among His signs is that He created you from dust, then you became human beings spreading [on the earth]. |
| (21) ለእናንተም ከነፍሶቻችሁ (ከጎሶቻችሁ) ሚስቶችን ወደእነርሱ ትረኩ ዘንድ መፍጠሩ፣ በመካከላችሁም ፍቅርንና እዝነትን ማድረጉ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያስተውሉ ሕዝቦች ተዓምራቶች አልሉ፡፡ | (21) And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves that you may find comfort in them, and He placed between you love and mercy. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who reflect. |
| (22) ሰማያትንና ምድርንም መፍጠሩ፣ የቋንቋዎቻችሁና የመልኮቻችሁም መለያየት፣ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለዐዋቂዎች ተዓምራቶች አልሉበት፡፡ | (22) And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colors. Indeed, there are signs in this for those who have knowledge. |
| (23) በሌሊትና በቀንም መተኛታችሁ፣ ከችሮታውም መፈለጋችሁ ከምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚሰሙ ሕዝቦች ተዓምራቶች አልሉበት፡፡ | (23) And among His signs is your sleep by night and day, and your seeking of His bounty [by day]. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who listen. |
| (24) ብልጭታንም ፈሪዎችና ከጃዮች ስትሆኑ ለእናንተ ማሳየቱ፣ ከሰማይም ውሃን ማውረዱ፣ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው ማድረጉ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያስቡ ሕዝቦች ተዓምራቶች አልሉበት፡፡ | (24) And among His signs is that He shows you lightning, causing fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, reviving therewith the earth after its death. Indeed, there are signs in this for people who understand. |
| (25) ሰማይና ምድርም (ያለምሰሶ) በትዕዛዙ መቆማቸው፣ ከዚያም (መልአኩ ለትንሣኤ) ከምድር ጥሪን በጠራችሁ ጊዜ እናንተ ወዲያውኑ የምትወጡ መሆናችሁ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ | (25) And among His signs is that the sky and earth are maintained by His command. Then when He calls you out of the earth, you will immediately come forth. |
| (26) በሰማያትና በምድር ያለው ሁሉ የእርሱ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ሁሉም ለእርሱ ታዛዦች ናቸው፡፡ | (26) To Him belong all those who are in the heavens and earth; all are devotedly obedient to Him. |
| (27) እርሱም ያ መፍጠርን የሚጀምር ከዚያም የሚመልሰው ነው፡፡ እርሱም (መመለሱ) በእርሱ ላይ በጣም ገር ነው፡፡ ለእርሱም በሰማያትም በምድርም ከፍተኛ ባሕርይ (አንድነትና ለእርሱ ብጤ የሌለው መኾን) አልለው፡፡ እርሱም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው፡፡ | (27) It is He Who originates the creation then repeats it, which is easier for Him. To Him belong the most sublime attributes in the heavens and earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. |
| (28) ለእናንተ ከነፍሶቻችሁ የሆነን ምሳሌ አደረገላችሁ፡፡ (እርሱም) እጆቻችሁ ከያዟቸው (ባሮች) ውስጥ በሰጠናችሁ ጸጋ ለእናንተ ተጋሪዎች አሏችሁን? ታዲያ እናንተና እነርሱ በእርሱ ትክክል ናችሁን? ነፍሶቻችሁን (ብጤዎቻችሁን) እንደምትፈሩ ትፈሯቸዋላችሁን? እንደዚሁ ለሚያስተውሉ ሕዝቦች፤ አንቀጾችን እንገልጻለን፡፡ | (28) He makes this comparison for you from your own lives: do you have among your slaves any partners who equally share with you whatever wealth we have given you, so you are fearing them as you fear one another? This is how We make the verses clear for people who understand. |
| (29) ይልቁንም እነዚያ የበደሉ ሰዎች ያለ ዕውቀት ዝንባሌዎቻቸውን ተከተሉ፡፡ አላህም ያጠመመውን ሰው የሚያቀናው ማነው? ለእነርሱም ከረዳቶች ምንም የላቸውም፡፡ | (29) In fact, the wrongdoers follow their own desires without any knowledge. Who can guide those whom Allah caused to stray? They will have no helpers. |
| (30) ወደ እውነት ተዘንባይ ኾነህም ፊትህን ለሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ፡፡ የአላህን ፍጥረት ያችን አላህ ሰዎችን በእርስዋ ላይ የፈጠረባትን (ሃይማኖት ያዟት)፡፡ የአላህን ፍጥረት መለወጥ የለም፡፡ ይህ ቀጥተኛ ሃይማኖት ነው፡፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያውቁም፡፡ | (30) Adhere sincerely to the true religion in all uprightness. This is the natural disposition with which Allah has created mankind. There is no change in Allah’s creation. This is the straight religion, but most people do not know. |
| (31) ወደእርሱ ተመላሾች ሆናቸሁ (የአላህን ሃይማኖት ያዙ)፡፡ ፍሩትም፡፡ ሶላትንም አስተካክላችሁ ስገዱ፡፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁኑ፡፡ | (31) Turn to Him [in repentance] and fear Him, and establish prayer, and do not be among those who associate partners with Allah, |
| (32) ከእነዚያ ሃይማኖታቸውን ከለያዩትና ክፍልፍሎችም ከሆኑት (አትሁኑ)፡፡ ሕዝብ ሁሉ እነሱ ዘንድ ባለው ነገር ተደሳቾች ናቸው፡፡ | (32) those who split up their religion and became sects, each party rejoicing in what it has. |
| (33) ሰዎችንም ችግር ባገኛቸው ጊዜ ጌታቸውን ወደርሱ ተመላሾች ሆነው ይጠሩታል፡፡ ከዚያም ከእርሱ ችሮታን ባቀመሳቸው ጊዜ ከእነርሱ ከፊሎቹ ወዲያውኑ በጌታቸው (ጣዖትን) ያጋራሉ፡፡ | (33) When people are afflicted with hardship, they cry out to their Lord, turning to Him penitently. But as soon as He gives them a taste of His mercy, some of them associate partners with their Lord, |
| (34) በሰጠናቸው ጸጋ ሊክዱ (ያጋራሉ)፡፡ ተጣቀሙም፤ በእርግጥም (መጨረሻችሁን) ወደፊት ታውቃላችሁ፡፡ | (34) showing their ingratitude for what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves for a while, but you will soon come to know. |
| (35) በእነርሱ ላይ አስረጅ አወረድን? ታዲያ እርሱ በዚያ በእርሱ ያጋሩ በነበሩት ነገር ይናገራልን;(የለም)፡፡ | (35) Is it that We have sent down to them any authority that speaks in support of their associating partners with Him? |
| (36) ሰዎችንም ችሮታን ባቀመስናቸው ገዜ በእርሷ ይደሰታሉ፡፡ እጆቻቸውም ባሳለፉት ምክንያት መከራ ብታገኛቸው ወዲያውኑ እነርሱ ተስፋ ይቆርጣሉ፡፡ | (36) When We give people a taste of mercy, they rejoice in pride. But when they are afflicted with evil because of what their hands have done, they fall into utter despair. |
| (37) አላህ ለሚሻው ሰው ሲሳይን የሚያሰፋ የሚያጠብም መሆኑን አያዩምን በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች አስደናቂ ምልክቶች አልሉበት፡፡ | (37) Do they not see that Allah extends provision to whom He wills or restricts it? Indeed, there are signs in this for people who believe. |
| (38) የዝምድናን ባለቤት ተገቢውን ስጠው፡፡ ለድኻም ለመንገደኛም (እርዳ)፡፡ ይህ ለእነዚያ የአላህን ፊት (ውዴታውን) ለሚሹ መልካም ነው፡፡ እነዚያም እነርሱ የፈለጉትን የሚያገኙ ናቸው፡፡ | (38) So give your close relatives their due, and the needy, and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah’s pleasure, and it is they who will be successful. |
| (39) ከበረከትም በሰዎች ገንዘቦች ውስጥ ይጨመር ዘንድ የምትሰጡት አላህ ዘንድ አይጨምርም፡፡ ከምጽዋትም የአላህን ፊት የምትሹ ሆናችሁ የምትሰጡት እነዚያ (ሰጪዎች) አበርካቾች እነርሱ ናቸው፡፡ | (39) Whatever you lend in usury in order to gain more at the expense of people’s wealth, it will not increase [in reward] with Allah. But whatever you give as charity, seeking Allah’s pleasure – it is they who will have multiple reward. |
| (40) አላህ ያ የፈጠራችሁ፣ ከዚያም ሲሳይን የሰጣችሁ፣ ከዚያም የሚገድላችሁ ከዚያም ሕያው የሚያደርጋችሁ ነው፡፡ ከምታጋሯቸው (ጣዖታት) ውስጥ ከዚህ ነገር አንዳችን የሚሠራ አለን ለአላህ ጥራት ይገባው፡፡ (በእርሱ) ከሚያጋሩትም ሁሉ ላቀ፡፡ | (40) It is Allah Who created you, then gave you provision, then He will cause you to die, and then will bring you back to life. Is there anyone of your [so-called] partners who can do anything of this? Glorified and Exalted is He far above what they associate with Him! |
| (41) የሰዎች እጆች በሠሩት ኃጢኣት ምክንያት የዚያን የሠሩትን ከፊሉን ያቀምሳቸው ዘንድ መከራው በየብስና በባሕር ተገለጠ፤ (ተሰራጨ)፡፡ እነርሱ ሊመለሱ ይከጀላልና፡፡ | (41) Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what people’s hands have earned, so that He may cause them to taste the consequence of some of their deeds, so that they may return. |
| (42) «በምድር ላይ ኺዱ የእነዚያንም በፊት የነበሩትን ሰዎች መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ» በላቸው፡፡ አብዛኞቻቸው አጋሪዎች ነበሩ፡፡ | (42) Say, “Travel through the land and see how was the end of those who came before – most of them associated partners with Allah.” |
| (43) ለርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን (የትንሣኤ ቀን) ከአላህ ሳይመጣ በፊት ፊትህን ወደ ቀጥተኛው | (43) Adhere sincerely to the true religion before there comes a Day that cannot be averted from Allah. On that Day people will be divided. |
| (44) የካደ ሰው ክህደቱ (ጠንቁ) በእርሱው ላይ ነው፡፡ መልካምም የሠሩ ለነፍሶቻቸው (ማረፊያዎችን) ያዘጋጃሉ፡፡ | (44) Whoever disbelieves will bear [the burden of] his disbelief, and whoever does righteous deeds, they are preparing for themselves [a place in Paradise], |
| (45) እነዚያን ያመኑትንና መልካሞችንም የሠሩትን ከችሮታው ይመነዳ ዘንድ (ይለያያሉ)፡፡ እርሱ ከሓዲዎችን አይወድምና፡፡ | (45) so that He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds out of His grace. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers. |
| (46) ነፋሶችንም (በዝናብ) ልታበስራችሁ፣ ከችሮታውም (በእርሷ) ሊያቀምሳችሁ፣ መርከቦችም በትዕዛዙ እንዲንሻለሉ፣ ከችሮታውም እንድትፈልጉ፣ ታመሰግኑትም ዘንድ መላኩ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው፡፡ | (46) Among His signs is that He sends the winds as harbingers [of rain], so that He may give you a taste of His mercy, and that the ships may sail by His command, and that you may seek His bounty, and so that you may be grateful. |
| (47) ከአንተ በፊትም መልክተኞችን ወደየሕዝቦቻቸው በእርግጥ ላክን፡፡ በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችም መጡባቸው፡፡ ከእነዚያ ካመጹትም ተበቀልን፡፡ ምእመኖቹንም መርዳት በእኛ ላይ ተገቢ ሆነ፡፡ | (47) Indeed, We sent before you messengers to their people, and they came to them with clear signs. Then We took vengeance on those who persisted in wickedness, for it is incumbent upon Us to help the believers. |
| (48) አላህ ያ ነፋሶችን የሚልክ ነው፡፡ ደመናንም ይቀሰቅሳሉ፡፡ በሰማይ ላይም እንደሚሻ ይዘረጋዋል፡፡ ቁርጥራጮችም ያደርገዋል፡፡ ዝናቡንም ከደመናው መካከል ሲወጣ ታያለህ፡፡ በእርሱም ከባሮቹ የሚሻውን በለየ ጊዜ ወዲያውኑ እነሱ ይደሰታሉ፡፡ | (48) It is Allah Who sends the winds that stir up clouds, then He spreads them in the sky as He wills, and He splits them into different fragments, then you see the rain pouring down from their midst. Then as soon as He makes it fall upon whoever He wills of His slaves, they rejoice, |
| (49) በእነርሱም ላይ ከመወረዱ በፊት ከእርሱ በፊት በእርግጥ ተስፋ ቆራጮች ነበሩ፡፡ | (49) although they had lost all hope before it was sent down to them. |
| (50) ምድርንም ከሞተች በኋላ እንዴት ሕያው እንደሚያደርጋት ወደ አላህ ችሮታ ፈለጎች ተመልከት፡፡ ይህ (አድራጊ) ሙታንንም በእርግጥ ሕያው አድራጊ ነው፡፡ እርሱም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው፡፡ | (50) See then the effects of Allah’s mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Indeed, it is He Who will raise the dead, and He is Most Capable of all things. |
| (51) ነፋስንም (በአዝመራዎች ላይ) ብንልክና ገርጥቶ ቢያዩት ከእርሱ በኋላ በእርግጥ (ችሮታውን) የሚክዱ ይሆናሉ፡፡ | (51) But if We send a [harmful] wind and they see [their crops] turning yellow, they become ungrateful thereafter. |
| (52) አንተም ሙታንን አታሰማም፡፡ ደንቆሮዎችንም ዟሪዎች ሆነው በሸሹ ጊዜ ጥሪን አታሰማም፡፡ | (52) You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs and walk away. |
| (53) አንተ ዕውሮችንም ከጥመታቸው የምታቀና አይደለህም፡፡ በአንቀጾቻችን የሚያምኑትን ሰዎች እንጂ ሌላን አታሰማም፡፡ እነርሱም ታዛዦች ናቸው፡፡ | (53) Nor can you guide the blind out of their misguidance. You cannot make anyone hear except those who believe in Our verses, for they are ready to submit [to Allah]. |
| (54) አላህ ያ ከደካማ (ፍትወት ጠብታ) የፈጠራችሁ ነው፡፡ ከዚያም ከደካማነት በኋላ ኀይልን አደረገ፡፡ ከዚያም ከብርቱነት በኋላ ደካማነትንና ሽበትን አደረገ፡፡ የሚሻውን ይፈጥራል፡፡ እርሱም ዐዋቂው ቻዩ ነው፡፡ | (54) It is Allah Who created you in a state of weakness, then after weakness He gave you strength, then after strength He made you weak and old. He creates what He wills, and He is the All-Knowing, the Most Capable. |
| (55) ሰዓቲቱ በምትሆንበት ቀን ከሓዲዎች «ከአንዲት ሰዓት በስተቀር (በመቃብር) አልቆየንም» ብለው ይምላሉ፡፡ እንደዚሁ (ከእውነት) ይመለሱ ነበሩ፡፡ | (55) On the Day when the Hour begins, the wicked will swear that they had not stayed [in this world] more than an hour. This is how they were deluded [from the truth]. |
| (56) እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት «በአላህ መጽሐፍ (ፍርድ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ፡፡ ይህም (የካዳችሁት) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው፡፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ» ይሏቸዋል፡፡ | (56) As for those who were given knowledge and faith will say, “You did stay, according to Allah’s decree, until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know.” |
| (57) በዚያም ቀን እነዚያን የበደሉትን ማመካኘታቸው አይጠቅማቸውም፡፡ እነርሱም በወቀሳ አይታለፉም፡፡ | (57) On that Day, no excuse will benefit the wrongdoers, nor will they be allowed to make amends. |
| (58) በዚያም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ከምሳሌ ሁሉ ለሰዎች በእርግጥ ገለጽን፡፡ በተዓምርም ብትመጣባቸው እነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች «እናንተ አበላሺዎች እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም» ይላሉ፡፡ | (58) We have presented in this Qur’an every kind of example for mankind. But no matter what sign you bring them, the disbelievers will surely say, “You follow nothing but falsehood.” |
| (59) እንደዚሁ አላህ በእነዚያ በማያውቁት ሰዎች ልቦች ላይ ያትማል፡፡ | (59) This is how Allah seals the hearts of those who have no knowledge. |
| (60) ስለዚህ ታገስ፡፡ የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነውና፡፡ እነዚያም በትንሣኤ የሚያረጋግጡት አያቅልሉህ፡፡ | (60) So be patient, for Allah’s promise is true, and do not let those who have no faith discourage you. |
